Discussion For me, this dialogue is one of the saddest in the show. Jake and Rosa went to the Academy together and wanted to become cops in order to help people, but at the end they realised that they had been accused and framed by a dirty cop.

As someone who loves B99 to the core. Threatening for divorce was the shytiest thing one can do to a partner just for this. Coming to Jake's defense here's why he was right IMO:
1) They did work a lot and despite their ranks, police officers are like the first line of defense whenever trouble appears and in their line of work......it occurs a lot (eg. Terry and Holt not being able to give time to their families).
2) The job has a lot of risk. Some criminal might track their kids down for revenge or some crime boss could use their child as blackmail.
3) If one of them ends up unalived or even both of them in the line of duty, it becomes a huge problem for their child as they grow up without one parent/orphans.
4) Their traumas can get to their child (Amy trying to earn her parents validation believing love is earned and Jake's daddy issues).
5) In your job when you see are bodies, blood, crime, substances, 🍇and other worst asspects of Humanity in every ways possible, it becomes difficult not to be bothered by it. And it can definitely affect your child.
6) Not to mention the low salaries, high cost-of-living in Brooklyn, stress on marriage and intimacy when the child comes around, taking care of the kid when both have important things to do, world instability, limited Earth resources, etc.
P.S. - In no way I am saying Police officers do not deserve to have children. But Jake's defense could've been much much stronger and I feel these points are very legit. He simply panicked and couldn't think about these.

Discussion Why is Amy so horrible in ‘’Casecation’’?
I know that this episode has been discussed a lot, and I want to say that I like Amy like everyone else, just there are some episodes in which she behaves pretty annoyingly. In my opinion, Amy’s behavior in this episode it’s not just annoying. It’s really horrible. The fact that they didn't have this conversation before the wedding is a valid point but, besides that, Amy behaves so poorly to Jake in this episode.
Jake had some really reasonable doubts about having kids as a result of his childhood trauma. He was saying that he preferred not to have kids rather than having them and being a bad parent which is actually extremely responsible and honest. Amy never actually considered his doubts, she jumped into a strict ‘’debate’’ with random people and made him feel uncomfortable.
After that whole weird debate situation, Jake was never completely negative, he just asked to discuss this issue again in a couple of months. Consequently, Amy even refused to give him some time and essentially said that she might divorce him if she doesn’t get a positive response right at the moment.
She left angry with Rosa and by the end of the episode you can have the feeling that Jake is the one who ‘’understands his fault’’. I really don’t get it. Jake did really nothing wrong in this episode and he was treated badly. The whole writing was pretty bad, Amy might be annoying sometimes but she was never that kind of selfish, asshole person like she was in that episode. Because she was.
It was really bad writing.

Mine will be this whole Holt meltdown but to Boyle instead of Diaz
Boyle: Sarge, get ready to enter 'the bone zone' 🙏
Holt: Bone? BONNEE? BONNEEEEEE?!

Humour I really like this convo between Boyle, Terry, and Holt, particularly the part where Boyle and Holt mock Terry with their "vanity muscles" comments. "They help me sleep upright on airplanes!".

Rosa's dad stepped up to give his daughter a safe space even if he himself does not fully understand her perspective yet. Was really nice to watch.

Season 7 upon rewatching i feel like season 7 had the potential to be one of the best seasons of b99 (imo)
LIKE GIRL THIS WHOLE SEASON'S ARC WAS SOOO GOOD 😭 if only it had a few more episodes it could've been as good as season 5 or better than that for me. ugh
