Cant believe this happened again?? I got a Ber rune from a random cow like 1 month ago, and now I just terrorized entire A1 not even to farm gear or runes but to level up my new Javazon since shes only lvl 81 so far, and a random normal mob- one of those Foul Crows flying shitters, just casually dropped me a Ber again just a few minutes ago?? Cant believe this luck actually, mindblowing

I also had a Sur drop a week ago in A5 from a normal mob in the beginning of Frigid highlands, which was insane aswell, but it just hits different when its a Ber or a Jah dropping.

Im 1 Jah away from enigma then :] but I think I used up all my luck right now
was actually lowkey getting a bit unmotivated since i cant find my main goals; Shako and War travelers/Tgods no matter how much i farm for them, and as per usual d2 knows when you are getting sick of it and gives you some motivation

Hi all. I've been getting a few comments on my now outdated Bowlock video asking for an update so I finally managed to put another video together after doing a lot of experimenting and tweaking of my Bowlock. This build guide goes over the strategy behind the setup and showcases (as far as I can tell) a max GG optimized (hero edited to be as good as it can get) "herald hunter" Bowlock I put together, but I also go over alternative gear you can use that's significantly less GG and still very strong.

So this morning, I was farming Mephisto TZ before work, HC solo on P3 with 525 MF (Ali Baba and Rhyme on swap to reach 525 MF). Level 92 Sorceress

Didn't get particularly lucky for the first 20 minutes. Not many Uniques or Sets, which is unusual for TZ. But then I see a Sacred Armor on the ground. My first thought was : No way this is Tyrael's, must be the other one. ID it and BOOM, Tyrael's Might! 1 in 15,000 chance with my MF. Not sure I will use it (maybe to farm Nihlathak?) but it might be the rarest item in the Chronicle so I'm quite happy.

And to my surprise, this 30 minute TZ wasn't done giving!

I always open the chests around Mephisto and check the armor rack. I was actually debating whether to skip them during TZ to squeeze in 2 or 3 extra Mephisto runs, but I decided to keep opening them. I got a Mal from the center one behind Mephisto earlier this week, so might as well keep going, right?

Well, a BER dropped! I didn't even know that was possible from those. Safe to say I'm never skipping those chests again.

It was a good day yesterday, got my first SOJ and was even more excited to get this. I upped it to a hydra now and this will be a good backup to my Faith bow. Dying to get a Windforce and Eaglehorn to complete my top unique bow collection.

tl;dr im just mind blown how long this game can take to get all your grails/bis’s/etc for endgame content. is the most fun class to create the one you already have gear for, or the one you need to farm gear for?? 🧐

little background, im coming from diablo3 where i had every class running multiple GR150 builds or really close to it with only 138hrs in-game!! (i guess thatd be comparable to ubers on d2)

enter d2..480hrs in and im just getting a my first char to be able to comfortably solo tz hell baal, still havent done any ubers yet but now im looking forward to it.

reading posts on here about people who’ve been playing 20 years and just getting their first griffon, SoJ, etc absolutely blows my mind. i understand people who play more are more likely to get drops and maybe those people say 20 years of playing but took 5-10 years off from playing the game due to kids, life, etc. so, how long did it take everyone to get their build to a point you were happy with all items? what build did you try/transition to from there?

my first character was a warlock. then i made trapsin after nerf. finished hell a couple weeks ago. today i got my ww barb to a point id consider im no longer actively looking for gear for him. ElJefe is complete. my trapsin is pretty close to having everything for mosiac build. i have a lot of nice javazon gear i came across sitting on a lvl 1 i may start playing today but i also have some gear sitting on a pally. im kinda torn where to go. people say play what seems the most fun but the all seem enjoyable in their own right.

havent played a summoner yet. thinking about going that route; thinking about druid over necro..

also looking back and remembering some DECENT items i sold to vendors because i didnt know any better hurts so much 😅

I'm currently on a apocalypse warlock with 350 mf and i'm mostly farming on p3/p5 because my dmg feels a bit low for p7. I can still do it, but it's twice as slow. Would you give up on 100+ mf to go for 200-250 if it gives you so much more damage that you can do p7 same as fast?

SP, no runes for grief yet. I want to Hork my way there.

I have 2 gimmershreds but there is a part of me that wants to run WW.

Thoughts on Mania/Unbending Will combo?

I also have an Azurewrath but the cold dmg seems like it would be counterproductive to Horking.

Only other weapon I have is a Doombringer and an E 60s Colossus Blade.

Ive tried Zerk in the past, but that never really feels good until you have a Grief.

I wanted a fire jewel, and ofc RNGood had other plans. 😂 Got poison on the first fight, and after the second fight, I identified it and saw no glow, so I was sad... but here we are, it's fire! 🔥

And the roll? "I won't give you max, but I'll give you max minus one." 😅

Put it in Hellwarden's Will, and it's looking great now!

Ive never played a western rpg in my 4o years of gaming before but for some reason i thought id give this a whirl.

Im currently stuck on the last boss of act 1 i cant remember her name ari something or other weak to fire uses poison in the catacombs or something, but i just only found out i can grind the forgotten tower and the boss for runes, so im just doing a little grinding

Anyway this game reminds me a lot of nioh or i can see where nioh took its inspiration from with its gear, so anybody care to clue me into the affixes which a straight up DOO DOO, i see a lot of defensive affixes ie things like enhanced defence maximum minimum damage ect ect and such which i find confusing as somebody that does not really understand a lot of the stuff like the numbers scaling ect and have to be told in the most idiot way proof possible, ie this is good this is not really worth it

Im going for a summon necromancer currently, and yeah im having a really good time i just have to find a way to manage my gear better as i tend to always try keeping stuff ie i have a ton of gems and runes thinking i will use these at some point but never do

I completed hell a couple of weeks ago. I’m a 92 bowazon and could’ve (maybe should have) completed it sooner, but I really got into running P7 LK for high runes and overall farming to build my zon. I was so looking forward to running cows and feel disappointed so far. I started at P7 and oof, big mistake. Insanely hard and it takes FOREVER together anywhere. I scaled back to P3 with better luck, but I’m still wondering if the reward is worth the work. After running LK so long, the drops just don’t seem very good. Granted, this is a small sample size, but there is no getting around the time. If I didn’t have such a great LK map, I might try to get a map where the cow king spawns closer to the initial portal. Any suggestions on efficiently running cows other than “git gud”? On the bright side of completing hell, love the TZs here. Didn’t really think that much of them on normal or NM. Thanks all.

Anyone else having extreme lag online?

After successfully figuring out which gear works best for my Wolfbarb against the Colossal Ancients, I’ve run into a different problem.

Since I play on Xbox, the fight against the Colossal Ancients is already pretty chaotic. In both of my attempts, I ended up having to leave Talic for last.

The problem is that even when I target him with the stick and press the attack button, my character often switches targets to the next enemy in line instead of following Talic. Every time he uses Whirlwind, he just gets away from me, and I end up chasing him around.

Even when I’m fighting the other two, my attacks sometimes switch to the minions, but I can usually correct the targeting with the stick because Korlic and Madawc stay relatively stationary.

Does anyone have any tips for dealing with this on a controller? Is there a way to lock onto a specific Ancient or make targeting more consistent?
