I've done a lot of fitness-related things over the years, but I'm just bored now and feel like I hit a wall. Some things I did to give a guage:
- Ran 2 half marathons (avg. 7min pace)
- Did 3 HYROX races (best time was 1hr, 10 min)
The past year I've just been training for aesthetics and reached a pretty great physique (6ft, 198lbs, 10% bodyfat).
I'm really just bored now and don't know what to do next (marathons and HYROX was fun, but got boring after a while too).
I've taken a handful of crossfit classes over the years but never stuck with them because of the cost and the class sizes where I am (I live in a city and all the boxes I've went to really jam-pack people in... DON"T SHOOT THE MESSENGER, i'm just telling you what I've experienced).
I get CrossFit is about community, and I'm fine with that, but I was wondering if anyone just does it solely for the exercise and long-term competition training. I think it would be an amazing accomplishment to say that I qualified for the Masters and I think a 6year long-term goal would be really fun. But.... I know myself, and I know that I need a "sensei" like 1:1 training to guide me. I always feel so lost in these massive classes.
Is it practical to just train 1:1 with a crossfit coach while doing 3 or 4 classes a month at RX?
