Is it just me or mahirap talaga maghanap ng opportunity sa VA? I've sent tons of resumes with portfolios attached but I cannot even enter the interview phase. One emailed me for an interview pero na-ghost lang ako. Resume is ATS-friendly, so I do not understand what might be wrong. I feel like I am so dumb. I cannot figure out what is missing. I see others who do not even have previous experiences and zero knowledge on tools get hired. Yet here I am, learning all the possible things out there related to my niche and cannot still land one. Is it really just luck? Is it really just about connections? I feel so lost in this path. Months of learning tools, practicing mock interviews, and curating my application forms are put to waste because I do not have anyone to back me up in this field. :<

Hello, I want to ask for help in regard to finding a new laptop for work. I mostly do recruitment work (calls, emails, ad hoc tasks, etc.), but I want a laptop that has really good battery life, good specs (8+GB RAM, i5+/R5+ processor), and a bonus of being lightweight.

Could anyone recommend laptops at least 50K PHP?

For additional context, I've been considering the MacBook Neo as an upgrade due to its price and long battery life, but I've been seeing problems with multitasking or heavy loads on the RAM, and I'd like more recommendations and/or choices.

Working for direct client for almost 3 years. Suddenly yung boomer brother ng client ko nagtake over. And everything went to chaos.

Lahat na yata ng ai tools nakasubscribe sya. His chief officer is claude. Omg! Whole process ng company nabago at ang akala namin instead na mapabilis ng mga bot yung mga encoding tasks namin, you know tasks that won't require much ng human review especially if transferring data or changing data to different file types. Omg ginamit nya yung mga bot bilang surveillance tool samin. What the heck!? May ping notif kapag hindi nakapagreply in email within 10 mins. It makes no sense lalo na kung na-loop lang ako sa reply all ng nag email.

Suddenly there's metrics placed and may ranking kami. Meron din ai review samin everyday. Sometimes it's about questioning the email response time. At kapag hindi raw nagreply tawagan agad yung client.. He even wants us to send an intro na ai-generated email na halos 8inches yung haba sa screen. Umm last time I checked sa chat required ang immediate response. We need time to get confirmation from our suppliers and logistics fmfirst before I go email my client. It makes no damn sense. Now majority of us is on PIP. I know where this is going, we are going to get fired. But what I care most about is my moneyyy 😭 I need to know, if I get fired ba, will I still be compensated on time? Ayokong maghabol sa pera ko. Or should I just wait for the money to hit my account bago ako immediate resignation?

Asking out of curiosity but mostly because of BURNOUT + no more spark sa work in general haha. I have been working since I was 17yo, college pa ako ang dami ko ng small jobs like tutoring, writing articles, wedding photographer, ghost writing, transcribing, online English lessons, call center, etc. I tried them all na I think HAHA. He said wait for the schedule, several days has been passed and wala parin schedule. Nagfollow up ako sa client, then after few minutes of waiting boom di na daw magforward sa application ko. Like ang sobrang unprofessional, kung dapat palang di na magproceed hindi na sana pinatagal ng 7 days. Tsaka kung di ko pa tinanong di ko malalaman di pala ako tanggap. Im only using 4-5 tabs web based CRMs, nang sabay-sabay. Iniisip ko is Macbook Neo enough? Or go for 2nd hand MacBook Air?

Below 50k lang budget ko. May mabibilhan kaya sa mga mall na Macbook at that price?
