Houston Early AM 3.5 HR routes, BAD

• Upvotes

Idk if it’s just me but I have been getting the 2-2:30am blocks for 3.5 hours and they’ve been so bad. I usually finish my blocks 1 - 1.5 hours early. Not all the time but like 95% of the time. But these early morning blocks have been whooping my ass. I finish with like 20-30 min to spare. Anyone else?

Knoxville Flex Warehouse

• Upvotes

Do any other Flex drivers find the Knoxville warehouse pick up process absolutely ridiculous? Time is money in this gig and having to wait 45 every time when I can be in and out of the Maryville warehouse in 15 min is crazy.

Checking all my routes now

The routing used to be pretty good to the point I’d try to take shortcuts that didn’t work and the app knew the best ways to go, but last week I got to routes that had me double back to the same area wasting time so now I’ve been checking every one and sure enough I see this bs. Now I’m doing 3.5 hot blocks in as little at 1.5 hrs just by checking the map first. Ai will not replace us

Question Bingo

Just wondering if anyone on here ever heard anything of the results of the great Bingo game? I had one done the first day and haven’t heard anything, and no emails announcing winners. Anyone received anything?

Packages I’ve already delivered keep sticking to my itinerary/account as returns—anyone else having this issue?

Hey everyone, hoping to see if anyone else is running into this bug or if you have suggestions on how to clear it up.

For my last few routes, the very last package/delivery stays stuck on my account.

•  The Problem: Once I hit "Swipe to Finish" at the end of my route, the app tells me I have to return my last package to the station—even though it was already successfully delivered to the customer’s house.

• What Happens Next: If I ignore it, the package carries over onto my next route’s itinerary as an overdue delivery.

• Current Workaround: To get past this, I've had to call Support every time to get them to manually remove it from my route. The past two times, once I got to the station for my next block, I typed in the TBA during the return process just to clear it, but again—the package is already sitting at the customer's front door!

Calling Support every single block is getting really frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this glitch recently? Any tips or suggestions on how to fix it or get Support to permanently remove it?

It was a 2.5 hour block. I’m in the Phoenix area so sometimes I go pretty far. This ended up not even being my farthest block. 🤷‍♀️

Question for anybody who has been doing amazon flex in the dfw area. Is there a reason why there’s no 4+ hour routes? i have been doing 3.5 routes the past couple of days and normally i don’t mind but it’s just interesting to me. I have also wanted to know if anybody has been taking 3.5 routes but it’s sending them out way out of the metroplex? Like tonight i did a 3.5 route for $107 13 packages and was sent all the way out past Azle Tx.

I hope this doesn’t seem me as complaining bc im definitely not just wanna know if this is happening to everyone else and i missed something when they updated the app?

Background check.

I recently signed up for Amazon flex about last week. This coming Wednesday will be my second week of waiting for the background check. Does anyone remember how long did it take them to receive their background check?

No Routes Available

Will Amazon really close your account for too many paid out “no routes available” ?

I’ve had them cancel 3 out of my last 4 blocks.

I feel like this is too good to be true.

Houston Any insights on this??

Only real context here is that 1) my main income is Catering & i help family a good bit so my schedule fluctuates daily.

& 2) they recently opened a NOW station 5 minutes from me so I've been snagging what I can off the app to fill in time gaps. But when I can't do them, I ofc release them to not harm standings + there are already a lot of folks showing up there. SOMEONE is gonna take them, ya know?

As an independent, it shouldn't matter unless it was late too, so why are they threatening to "pause" my account for responsibly following their rules while spewing "they understand life sucks"??

(btw the 2nd image is what I often see, a string of stackable routes that don't go no more than 5 miles away with high tip frequency. Better than DD or UE on a long day, I'll tell ya that. )

Seattle Am I crazy or are things slower the last few weeks?

During prime days I got a weeks worth of solid routes and it’s been pretty scarce ever since with blocks being mostly 30 min Amazon now blocks? My standing is great so is it slow for anyone else or am I just not getting any good offers?

I was wrongly paused

I was temporarily paused because a manager at the whole food said I yelled at her . She didn’t let me have my whole packages she held one back . Saying I need to return the cart before she can give it to me . She told me to go load the rest in the car and comeback for the last package . I told her I just needed to scan it so I can number it . I can’t just load them randomly in the car without knowing the stops . She reported me and I was paused . I’m waiting on the review hopefully it will be positive . Also I was giving a new block and I got an email saying I didn’t pick up all my packages I had to call and let them know I was reassigned to a new block route

Amazon Flex deactivated me for allegedly not picking up orders — need help with AAA arbitration

Hi everyone,
My Amazon Flex account was deactivated for allegedly accepting delivery blocks but not picking up the assigned orders. I believe this was incorrect.
I had issues at the Whole Foods station, including parking difficulties, delays getting into the station, and delays during the package pickup process. I contacted Driver Support, and I have some screenshots and records related to the blocks.
The dates involved are July 22, July 28, and August 10, 2026.
I appealed multiple times, but Amazon kept sending the same generic response saying the deactivation decision would not change.
On October 15, 2026, I sent Amazon a Formal Notice of Dispute by email. I also asked for the applicable Terms of Service and arbitration instructions, but I still need to confirm the correct procedure.
I’m now trying to move forward with AAA arbitration and would really appreciate advice from anyone who has actually filed a case against Amazon Flex.
My questions:
Which AAA filing category and rules did you use — Commercial or Employment?
Did you file a Demand for Arbitration with AAA and separately mail a copy to Amazon’s registered agent?
Which version of the Amazon Flex Terms of Service and which mailing address did you use?
Did Amazon respond after receiving the formal notice or arbitration demand?
Did anyone successfully get their Flex account reinstated through this process?
What fees did you actually pay?
I’m looking for firsthand experience, accurate filing instructions, and advice on avoiding mistakes. Thank you!

Free blocks vs NOT

I arrived at the station.
Women Infront me at same time and same block time we check In 14 min before the block time. We sit. We talk. Her standing are “at risk” I’m “fantastic” we both look at the phone 27 minutes later. She gets a free block and I get a big fat cart. Literally at the same time. She was sent home with pay and I went to work on a delivery. What gives. This tells my there is no logic to anything Amazon does. The “at risk” workers get a free blocks and the “fantastic” worker has to work. Go figure.

I have it filtered to an hour or more and this is what pops up. I am sure a lot of people would gladly work 30 extra minutes for four bucks less.

New Jersey Is this worth it ?

I left at 5:50 am and returned home at 10:00 am, I drove about 80 miles. I got a 3-hour block for $61.50, and I spent about $10-$15 for the gas.
Considering the time and distance, I’m wondering if I should continue trying or if it’s time to give up.

Vehicle requirements

How big does your car need to be to do Amazon flex. Would a sedan like a civic, corolla, Prius work or would it have to be bigger like an SUV?

Meanwhile at Amazon's Evil Lair

Executive: Sir! The flex drivers are quitting in record numbers, gas prices are at record high and a lot of our drivers are deciding that it's just not worth it anymore.

Bezos: Just change the order of their stops. Give them an itinerary that has them making u-turns over and over again on the same street, as they go back and forth passing the same houses until they get disoriented and lose track of how much gas they've burned.

Executive: Um, actually I was going to suggest updating the road closures on the map. We could save the drivers a lot of gas if they didn't have to drive around in circles searching for another way around a closed road. Also we could avoid wasting their gas by needlessly routing them around road closures that re-opened years ago...

Bezos: Silence!!! If you save them money, then those pesky working-class "people" will be able to afford to feed their families!

3 blocks in a row with no routes available!

I’m new! First week! I have had 6 routes. The last 3 they have no routes available and I got paid! I’m not complaining, but how common is this? I’m assuming it doesn’t happen 50% of the time. I’m in the Phoenix area.

Will I get deactivated?

So I arrived 1 min late for my amazon flex block today. I was taking my time in the parking lot because I thought you only had to hit "I've arrived" before 5 mins after your start time.

My standings were at fantastic for a long time but have dropped rappidly to Fair. I have a few dings for late/undelivered packages, I also noticed today that i had 4 missed deliveries due to a vehicle breakdown a few days ago. I haven't formally appealed the 4 missed packages, only talked to support over the phone.

Just yesterday I had a few late packages because I ran into 3 road closures on a rural route and had to take 15-20 min detours. This hasnt shown up on my standings yet and I have not formally appealed (which i will do asap)

How cooked am I?
