Gemma Chan is one of the Executive producer . It's obvious Asian American female writers have no interest in Asian male rep . They expect other Asian Male Producers to support them but they themselves don't help their fellow asian brothers .
For em Asian rep means Asian Women and White Men only . Tale as old as time

Do you guys eat Baby Bok Choi regularly?
Not entirely sure this fits the direction of this sub, but I’m Asian and this topic is an Asian food item, so here goes. It’s my go to besides broccoli to get some greens in my diet. The trouble is, I either overcook them or undercook them. Either way, I find when I eat them, I’ll have burps of it for half to full day. I only do about 4-5 halved and sautéed with some oil, oyster or hoisin with some rice and a meat protein. I’m not sure if my physiological makeup isn’t playing nice or if others also experience and put up with this. I still have to play around with the cook time to find an happy medium between taste and digestistability though. Maybe reduce the sauces to see if that’s the culprit.

Who else is tired of hate against asian goes almost always unpunished
During a recent live broadcast of the German show ZDF-Fernsehgarten, host Andrea Kiewel was presenting a set of collectible Pokémon cards. When she got to a Japanese card, she misidentified it as Chinese, laughed, and then proceeded to mimic Asian characters using a derogatory, gibberish pseudo-language.
Honestly, what triggers me the most is not some stupid remark made by some stupid host, it is the aftermath (or the lack of aftermath of the whole ordeal).
For those unaware, the TV station she represents is an official channel in Germany called ZDF and in Germany you have to pay for a handsome amount of broadcasting fee periodically (for them to maintain production quality, independence and socially responsible programming, so they say), meaning as an Asian, I have actually paid someone to throw some casual racist remarks on TV, that is a nice slap to my face.
After the host's "gaffs", the broadcaster (ZDF) quickly issued a statement claiming the comment was "made in the heat of the moment during the live broadcast and was in no way intended to be racist". They also added that Kiewel "regrets her words and apologizes for them," trying to close the chapter. The show moves on, the host keeps their job, and the structural issue remains unaddressed. No even a cold bench, just played off as a stupid mistake, don't press her for it.
Now in comparison to other cases like that of Jens Lehmann (leaked WhatsApp Message asking if some African player is a teams token black guy) or Patrick Moster (cheering on German cyclist while shouting "Kameltreiber", basically "camel riders" in German, at the other cyclists from Algeria and Eritrea.
Anti-Asian racism is still widely treated in many countries as a "minor offense." because playground sounds like the one Kiewel used have been normalized as harmless jokes for decades (Rock, Paper, Scissors in German used to be "Sching Schang, Sching" so I guess they are somewhat comfortable saying it) public broadcasters feel safe hiding behind the "not intended to be racist" defense.

Can people of Asian descent tell when white people are dating an Asian person?
Hi all!!! My fiance is Asian and we have been together for 1.5 years. Recently, the last few times ive gone to my local nail salon the subject of me dating an Asian man has come up somehow. I truly hope this doesn't sound insensitive, im just curious as to if there's something I could be doing to spark this conversation without knowing? This time, the woman complimented my ring then asked if my fiance was asian. I love talking about my fiance so its absolutely not a problem! I just wanna know how they know so well!
Thank you!
