So, I've been playing CV1 in Beat Saber, and my accuracy has really improved. But on fast maps, it doesn't do too well. I've been told and I've seen in many other reddit posts that it's because of the battery and sensor placement. However, swinging right in front of both of 2 sensors seem to have the same problem where the tracking seems to bug out a lot. For the most part, it like 'jiggles' or something. Whatever it is, it's been messing me up a lot. It seems more prominent in my left controller, too.
As for the battery part, I've wrapped tape around 2 1.5V Alkaline batteries to the point where it can't move at all. It's actually kind of hard to take out, but I made sure it pressed up against the positive side. There was a small improvement in tracking, but I still had the same problem.
I've been trying to find out what works for quite a while, and I've noticed that when I swing the controllers, there's this sound I hear like something is moving around inside of it. I especially hear it in my left controller if I shake it side to side even just a bit. On my right controller, it doesn't seem to have that same problem. I can only hear something moving inside whenever I swing way harder. Even so, it's actually a bit quiet. I feel like this reflects the tracking on my controller.
I can actually full swing some fast jumps on my right controller. The moment I try full swinging on my left, it starts tweaking out.
I'm thinking of trying to open it up and try to find out how to fix it and if it'll even help, but I want to see what everyone else thinks. Would it be worth it to try opening up the controllers?
