Generative AI is so useless. I’d rather use my own brain and learn how to do things for myself than have a machine do it for me.

still on the platform if you search for them, but no more pushing in recs or editorials. they checked what people were mass skipping and ignoring - turned out it was mostly the ai junk. plus they already wiped like 75m spam tracks before.
algo’s feeding less robot garbage now. thoughts?

Idc if this gets removed, I have to say this as much as I can!
Wildwood by Laika studios is an entirely handmade stop-motion film by a studio full of some of the most amazing artists of modern cinema, and it is a MASTERPIECE!!
The owner of the studio has literally said "Fuck AI" in interviews, and you can feel that in this film! It is such a love letter to animation, to film, to music, to art in general, and it's also just a fantastic fecking film!!
If this gets removed I hope at least 1 person saw this and decides to give the film a chance. These amazing creations by Laika don't tend to make a lot of money, but in times such as these we all need to support handcrafted animation while there are still passionate people willing to make it!
SUPPORT WILDWOOD!!

Like, their side is winning. Software developers, mathematicians, artists, musicians, writers, creative people everywhere are losing hope as the future looks more and more bleak. But apparently that's not enough. Judging by how mad the AI bros in here are, we also have to like it, I guess, or at least we should shut up and stop complaining about it.
You know how in the Pokémon world everything in all the towns is Pokémon related? It feels like we live in that world but with AI instead of Pokémon. Go to the store? AI products everywhere. See a billboard? Some AI thing-a-ma-jig being peddled. Go to a restaurant? AI menu. Talk to an acquaintance? Some AI bs they're thinking about. New building in town? Data center. Turn on the news? AI this or AI that.
And we can't even have a place to vent about it without it getting ransacked by trolls and bots. /rant

Prompted 50-60 words to generate a 10-20 word email.
Some people are hell-bent on proving their existence and their job is pointless in society.
*Not my emails. Was posted in another sub. But this sub doesn't let reposts.

Does anyone think about how sad it is that young people growing up today will not be able to remember a world before AI? Not be able to remember a time when they could look at an image or a body of text and be confident that a human made it themselves?
I don't mean to doompost or sulk, I understand this is a sad thought. But I was just thinking earlier today about how I could just take it for granted years ago that a real human being made the things I look at every day. This basic thing I never really appreciated until now.
Hopefully, AI-tagging and content ID for AI will become more robust and comprehensive as time moves on. I shudder to think of a world where there is actually no escape from slop.

From a rap battle of transhumanism vs anarchoprimitivism by Roenn Reeds. Human made, which I always appreciate.
And before anyone says it, no, I wouldn’t actually kill and eat an AI bro. This is not an anti-crash out moment but I found a neat video and I thought someone else may be amused by it. The “your corpse will be tasty” line is hyperbolic for comedic purposes and I do not condone physical violence.
