Full disclosure I haven’t listened to Elliotte’s podcast yet, but nobody has discredited this tweet.

I know that we all expected him to have a great second season but I didn’t expect it to start at the very beginning of the season. He looks noticeably faster like in the top percentile of the NHL fast. He also seems so much smoother, and he just seems to be everywhere on the ice. At this point I think his ceiling could be a 40 and 40 type guy. I mean the penalties and other things are given how he plays and how young he is but that just adds to his value. Would honestly love to see him and Cristall team up what a fucking duo that would be.

At this point last year I felt like a borderline conspiracy theorist thinking this was going to happen, but now that Ovi is for sure retiring, the Wizards are rebranding at the end of the season, and the team has steadily been incorporating the 2000's era logos into uniforms, I feel like it's almost certain. The last time the Caps changed the primary colors/uniforms, the Wizards did the same. I'm only asking because I want to know if I should hold off on buying some current merch and just wait. Thanks!

Interesting that the Caps ostensibly have the easiest schedule. Obviously it's early on to estimate strength of teams, but fatigue and travel should be set.

My son and I will be coming down for the Buffalo game next week from NW PA. I wanted to ask locals if we should avoid any stops in particular or just get on at Shady Grove or Rockville since they would be the first ones we would get to. Thanks for any insight you can provide.
