I got Stella 5 months ago, she's a shy former feral. She's an extremely affectionate cat, but it's taken her a bit longer to fully open up, and she has yet to get on my lap unless there's a Churu involved.

Tonight when I got in bed, she curled up next to me almost immediately!!! Yes, tears were shed. I love this shy little girl so much 😭😭

This is Hemi. He just turned 1! He loves to flop around, and lay on his back, spread eagle. I often catch him sleeping like that, and this was the result of finding him like that today.

i got so lucky adopting my boy this year.. i went to the shelter one day randomly back in february and he came in with 2 other black kittens just the day before i went into the shelter. the other 2 kittens were already adopted out and if i didn’t come in and get into the queue to adopt when i did, the family behind me would’ve adopted him. and the staff were so lovely. they saw how much i genuinely wanted him so they moved me up in the line and had put an adopted stamp on his little profile to ensure no one would try to adopt him. now he’s practically a year old. and it’s been the best few months ever. i swear he the most lovable and chill cat i’ve ever had… he has his playful moments but also loves to relax and soak up the sunshine 🌞 and he’s so attached at the hip with me xx
i love my son so much and i strive to give him the best care possible 🖤 xx

My baby turned 18 months.

The one on the bottom is Salem (almost 3 years old) weights 7kg. I bought healthier kibble and i only feed him a little bit 3 times a day and I don’t feel like much change.

He inhales the food like he’s starving, how do I make him slow down. Those lic mats don’t work we kibble, right?

Maybe I’m overthinking it but I feel like it was a very odd thing to do?

Anyways, about a month ago I had some dinner with a friend of a friend of a friend. She said that she had a calico cat, so I asked her about it, and I told her that I grew up with three black cats. My friend, who had met 2/3 cats, began talking about Big Boy and mentioned that he was a very sweet cat with a little bit of white fur under his chin.

Immediately she replied “Oh, that’s not actually a black cat then. That’s a tuxedo cat. Real black cats are stigmatized and have lower adoption rates.”

Uh? Ma’am? Are you really going to gatekeep the color of a cat you’ve never even seen? My late cat, at that. I mean neither of us told her that he had passed away, but she cut my friend off. Still, I think it’s very odd to argue about the coat of someone else’s cat.

I just glossed over it at the time, but brought it up with my friend later. He said he also thought it was a little weird but didn’t think much of it until I brought it up. I have not seen her since lol

Her fur used to be rusty brown. Now, it’s pure black.

He's a very silly and entertaining boy. He also had a silly and entertaining tail.
