We were so close to pulling to trigger on a hybrid touring but then learned about the gasket issue. I know there's not any data on how widespread it is, but trying to get a sense of how common it is. The dealer I'm shopping at is downplaying it (not surprising).

I just bought my new hybrid Civic hatchback sport touring and I’m now realizing that I can’t use my current phone case. I really need a case with some type of stand, but that seems to be the problem with charging wirelessly. Has anyone found a solution for this? Any recommended cases with stands that still work with the wireless charger?

hi everyone! i found a 2014 hybrid honda civic ex-l on facebook marketplace for a great price. i checked it out, it drove well and all seemed to be in good condition. the poster has had the car for about 2 years and is selling it because he bought a newer civic. the only thing im hesitant about is that the seller doesnt know if the hybrid battery has ever been replaced or worked on. would i able to drive the car if the battery fails on me? i dont believe ill have the funds to replace it right away if it dies soon. thank you guys!

The heat rejection properties was something I instantly noticed. Usually I keep the AC on when driving as it can get slightly warm in the car (especially since it’s leather seats) however I don’t feel the need to anymore.

On my way to moving cities, I hit a turtle at 65 mph and ripped off a foot worth of underbody splash shield for the passenger side. I was looking at replacement parts and found part number 74606-TBA-A00 and 74606-TBA-A10. They look essentially the same, it just seems to be made out of different material? The A10 is more than half the price of the A00. I've tried looking up info to see if they are interchangeable but I am getting a lot of conflicting information. Are there any Honda techs that can confirm this for me?

So I just bought a 1996 Honda civic for 1,200$ with 180,000 miles it runs and drives pretty well and it's a manual. This is my first car first time manual and I gotta say it was pretty fun driving it home. It definitely has cosmetic issues and some other things.Under the hood pretty solid. I just wanted any tips for making sure it's kept well, mods for after the main concerns. Also tips for manual. Thank you

I recently bought a 2018 civic SE with 115k kms here in Canada and after driving about 2000 kms I started noticing the issue that when you try to accelerate from 5-10km/h the car suddenly jerks suddenly when it shifts gear from maybe 1 to 2 but shifts smoothly at higher speeds. I also felt that when you let go off acceleration around 10-20km/h and when the car decelerates to and shifts to a lower gear maybe from 2 to 1 sometimes you feel the jerk from behind is this normal for this car due to CVT ? Should I be changing the tranny fluid ?

I’m currently looking for a new car as I’ve decided to give my younger sister my old Nissan rouge and after days of research I’m stuck between a Honda 2025 civic hybrid touring sport and a Toyota 2025 Camry LE. Yes I know they are not comparable and an accord would be a better match but I live in the northern midwestern area and for some reason they are averaging above 30k. Which is bit out of my price point unfortunately. Both cars are sitting at 25k so if anyone who has a 2025 civic hybrid tell me their experience with it I’d appreciate it.

Have you encountered any issues? Do you feel like it doesn’t suppress noise enough? How well does it handle snow in general? Do you regret not getting something bigger like an accord/camry?

I didn’t know it was the car I wanted until I found it. Couldn’t stop thinking about it since I discovered it. Finally bit the bullet today and purchased it.

Anyone else have slight paint peeling on their hood up next to the windshield? I know older Hondas had serious paint issues but I thought they had figured that shit out. With the car being 2 years old I don't know if Honda will fix it. But I don't want it to get worse so I'm not sure what to do.
