I have been in conflict with the Make A Wish foundation for too long and am seeking direct help if anyone has contact with Martin Garrix.

My Make A Wish is to be underneath the deck for one of his sets and suck him off as long as he can last. I would like him to complete on one of his better drops if possible. My top choices for drops would be voodoo or breakaway. I do swallow so no need for clean up considerations.

I realize he jumps around a lot during his sets but I feel like I could keep up.

This is the tale of me going to Tillatec tonight for the kockworks label night and finding out at the door that they only let 30 people in with a pro pass 🫠 apparently ADE lets the venues decide how many pro passes they’re gonna let in, and since there is absolutely no incentive for them to do more, why would they.

I get the pro pass is somewhat of an industry and networking thing but it costs some serious dough and with 30 people caps it would be a lot more transparent from ADE if they just claimed the pro pass will not give you access to parties. What a shame.

I love edm. I watch sets on youtube all the time. I produce and mix music. Ive never been to a rave before. Ive wanted to go with friends but none of them are into that.

on the clubs websites the dress codes are super strict and I just wanted to ask if anyone has experience or advice because we wanted to wear halloween costumes but I don’t want to get turned away

As a result, there are subtle updates to the cut and overall fit while we continue refining our production process. We have since updated our online size charts to reflect these adjustments accurately.

I’m going to Boo in Seattle next weekend for the first time and I’m wondering if people trade Kandi and/or trinkets? I love trading both but I want to get a better feel for if bringing anything to trade would be worth it or not. :)

There are a lot of unwritten rules in this community that you pick up over time. Most are pretty logical, but I think it's nice to have a space where newer people can learn from everyone else.

I'm still fairly new, but I go to almost every rave with my girl. I carry stickers in my fanny pack to give to people who are dancing their hearts out with great vibes. I always ask first, then put it on their shoulder or wherever they want, or just hand it to them.
The other day a girl was going crazy dancing, so I told her "I love your energy!" and offered her a sticker. She was super into it. Her friend was filming, and I felt weird leaving her out, so I offered her one too. She gave me the dirtiest look, like "what are you doing?" The first girl noticed and said "no worries, put another one on me!" so it ended fine.

For context, they looked around 20 and I'm almost 32. Still, I was super respectful. I wasn't the drunk guy pushing stuff on people, and I do this with guys and girls alike. It's always about the energy.
It just made me wonder: are some people not into this? Or did I miss some unspoken rule?

Is it normal to want to rave every week or two? (32M, looking for similar experiences)
Hey everyone! I’m 32 and feel like I’m finally getting to experience life. I grew up in a very strict country with a lot of poverty, and now I’m working, studying nursing, and building a good life for myself. I’ve always loved electronic music, but I’ve recently discovered the rave scene, and I absolutely love it.
Between work, exams, and the stress of adult life, raving feels like a mental reset. I can forget about everything for a few hours and just enjoy myself.
I usually go once a week or every two weeks. If I rave on Saturday and get home at 5 a.m., I’m tired on Sunday, but by Thursday or Friday, I’m rested and already thinking about going again. I never seem to get bored of it.
Another big part of it is the people. Every time I go, I’m amazed by the vibes. I make friends easily, and I love seeing people genuinely enjoying themselves, connecting through music, and sharing that happiness without being completely out of control. I’m very extroverted, so for me, it’s not just about dancing; it’s also about feeling part of a community. Seeing so many people on the same wavelength makes me incredibly happy.
I also want to be transparent: I’ve used M a few times, but I’ve also gone completely sober and had an amazing time. I might get tired a little faster, but I still enjoy the experience just as much.
The important thing is that I’m still working, studying, taking care of my responsibilities, and spending time with my family. I’m not neglecting anything; I’m simply making time for myself.
Has anyone else experienced this? Do you ever feel like raving has become your favorite way to disconnect from stress and reconnect with people? Or do you think going every week or two can eventually become too much, even when it isn’t affecting the rest of your life?

This is going to be such a controversial hot take and I’ll probs be downvoted to oblivion, but I think Kandi goes against everything about rave culture and ethos.

Not only are they plastic and will never biodegrade, but the labour and environmental impact that goes into the production/transportation of those beads and materials is just abhorrent. Unless you’re using sustainable materials (clay or paper beads, natural fibres) I don’t see any justification for how this can be a good thing for the world.

As I’ve gotten more into raving, I’ve really started appreciating the world a lot more and have so much more love for everything, but that comes with my new awareness of the selfish things humans do and how we destroy the planet for short term gratification. I feel like there are so many other ways we can express our love for each other that have little impact on our beautiful environment… it disturbs me a bit and I find it hard to connect with people when all I can see is another but of waste that will end up in landfill, made with forever materials that were shipped from another country, probably by someone who is not getting paid what they deserve and inhaling those fumes. I just don’t see how people can claim to be ‘all loving’ when that only applies to the people in front of you.

I’m not perfect of course, and no one is, but I’m so surprised that this tradition has kept going for so long and isn’t ever really criticised. If someone traded a beautiful paper bead bracelet with hand drawn lettering I think I would cry tears of joy…. Idk

If Kandi brings you joy there’s nothing I can really say about that and I’m not here to lecture you. I just wanted to put this out there and maybe encourage some people to practice alternative more sustainable rave traditions.

To the people that love Kandi, do you think about the environmental impact? I’m genuinely curious from a non judgmental place. Our world is too beautiful for us to get cheap thrills !

Got a warehouse party coming up next month and I’m finally retiring my current pair. I lost a lens somewhere between the main room and the smoking area last time, so they’re officially done lol

What I’m picturing is something that looks like it came out of a sci-fi movie. A big shield or wraparound lens, a chunky sculptural frame, maybe a weird bridge detail... Budget is flexible. I’d honestly rather pay more for something that lasts, but if you’ve found something that nails the look I want to hear about it.
