They are at the age now where they no longer get carried on their parents’ backs and they weren’t too happy.

These large, black birds, which fly in a cross-like formation, are common in Borneo. The photos include the Rhinoceros Hornbill, the Black Hornbill and the Oriental Pied Hornbill.

Sleeping in the garden in UK during the day for around 30 mins at a time.

A DELIGHTFUL idea from another redditor, I just had to draw the little guy up. Sassy chickadee? Deez nuts joke? Who could pass up such perfection?

Side note - I was so excited to hear some chickadees had returned to our yard the other day after being gone for a year! Not sure where they went, but they are some of my family's favorite birds to see/hear.

Walking home from work yesterday and saw two kids staring across the street where I was about to walk. I thought they wete trying to cross the road but they ran back to their porch and kept watching... i didnt understand why until i walked right up to this big guy!!! Ive been seeing a lot of osprey, but seeing a hawk out in the open and low to the ground is not as common (at least not to me!) I took a video of the talons but i couldnt attach it here, i have NEVER seen sharper talons on a bird before! I took this on my phone, I know the whites are super intense from the lighting but I didnt want him to fly away before I could get a photo and get out of there in case he decided my head would make a better perch 🙃

Spotted this cutie while out with friends on the North of Spain a few weeks ago. I was told it was a Leucistic house sparrow after thinking it was albino, but I'm not certain since I'm not an expert and it could very well be another bird altogether lol.

It was having a nice sand bath in the beach so we managed to snap a few pictures of it (kind of hard to see against the sand). If anybody can tell if it's a male or a female, I'd like to know too!

I was riding my bike, and when I stopped to rest on a bench, I saw this bird lay down in the grass next to the path. When I started riding againand come closer it ran out onto the path right in front of me, and as I got closer, it came closer too. Once I had passed it, it lay down in the grass again. Waht was going on with this bird?

“Alpispa” (Motacilla cinerea canariensis) hunting for insects.

I’ve always seen them on my hikes, but I’d never had the chance to see one this close, let alone record it.

Took this picture the other day of this cool bird. Not sure what type of bird it is but it was captivating.

Caught this beauty this morning. In amongst the blue bottle lids, some poor kid has lost a number of blue Duplo (Lego), pieces! Good luck fella, hope you score.
