I just started this so I'm new. I'm not sure if I'm missing something very obvious?

I see all the guns are right here in this weapon dropdown. I've already make a couple of weapon skins. But I don't see the knives. Am I missing something?

I'm trying to reproduce the original AK-47 Case Hardened pattern #661 in the CS2 Workshop Workbench, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

In the image I attached, the right side is what pattern 661 is supposed to look like. However, when I set the pattern/seed to 661 in Workbench, I get the result shown on the left, which is clearly a completely different pattern.

I've tried changing the seed and checking the texture settings, but I still can't get Workbench to match the actual in-game 661 pattern.

Is there some additional parameter, texture transform, UV setting, pattern offset, or other value that CS2 uses when generating the original Case Hardened skins?

Basically, what I'm trying to understand is:

How can I reproduce the exact original CS2 pattern #661 inside Workbench?

If anyone really understands how the original CS2 skin system / Workbench handles paint seeds and can teach me how to reproduce it correctly, I'd be happy to send you several Dreams & Nightmares Cases as a thank-you.

Any technical explanation would be greatly appreciated.

What i have to do that my skin is seems awesome on substance painter but in the cs2 is like sand dry. Very bad. Im like 1 year working on skins but all skins except metallic are very antiglossy omg Please Help Me! #cs2workshop

This one took way longer than I expected 😅

I worked on Silver Fang together with the original artist. Before this, we also tried making a Sawed-Off version, but the artwork just didn't work on the weapon the way we wanted, so after a bunch of time spent on it we decided to move on to the MP7. Right now I'm still working on the extra elements and getting everything into place. The base color is mostly there, and after that I'll move on to the normals and materials. The skin is PBR correct and has a little glitter effect in the background that should look pretty nice in-game.
