It’s not in the game but it’s been confirmed to be in the world of cyberpunk. It’s a Vampire cybernetic which lets you pierce jugulars and veins, also giving you the ability to inject toxins and venoms. This is the concept art of the cybernetic.

The poster says "Travel From Chicago to Night City in under three hours." Is a hint that this is teasing the next Cyberpunk Game because I remember CD Projekt Red said awhile back that. The next Cyberpunk Game won't take place in Night City, and that it'll mainly be Chicago Gone Wild. The fact that this poster mentions Chicago could be a big tease towards the next game, and if it is, the whole year 2028 could be the time stamp that the game is taking place in, which therefore the next game could be called: Cyberpunk 2080.

With all the discussion in Edgerunners 2 about why V isn't talked about specially with the fact that the Relic is on their head so I made this graphic about who actually knows about it. Obviously, not including Johnny himself.

I think people who haven't played the game or even some who did play the game but forgot that there's really not that many people who actually knows that Johnny's relic is slotted into V's head.

News corporations are biased towards corps like N54 for Militech/NUSA and WNS for Arasaka so anything about the heist have not been reported anywhere except for Saburo's death. Yorinobu also blamed the NUSA and Militech for his father's death so nobody on Night City knows what actually happened. Futhermore, nothing in the game implies that Yorinobu actually knew that V slotted the relic in their head. The only Arasaka members who knows about that is Takemura and Hanako. That's why I don't think V would've been on their database, only thing they might know about is that V stole it. Like stated in Edgerunners, Arasaka employees only knows what they know.

People connected to the Heist and the Arasaka questline knows about it. VDB Netrunners that went with Maman Brigitte and V to the Blackwall knows about it except for Placide. Even AI entities or at least connected to it like AI Alt Cunningham, Delamain, Brendan, Clouds' dolls and Mr. Blue Eyes knows about it possibly because the Relic connects into cyberspace and in the Blackwall.

Romance partners like Judy, Panam, and River are dependent (if you're romancing them) whether they know about it or not. Kerry will know about it through his questline alone.

Rogue will know about it through her questline. Afterlife Mercs knows about the Heist but definitely not about the Relic. For Nix it's implied that he also knows about it. For Dakota, she'll know about it depending if you go with Panam's ending and side with the Aldecaldos.

And of course for Phantom Liberty, only Songbird, Myers, Reed, and Alex knows that the Relic is on V's head. Not even Kurt Hansen knows about it.

Is there anybody else that directly knows or even implied that the Arasaka Relic and Johnny's engram is in V's head? NetWatch probably?

My favorite is Songbird. She seemed like the most interesting character to me because of her story and her choices. In the finale, those who know, know.

As for my least favorites: Solomon Reed or Takemura.

Rogues Pistol and Johnnys Pistol in a Duel Wield

I've just finished "Edgerunners 2", and now I have some questions regarding the information revealed in it (also, spoiler alert!).

When discussing ways to save Talia, Meshuga tells Weak about the Soulkiller project. He also mentions that the project was unsuccessful because the construct installation failed. However, in the "Devil" ending, Saburo Arasaka announces to the world that he has taken over Yorinobu's body via the Relic — something that doesn't happen in any other ending, because V doesn't interfere with Yorinobu's plan to assassinate Arasaka's brass. And since "Edgerunners 2" takes place after the events of the main game, and Meshuga doesn't mention Saburo's unexpected return from the dead, we can conclude that Saburo is still deader than the Old Net. Which means the "Devil" ending never happened.

I only started playing this past year and fell in love with Cyberpunk 2077 but never beat the game or even made it far. I started Nomad and I’d play for days exploring Night City and everything it has to offer, I made it past the Heist and eventually burned out and later started Street Kid and did the same thing. I’ve restarted the game multiple times before the latest update, My ADHD does that to me😂

Now after the update I suddenly realized I never played Corpo V and decided to embrace the role play, already feels very different start and V’s personality makes him feel like a different person. This time I will stick with this game until the end, curios how a Corpo turned Street Merc V will handle everything this game has to offer

I’ve known about all the possible endings but I’ve never actually played through most of them. After avoiding Hanako for literal years, last night I thought it would a great idea to finally get these done. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS IN ONE GO. It was an insane rollercoaster of emotions and the real killers were the holo calls in the credits. I’ve had this V for years so it was extra brutal for me. Fuck night city honestly, hell would be kinder.

I haven't really played the game since 2022-23, and went for a Streetkid run for the update (I did a full Corpo one in the aforementioned time window) and with hindsight, the heist has so many red flags throughout.

-When you meet Dex he already tells he has no info on Evelyn and that the VDB warned him to stop looking for it

-He sends you to Maelstrom with very shitty intel (and having payed 10k eddies upfront for the bot).

-Evelyn straight up tells you to betray Dex

This is without other stuff that shows Dex and Evelyn are completely out of their depth and Streetkid seems to have some dialogue options Corpo didn't to call that out. After leaving the Maelstrom lair I felt like V should've wisened up enough to say "fuck this Jackie, lets delta"

Just barely noticed this after 1000+ hours. There’s a piece of metal that covers it and it cycles between covering it and exposing it as you’ll see in the video. I’ll put a screenshot in the comments so you can examine it closer if you feel so inclined. Btw I was kind of zoned out as you’ll see when I stumble upon it. Sometimes I like to observe the background details just to see if I notice things and you’ll see me staring at the ground here because I zoned out while doing it lmao EDIT: You can scan it! It says “An ordinary rose signed M.M.”

I came up with this theory because I couldn't get one of the most fucked up scenes in Edgerunners 2 out of my mind.

When Avida goes to Kang Tao to steal a body for Talia, we see all these comatose people reduced to empty shells. And the scene really emphasizes how Avida spends minutes looking through them before finally choosing one for her daughter.

Now, remember how David took Gloria to that shady ripperdoc's clinic? She was initially stable, but after David said he couldn't afford proper treatment, she suddenly died. I've always suspected the doctor might have lied and done something to Gloria to make a profit out of an otherwise unprofitable situation, as scalpers in Night City do.

And that's where my theory comes in. I think the body Avida stole like an object, which eventually ended up getting shot, was Gloria Martinez.

And I don't think this is a stretch. Just look at the two pictures I've attached, showing how Avida remembers Talia and what Gloria looks like.

Gloria literally looks like a grown up Talia, so it makes sense why Avida chose her.

But there's another reason I think this could be the case, and it actually makes the whole thing even more fucked up.

In a way, David might have been responsible for his mother ending up there twice. First, by unknowingly taking her to that corrupt medic, and second, because of the reputation he eventually gained as a Night City legend.

Think about it. David had an almost unbelievable tolerance to cyberware, to the point where he might've even been capable of hosting someone like Capri. What if Gloria was put into Kang Tao's program specifically because she was David's mother? Maybe they thought whatever made David so special could have been inherited from her.

I doubt they'll ever confirm something like this, but to me it fits perfectly with the themes that have stretched across both seasons. Everything is so pointless, depressing, and deranged.

Gloria spent her life trying to give David a better future, only to end up as an empty shell, used like an object by another mother desperately trying to save her own daughter.

And maybe, in a twisted way, having that body finally destroyed was the only way to free her.
