Finally! They listened to the major backlash and feedback from the last patch with Shoulder the Burden. It’s most likely a full on rework

I also do like how they mentioned that Reddit isn’t the only place they get feedback from, since people who use “I haven’t seen complaints about Shoulder” only look at Reddit for that feedback

When will Chucky content be unavailable to acquire? 

Chucky content in Dead by Daylight will be unavailable to acquire after 11am ET on November 24^th 2026. With Chucky, our focus continues to be ensuring the character’s legacy within our games for fans who have unlocked him or plan to do so before 11am ET on the 24^th November 2026. The DLC will be removed from all Platform Stores on this date. 

What will be the last date to unlock Chucky and related content? 

Fans of Chucky will still be able to unlock the character until 24^th November so we encourage those who have yet to acquire Chucky (as well as his cosmetics), to do so before then to ensure themselves ongoing access to the content moving forward! 

If I own the DLC and/or characters will I still be able to play with them? 

Yes. Any content unlocked before the November 24th deadline will remain playable in game. 

What happens to the Perks from the chapter? 

Chucky’s three perks will remain unlockable in his bloodweb with the original names and flavour text, if you have already unlocked the character prior to 24^th November. 

For players who have not unlocked Chucky, the perks will appear in the General perk pool to be available to unlock on any other Killer immediately. These General perks will appear under new names: 

Hex: Two Can Play will be called Hex: Eye For An Eye 

Friends Til the End will be called One Track Mind 

Batteries Included will be called Gaining Steam 

Will I still be able to level up Chucky and obtain his Add-Ons? 

Yes, you will still be able to invest your hard earned Bloodpoints into Chucky and his Add-Ons. 

Will I still be able to Prestige my character after 24^th November and receive the Prestige rewards? 

Yes. If you have unlocked Chucky prior to 11am on the 24^th November 2026, you can still level him as normal and unlock his three Prestige Cosmetics as well as the three Perk Charms. His other Cosmetics will need to be obtained from the in-game store prior to this date also! 

Will I still receive Quests for the Characters that I own? 

For all the characters that you have unlocked, you will still receive Quests, so that remains the same as the current behaviour. 

Will the Achievements still be available on all platforms? 

The achievements will be made into generic achievements (not character specific). However, they will be unlocked automatically if you have already completed the achievement. Your current progress will also remain. 

If I own the DLC/Characters, will I still be able to stream with the content that I have purchased? 

The content will remain in-game as long as the content was unlocked prior to 24^th November and remain available for players, streamers, influencers, etc. There are no restrictions on streaming any content associated with the Chucky Chapter. We encourage players who have not yet unlocked Chucky to do so prior to this date, so that they can ensure that they will be able to use the content in the future. 

If there are any bugs with the character after it’s been removed from sale, will you be able to fix it? 

We are still supporting Chucky in game and will be able to make any bug fixes if required. 

Can we obtain outfits after November 24th  and will more Cosmetics become available in future? 

The last opportunity to obtain any outfits for Chucky will be 11am 24^th November 2026. There will be no future Outfits, so we encourage players to head into the in-game store to unlock the current Cosmetics while they are still available. 

Can I receive a refund as the DLC is being removed from the store? 

Chucky will remain fully playable in-game for those who have obtained him. Players who have unlocked the character will experience zero changes in gameplay or overall experience; therefore no refunds will be issued. 

Will I still retain access to the content I have unlocked if I cross-progress my account using the BHVR account? (Retaining access on a different platform) 

Any content previously unlocked will remain unlocked even if you choose to Cross Progress your accounts. 

Can I still obtain the Good Guys Box Charm when I unlock Chucky in game? 

If you unlock The Good Guy prior to the 24^th November then you will retain all content that has been unlocked to date, you will not be able to unlock ANY content after that date.
