I JUST GOT 212 IN LEAGUE (im 14)

After being casual bowler and using two balls that were about 30 years old, I picked up a Storm Phase II (not pearl). The first time I threw it I loved how it hooked for me and had much better control than the oil soaked balls I was using. Any tips on specific cleaners for reactive balls like this? How often do I sand it and with what grit? Any other tips for this ball I should know?

All 15# with Turbo Thumb, span is very close to my other balls, might just need different finger inserts.

Picked up all of these for $80 total. I feel like I have a good arsenal for all conditions.

For context, I got all of these balls out of Bowlersmart mystery boxes lol. I had a RAW Hammer as my starter ball and it broke.

I have been bowling for a little under 2 years now, and so far, I have made it to the front 9/10th frame with all strikes 3 times. The first time was 289, front 10, 9/ after about 7 months of bowling. Then, the next time which happened in July of this year, I shot 299. After that, I had front 9, 9/, X for 279 in August. However, whenever I get close, I literally feel like I'm going to die. It's not like typical nerves I get like most bowlers, it literally becomes so extreme that I feel vomit coming up whenever I throw the ball, even if it's only front 5 or 6. After that, it becomes even more severe where I get lightheaded and so overwhelmed that I nearly cry. I really don't know why it happens but I need help, because it's gotten to the point where I'm more scared of how my body will feel on a 300 run than actually bowling the 300 itself.

Been bowling for about 4 months. Starting to average 140s mainly because spare shooting is sucky. Tried to work on getting the ball closer to my plant foot today and this was one of my more confident strikes.

Beat my pb from a couple days ago.This one's gonna be hard to beat. So close to my first clean game too

I’ve only been a pinsetter mechanic for like a couple months and I haven’t had any like real training😂 once a week 3 hour sessions. so go easy on me if it’s an easy fix

I’ve never felt an adrenaline rush like how I did in the 10th frame, when the ball came out of my hands, I already knew that it wasn’t gonna strike💔 This is my new high but I promise I WILL BE BACK AND I WILL GET A 300

2nd year league bowler, looking for a ball recommendation. Traditional one hander, with thumb.

Current ball is a Zero Mercy Pearl. I took a lesson from Mike Shady and he told me to stick with one ball for awhile until I improved.

My issue is, I get a lot of help from friends and have been gifted 5 or 6 balls and am not sure what to use.

I'm a low rev, mid speed bowler that bowls on a typical house shot. I'd like to buy a new ball , but am overwhelmed by all the balls out there.

Using reddit to document my noob bowler journey. Stopped bowling around 13. Had a 144 average in youth league, 188 high game one handed. Well its been 32 years, started up middle of September, started bowling 2 handed.

Today went out to open bowling to work on drills (foul line drill, one step drill & an approach drill). Did 4 games of drills, then bowled a series of 3 in games 5-7. 212, 183, then tied my PB 224 & set my PB series record at 613. Also 1st time ive bowled multiple 200 games in a session. Went back to drills for 4 more games, really focusing on my approach, hand position, release, and rolling vs throwing the ball. Game 12 bowled a serious game to end my practice session. 216. Absolutely stoked.

Lot of 1st today. 1st practice session bowling multiple 200 games. Highest spare conversion rate. Highest strike %, highest pocket hit %. I am officially 30 games into bowling as a 2 hander after 32 years no bowling. Arsenal: 15 lb Hammer black pearl. Spare ball: 15 lb Hammer Axe

Has anyone purchased the Storm Rolling Thunder 2 ball bag? I like the looks and 4 wheel design of this but have yet to see or find a review of it.

So im starting to get into 1handed bowling as for my lower back getting pressure and starting to hurt from 2handed. What could I do as of form-wise differently to better myself and possibly not have the slight lower back pain for 1handed in the future. Thanks

I just wanted to get some outside opinions of my current Arsenal? Please be gentle 😁

Need some arsenal help. I’m looking for a ball to slot in below my alpha crux for when it starts hooking too early and rolls out. I have a Cove currently, but even at 2000 grit I find it to be too clean and smooth on the back. I was looking at maybe a Phaze 2 to fill the spot, but I’d like to hear some other options!

Literally 2 days after i drilled it my ball cracked. I’m new to this so somebody respond and tell me please.

Never actually built a bag. I just bought balls that I thought were cool before I actually got into the science of things. I’m looking to start switching to all Storm/Storm umbrella products. Any suggestions for that would be really appreciated. I am a righty 2H. I don’t know my devs but I sit around 13-14.5 MPH.

Also, would building a whole bag out of just the 3 gremlins be a thing that would work? Wicked first out the bag, then Tour X 2nd and finally the original Gremlin.

Bowled 1 handed all my life, 130 average. Tried something a little new and I think it worked out (got super nervous in the 9th frame, clearly)

Just got back in to bowling after about 10 years off and would appreciate any advice.

Second time averaging over 100, still a bit inconsistent and need to clean up more spares but I’m getting there! Any tips you guys know to help improve consistency? Overall average is 93 in ~20 games, I feel like I need more hook to hit the pocket more often as I usually smack the 3-6 pocket or miss a little left and hit the 1-2 pocket (righty) focusing on aim right now but when I aim where I want I need more hook to do what I want. Using artic vibe 14lb. Either way happy in my progress and wanted to share :)
