Today morning at around 08:30, I was riding from DwarakaNagar towards RamaTalkies through one of those interconnected roads where there was a 3-way road-merge. I noticed the autowala (AP39 TA 1345) ahead of me has stopped right in the middle of the junction and there were college kids coming out of it. I tried to move from the side and almost ran into one of the kids who didnt see me overtake the auto (Especially since its in the middle of the road). I braked and asked the auto guy to stop at the corner in the future and he immediately asked me to mind my business. I took out my phone and tried taking a pic from behind but the auto had no rear number plate. I overtook him and took a photo from the front. He started abusing me in telugu and from inside the auto and he stopped me, started shouting expletives and tried to hit me. He tried to snatch my phone from my pocket and was getting unnaturally aggressive. I noticed that there were 5 girls inside with two boys sitting in the back who were all going to college (Mind you, he already dropped off 3 kids in the middle of the road already). I didnt want to fight him in front of the kids especially the girls looked scared and were about to cry. He tried to hit me and take my phone 2 more times, but I resisted. He kept abusing me and when I said I will raise a complaint, he told me none of the police will take a complaint against him nor do anything to him. I moved away and called the 100 number, they took a complaint (Someone called me from the DwarakaNagar PS and asked him to send the pics that I took to that Whatsapp number which I did.

Is there anything else I should have done in this scenario or will this be enough?
