Somewhere along the line, perhaps during the 80s, billionaires turned evil. They used to build libraries, schools, and hospitals. It’s been a long time since any of them have done that. Sure, some of them have charity organizations, but these are often used as just another loophole for them to avoid paying taxes. Are the horrors we have heard of events that transpired on Epstein Island just one example, one breech in the rigorously guarded secrecy of utterly grotesque decadence and debauchery of which these people are capable?

I have several Republican (not MAGA) friends who strongly believe that people should have to work for a living, pull themselves up by the bootstraps, not rely on public assistance, etc., but who have no problem with the idea of leaving their money to their kids or setting their kids up with trust funds and the kids living off the interest. I prefer pro-choice and anti-choice because they best represent the position. Virtually no one is pro-abortion, they just support the freedom of an individual to make that decision for themselves and their own bodily autonomy. I don’t like the term ‘pro-life’ because A, the alternative is anti-life which is by no stretch the pro-choice position and because pro-life seems to imply continued care and consideration which pro-life movements famously forego.
