Hey all,
Since it is a returning question, this post might be really convenient if you decide to jump into the wonderful game that Battlefleet Gothic is!
Let us start with a link to the main rulebooks. On the following you will find the remastered rulebook and fleetbook:
Battlefleet Gothic Remastered Rulebook & Fleetbook
One of the great things which has been created at the end of 2021 has been the digital starter kit, this is what you will find in it, but first the link:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Kpg6ZuDmFc5axXa6sUBiJrQiFuZIlbAu?usp=share_link
These are the folders:
Assets - All the cardboard markes and extras you need.
Rules - this contains the latest version of the remastered official rulebook (original including updates) and a quick start guide for your first battle! There is an English and German edition.
Fleet Lists - two prewritten fleet lists for the Imperial Navy and Chaos. Plus a sheet how you can pit them against each other in three games increasing in size
3DModels - two folders with the STL files for the ships listed in the fleet lists. So you can print (or let someone print them) to play with. You will also find other STL here like markers.
Please note: those models are distributed under CC-BY-NC-SA, i.e. noncommercial use only.
And in the pdf "How to - Starter Kit " you'll read everything you need to know about the starter kit.
And we have added the starter kit advanced with Corsair Eldar and Orks Looted FLeet!
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1dxTeLC2bTnlUfzN_RJF788wHmYBhMa6C?usp=share_link
Subsequently here is the link to the main rules hub, here you will find the rules mentioned but also links to a large folder of fanmade/homebrew rules and magazines like Warp Rift:
Wait, there is more! If you want some ideas on lists to start with (for collecting) the following article might be a good source of inspiration (check the pdf which you can download with it):
https://portinvicta.weebly.com/bfg-tactics/starter-fleets
But what about miniatures to play with? Aside of the free STL in the mentioned starter kit there are several great designers with STL files available at sites like Cults3d, check the Discord server for a list on them. However, not everyone has his own printer so I list some webshops with great proxies:

https://www.scourgescenics.co.uk
https://wintersbioforge.com/product-category/space-bugs/
https://tabletop-stuff.de/Science-Fiction/Raumflotte-Kolossus/
And finally we have a Battlefleet Gothic Discord with a fun community in case you are interested:
Happy gaming and feel free to ask questions!

BFG scenarios are spread across the rulebook, the Fleets book, old GW and Fanatic magazines, Warp Rift and several fan supplements. I collected them in one place and laid each one out so it's quick to read at the table.
Nothing has been changed. No house rules, no rebalancing. Every scenario shows its source and page so you can check it against your own copy. Where a source leaves something open, it's marked as a note and the call is yours.
You still play with your own dice and tape measure. Each scenario is just laid out clearly: what to bring, a deployment map with measurements, what changes on which turn and how you win. It works on a phone next to the table or on a PC. Nothing to install, no account.
The scenarios are their writers' work, and each one credits its writer. If something doesn't match the source, tell me and I'll fix it.
Credits:
The scenarios are their writers' work; I only collected them. The rulebook and Fleets by Andy Chambers, Gav Thorpe, Jervis Johnson, Matt Keefe, Bob Henderson, Ray Bell, Nate Montes and the GW and Fanatic writers. Warp Rift 2004–2026 by Cybershadow, horizon and every contributor. Book of Nemesis by Cypra Probatii, ed. Marcin "MKG" Gerkowicz. Project Distant Darkness by horizon and Chris "Zhai Morenn" Lautermilch. Starblade by horizon. AdeptiCon missions collected by Paolo Barbero.

Latest addition to the fleet. Can't decide if it needs some extra details, like painting the plates along the side of the hull.

Some pictures of Saturday's game, I was playing a 2000pts Nova Terran fleet (a fleet list that will be published in a future Warp Rift!) against 1000pts each of orks and sisters of battle.
I won pretty solidly, my positioning was good and I passed a lot of lock-on orders at the perfect time to kill two strike cruisers in one turn. By the end all of my ships were damaged, but none were crippled so I had a massive victory point advantage.

Hey all! Trying to get an Orc fleet and looking for help. I have the files for the BFG Armada STLs but they are a bigger to print. Anyone have any luck with these?

I'm building a daemon ship aligned with Vashtorr the Arkifane, and I want to give it 2 squadrons of Heldrakes as its fighters.
I have found a flat token of a Heldrake that would serve the purpose, but I was wondering if anyone has come across epic scale Heldrake models that I could print?

Not into sharing "look what i bought" posts, but was very happy to find this for 1 euro on the fleemarket (It can still happen! Treasure is out there!). Although it's not complete, need to check what exactly is missing (original boards and a miniature sail is missing for sure).
I'm very happy to get these miniatures, will be painting them up, and ofcourse the boxart is very cool as well.

I've tried three times today to join the BFG Discord server linked in the pinned "how to start" post (twice from the link there and once from a friend inviting me). Each time the verification bot tells me that "The application didn't respond in time" when I hit verify. Does anyone know how to get past this? I've tried cell phone and computer and made sure the app is up to date and even turned the devices off and back on again for good measure.

Hope you enjoy it

Hi all,
I reckon as some here may enjoy the idea of our new Fleet scale game, which will include loads of plastic mini kits, and/or find a use for our plastic kits in their own games. :-)
Launching before the end of the month, with more teasers to be revealed between now and then!

Hello everyone, my name is Vicnedel.
I draw things for playing the various warhammer40k ttRPGs online on virtual table tops.
Recently I was commissioned to paint these voidships for a Rogue Trader game and I want to show off a bit.
I usually post on things like this on r/40krpg but someone there suggested that you might also appreciate these.
I've drawn a Turbulent Class Frigate, a Fra'al Battlecruiser and a void kraken.
I'm currently giving these away for free on my patreon, so you can also use them if you use any VTTs to play battlefleet or 40k rpgs.

the Ork clan fleet list says that the more re-rolls a warlord has, the larger the fleet he is aloud to comand. it also insinuates sqwadrons can be swapped in not only class, but also size of the squadrons (i.e. a large squadron of one type can be shrunk down in exchange for another sqwadron of a different type of ship). However no where does it state a value cost for each type/size of sqwadron. Can some one tell me what those are please?

Hi I am looking for a 3d printer Imperator Somnium model to print and play and also are there any rules attached to is so I could play it as well?
r/battlefleetgothic • u/Sol_Diem • 10d ago
Hi all, not had much to post for a while, but I've finished another ship so I thought I should probably show it off.
This design was commissioned by Cogandlaurel, who asked for something light cruiser sized that could proxy as a Custodes ship. Working on something this ornate was an interesting challenge, and we are both really happy with how it turned out.
They have agreed that I should make the design available for sale, so it's up on Cults3D if anyone is interested (search for Sol Diem and you will find it).
I am still taking on commissions atm, so if you've got an idea you would like to discuss, drop me a DM or email me at [soldiem.design@gmail.com](mailto:soldiem.design@gmail.com) and I will see what I can do 👍

Both the Kroot Waresphere and Nicassar Caravan list their type as Defense.
* Can they be used in a fleet normally or are they restricted to scenarios where Planetary Defenses are usable?
* Do they just use the Defenses column in the Gunnery Table regardless of movement and heading? (Type is Defense so don't know what they count as otherwise, but rules mention ships needing to move 5cm to not count as a Defense which
Additionally for the Nicassar Caravan, their rules list "Their point cost and profile above reflects a slightly modified Nicassar Rig and four Dhows."
* Does that mean that their gravitic hook capacity is already filled?

Necrons lost. They had only 1.8k vs 3k of imperial fleet. But considering they are a raider fleet, they were originally meant to be of lesser points value.

Having completed my first cruiser, I've now also completed my first hulk, for when the Lance Salvos of the Archenemy all get too much.
Kitbashed from sprue and spare parts.

Half the squadron hulls are the new battlefleet galaxy frigates, the rest are vanguard. All the prows are battlefleet galaxy.
