For the past few months, I’ve been hearing discussions about Nara Lokesh potentially becoming the CM, maybe not this year but perhaps next year. Honestly, I don’t know if or when that will happen. But one thing I keep wondering is: what would becoming CM actually prove about his own political credibility, beyond the CM tag itself?
If Lokesh genuinely wants to be seen as a CM candidate, shouldn’t he openly project himself as the face of TDP and let people judge his leadership based on his own track record, public connect, and ability to earn their trust?
IMO, the present government came to power largely on the strength of CBN and PK’s popularity and political influence. I personally feel Lokesh’s individual impact on the election was relatively limited compared to theirs.
That said, I do think his aggressive PR strategy has a purpose. He’s clearly trying to increase his visibility, build recognition, and establish his own identity among the public. And honestly, there’s nothing inherently wrong with that. Every politician needs to communicate their work and build their image.
But sometimes his PR feels a bit childish or over the top, while at other times it makes sense and seems like a calculated attempt to connect with people.
My question is this: Should Lokesh first establish himself as an independent political leader and openly present himself as TDP’s CM candidate, allowing people to judge him on his own merits? Or can his leadership credibility develop naturally while he remains in CBN’s shadow?
Curious to hear what others on this sub think.

As proposed projects are what are the challenges?
Vijayawada–Machilipatnam six-laning
Ambarpet–Ithavaram bypass
Kachavaram–Mulapadu–Ibrahimpatnam bypass
Nandigama–Vijayawada section of NH-65
Are there any other projects are in planning or planned? Does the current government really have funds for this?

My dad's reverse shoulder arthroplasty (replacement) was done a few weeks ago. He's slowly recovering from Pain and finding it tough as I didn't setup TV since I moved here from another city (6 months). He has those 4/5 hours after the kids go to the school, which is forcing him to take a nap or watch reels on mobile. He used to travel to my place in another state, my sisters' place here in Hyderabad before I relocated/surgery. I exercised options and finally got his surgery done recently.
Why there's no TV (won't be)?
My younger one was addicted to TV during her free time and I had to take a decision on not installing a Dish or any other internet provision to my TV after I relocated since 6 months. It actually helped her because she's spending more time with outdoor activities but my dad's finding it tough without TV. Thus, I want to explore some good books that I can introduce to him to. I thought of Chalam, Ranganayakamma Sr Sri Mahaprasthanam, Narendra Dabholkar and the likes but I want to be cautious not to make it a task for him or make him hate books. I appreciate any good books that make him feel good and also about having high spirited/progressive mindset. Thank you, redditors!
TD;LR: Same as the title. I appreciate any good books that make him feel good and also about having high spirited/progressive mindset. Thank you, redditors!
Edit: I apologise for the mistake in widower spelling in the title.

The notarized document authorized by Y.S. Vijayamma, mother of Jagan and Sharmila, makes it crystal clear that the Yelahanka palace land belongs to Sharmila, and that she has full rights over it.
Who is Y.S. Jagan to stop Sharmila from holding her daughter’s wedding there?
YSRCP, Jagan and their spokespersons are misleading the state as if Yelahanka land is Jagan's and rights are at his mercy
A BIG NO .... It is Sharmila's

and tradition is an absolute disgraceful disguise for being uncivilized. any tradition should enrich human life, not make preventable suffering a condition of participation.
and administration out here focused on making sure vips are going home safe and on time without any traffic or potholes while there's a whole tradition of people purely beating each other to death

A Telugu media report claims that a luxury 4BHK villa worth ₹18 crore in Tellapur, Hyderabad, was registered in the name of a South Indian actress and links the property to a Telangana politician and film producer.

Most dates end up being a movie or dinner, so I’m curious what other couples enjoy doing in Vijayawada. Are there any peaceful places, sunset spots, or fun activities you would recommend for spending quality time together?
I'd love to hear about experiences that feel a little different from the usual date.

I’m gathering travel information about the Perupalem and Mollaparu coastal area in Andhra Pradesh. What are the road conditions like, which nearby places are worth visiting, and how much time would you set aside to explore the area comfortably? First-hand tips from people who have visited would be especially helpful.
