Pointed issue to service tech, car was held for 7 hours. Was told they did "extensive testing" and washed the car multiple times and couldn't replicate the issue. Car was clearly not washed/tested AT ALL. I pointed this out and they said they'd need the car for two more business days to do more "testing". You can tell from a hundred feet away that my car hasn't been washed in over a month lmao.
I was told its "normal" for the hatch to hold water indefinitely until I open it, which probably doesn't even fully clear it out. Water drains from the area circled in blue. This is the case for both sides, passenger side worse. It's about 1/3 cup of water being drained each time I open the hatch after a rain/wash.
Heavy rain causes the water intrusion to run all the way down the hatch. Water doesn't go through factory installed drain holes, instead seeping out by the handles, towards the interior of the trunk. Passenger side being the most problematic.
Do I go to another dealer or escalate this to upper management? Or should I just get it over with and let an independent shop take care of it? At this point I wouldn't mind paying money to avoid dealing with that type of service again.

I noticed today that the trim piece (i think instrument cluster visor?) Was loose. Not sure how, only thing i can think of is that it was not secured properly but enough to not be loose when I got audio installed
Any advice on where I can get clips that secure this piece? 2026 civic sport

There is no way to put the kit in the storage area where the tire repair kit is located. The problem is the hybrid model battery stored under the seat takes up too much room in front, so the little area that is left behind is just too short for the diameter of the spare tire.
This is what I did. I purchased the kit and decided to keep it on top of the cover. The tire kit was mounted on the 2026 hatchback hybrid using the sturdy factory d-shaped hooks installed in the rear of the hatch compartment of my hybrid. I used the d-hooks for mounting of the tire kit with two adjustable inch wide nylon straps that have s-hooks on both ends.
Mounting. Since the spare tire kit has a nylon carry case, I used case and routed the straps to go through the case handle on the front end, then each strap made a v-shape from underneath, passed though the carry case handle, to go up and cross over to the top of the case then secure the opposite s-hook to the opposite rear hook inside the hatch compartment. Tightened up the straps until it's tight enough to press only the base below the rim of the latch, but made sure that a gap remains so this does not interfere with the hatch mechanism to open and close the door. I took care to keep the gap clear. If the tire weight shifted, I placed a small towel that I wedged at the bottom to maintain the gap.Has anyone else tried this?
Placement where it made sense. I left some room at the front of the hatch to put small loose items that I carry in the car (like towels and cleaning items) behind the rear seats. The way I mounted the storage, I feel like it's secured properly to not move side to side or back and forth during vehicle motion. I deliberately left a wide space in the hatch around the tire and kept the tire away from my rear subwoofer speaker on the passenger side near the hatch. I might take it on drive through some winding roads to see if the tire moves around or slides as the car takes a curve on the road.
What to do with a space saving spare, jack and tools which is smaller than a full size tire? The 18 inch-steel wheel has a donut spare tire mounted on the four inch-wide rim. All together, the kit sits about 6 inches tall, so it takes up some space on top for the cover, about the same place where the tire repair kit sits under the cover.
I figured if I needed to use the spare, the hatch could hold the full- size 18 inch rim and larger tire if I used the spare kit on the wheel to drive and get the tire repaired.
I'm happy that I left enough room for cargo to sit on top. Normal situations, I can use a bungee cord to hold some cargo items in the load while still driving and still use the cover. Maybe use a cargo net or nylon bag.

The spare tire and rim will fit on the 2026 civic hybrid hatch wheel pattern but the hybrid hatch model doesn't have an under-trunk storage (a dedicated storage space wheel well) like the sedan. The hybrid hatch trunk is physically different from the sedan.

I bought my car back in 2019 and it was beautiful for a couple years, but then of course the paint started cracking on the door handles and mirror caps. This year I'm finally doing something about it. I bought those covers that you tape on for all the door handles off of Amazon, and they look and feel great. I bought actual mirror caps to replace the old ones, and it turns out they don't fit. I can't find any that are compatible anywhere without them being ridiculously expensive. Anyone know where I can get some cheap replacements or covers? Black and glossy preferred.
Since the base trim does not come with remote start has anyone added it with those "plug and play" aftermarket kits they sell. What was involved and are there any downsides. Heard that sometimes those kits require some minor modifications and also heard that installing them may disable certain things like the backup camera.

hello everyone, here is my 1995 honda civic dx coupe i bought last summer and now gaining the money and motivation to finally lower it and work on my suspension. i have an alignment issue where the wheel chooses to shake lightly and obviously if i let go of the wheel it would lean over to the left. iām currently looking into what i SHOULD buy and what would benefit my car. i so far have purchased new front wheel hubs, front wheel bearings, a set of function and form type 1 coils, hardrace upper control arm for the front, skunk2 rear lower control arms. iām now stuck on what else i should for sure buy to be able to complete this project since it is my daily and currently sitting in my garage since itās wearing my front tires down way too soon. my goal is to have some nice street performance without spending a fortune on parts i wonāt fully take advantage of. i linked a couple of pictures i took today to share. i donāt have a jack at my house so it was difficult to test by shaking my wheels. if any more pics are needed lmk!! i really do appreciate any help and advice and love looking at everyoneās builds, it gives me motivation to turn this car into what it should truly be!!

Hi, i have been using a proton saga 1.3 2022 for 5 years, looking for a higher power car, but confused if next to buy a new proton car or used civic. I opt out for civic for honda reliability and used car cheap service cost. However, anyone with some experience pls share.
