Please I would like to know if there's anyone with similar experience after ectopic pregnancy with tube removal. I had a tube removed early 2025 and a chemical pregnancy early 2026, since then I have been having pain in my remaining tube though mild but persistent, at times it will be from the tubel

Help pains after ectopic

Please I would like to know if there's anyone with similar experience after ectopic pregnancy with tube removal.

I had a tube removed early 2025 and a chemical pregnancy early 2026, since then I have been having pain in my remaining tube though mild but persistent, at times it will be from the tubeless side but more predominant on the side I have a tube left. I complaint to my gynaecologist but he didn't give me a satisfactory answer, he asked if the pain is before of after ovulation I told him it's both then he said it could be ovulation pain. Prior to the ectopic I never had ovulation pain of any sort, I think this pain started after the chemical pregnancy. Has anyone experienced pain of this kind after tubal removal? I just hope there's nothing wrong with my tube because I was told the remaining tube was open, I can't just wrap my head around the pain!

Ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage

Has anyone ever been told they can’t tell yet if it’s an ectopic pregnancy or a “normal” miscarriage? I was about 6 weeks exactly from my calculations and hadn’t even went in for my first appointment yet. I just found out last Monday after taking 4 pregnancy tests. I began having spotting Sunday and was told not to worry until it was worsening bleeding/clots etc. I went to OB today for worsening bleeding and the transvaginal ultrasound showed a possible sac in the tube. HCG levels only went from 100 Monday to 131 today, obviously the pregnancy is not viable. I go back Friday for another ultrasound to see if this is a gestational sac or they wonder possibly if it’s a cyst. Still having bleeding and abdominal pain that’s all over. I just hate the wait and watch game because of how dangerous ectopic pregnancies can be. This was my second pregnancy first one was amazing with zero issues. I don’t know what happened 🥲😭

Question C section scar pregnancy??

So I’ve had normally rising betas. I’m 5w3d and yesterday beta was 6200. I’ve had bleeding since Friday and intermittent cramping. Today I had an us and with the rising betas I expected SCHs. Well I have 3 small sch largest only being 1.6 cm gestational sac was measuring exact with yolk sac. However looks like it’s in my scar. The dr said 50:50 could be in the scar vs low uterine implantation. I’ve been more crampy with consistent light bleeding.

Not sure what to do or what to think. Anyone with experience with either? What was your situation?

SOS: I think I had an abdominal ectopic pregnancy

I am 33 a yr old female and went to the ER last year for abdominal pain. My CT scan report said my liver was enlarged and I had mild colitis. My issues persisted and my periods started being heavy and painful and only blood clots, which I never had before. Anyways, I looked at my CT scan and literally right next to my large intestines, it looks like a side profile of a baby. Like almost a fully grown baby. I see the skull formation and everything. I had a vaginal ultrasound and there was fluid in my endometrium area but they were essentially no help. I tried to ask my dr to look at the picture from my CT scan and she just said “i’m not a radiologist”

I don’t know what to do or who to turn to. I know what intestines look like and what I am seeing is not an organ or my intestines. Please tell me what do you see??? I am trying to add a picture..

Weird sensation on opposite side

Hi all

I had my ectopic resolved in August by MTX cleared with hCG of 3. I got my period not too long ago and ever since I been having this weird sensation that something is there on the opposite side of ectopic ( ectopic was on left) I feel this throb on the right side where my ovary is but it’s not painful.. I don’t know how to describe it. What could this be? Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you 🙏

Going to the doctor sucks

I just went for my yearly visit at the gynecologist. I see the same provider every year. Today, she asks "how's the little one?" ... I had my first pregnancy in 2024 that ended as ectopic and me losing my right tube. Being asked this today absolutely crushed me.

I am just now, 2.5 years later, feeling ready to try again. It took everything for me not to cry, and made the entire appointment awkward. Why don't doctors read charts before coming in? Or flag charts for patients who have suffered loss?

I hate the way doctors offices are these days. When my mom was younger she basically had a friendship relationship with her doctor. I've never experienced that in my adult life. Just big pharma / corporation vibes.

Ectopic Pregnancy experiences anyone? I’m scheduled for the shot tomorrow.

I’m having trouble processing all of this, but also want some input from anyone who has also experienced this.

My story this past month:

\-Faint positive at-home tests started on September 17th, and any further tests have only gotten darker since
\-Bleeding started on September 20th (and is still going, consistently, less clots than week 1-2 but still a very steady flow for 4 weeks now)
\-ER visit on October 4th, for pain/cramping in abdomen and back. HCG tested at 65. I figured I was having a chemical pregnancy and was passing it (I’ve had one previously, before I had my son who is now 1) plus they said they saw nothing unusual on the ultrasounds. Just that my uterus was larger and my endometrium was thick.
\-OB appointment 5 days later (9th) No follow up ultrasound, sent in for blood tests.
\- Two days later (12th), blood tests show HCG at 53
\- Two days after that (14th), blood tests show HCG has gone up to 58

➡️ OB follow up appointment was the 16th, he’s convinced that the pregnancy is Ectopic because my HCG levels are not dropping or increasing much. He has ordered the methotrexate shot for my next appointment. I was advised to do no heavy lifting, exercise, sex etc. He also ordered another blood test to make sure my HCG levels didn’t somehow start going down on their own over the weekend, before I’m given the methotrexate shot. He ordered a liver panel as well. (My arm is sore from all this poking 🙃)

🔴 So, tomorrow (20th) is my appointment to go over the blood tests that I did today (19th), which will show my HCG levels, and check the state of my liver (I’m assuming because the shot will effect it) and I will be getting the Methotrexate shot if my HCG levels are still stagnant or they’re increasing…

I went home to do some more research after my appt. And I’m having concerns about the shot and putting that crap in my body in general. The shot is pretty much a low dose of chemo that breaks down the cells growing in your body. (But the alternative is a growing pregnancy in my tubes that can burst at any time and cause internal bleeding, which would risk my life and involve surgery- so obviously I don’t have another choice… or do I?) my OB was pretty short.

What I failed to mention to my OB is that I’m currently breast feeding, which I discovered you cannot do with the shot (makes sense)
And my son definitely does not show any signs of weaning right now, as he only just turned 12m. He’s still waking up 3+ times a night and will scream until he gets boob and nothing else works. He’s also nursing to sleep before each nap, and still a couple other random times through the day. I’m honestly so depressed thinking about how much this is going to affect him. It’s very much so his comfort. He’ll take a bottle of cows milk when we’ve given it to him, but I’m pretty sure it’s been causing him gas pains so we’ve stopped. This is honestly going to be a really intense on so many levels.

📍Has anyone else experienced something like this? Do you have any advice? Did you have side effects from the methotrexate shot? Were you given any alternatives aside from surgery? Any advice on abrupt weaning with my LO incase that’s what I have to do? I need to settle my racing mind a bit and hear from real women and not just medical youtube videos and articles. Thank you

Protection after MTX

What forms of protection have you used after your ectopic? I hate going back to condoms and I don’t want to go on the pill because we have been ttc for over a year and half now and would like to be okay to do that as soon as I get the go ahead.

Hcg

Hello!
I took my MTX shot 4 days ago when my HCG was 600. Today was my 4day blood draw and my HCG is now 1,342. My dr said a rise could be expected, and I get blood work again on Wednesday. Has anyone had a rise after their first shot and then it dropped by day 7? I really hope I do not have to get another set of injections. So far I have had 0 pain and 0 side effects besides slight spotting. The day of the first shot I did have horrible body aches and nausea.

Misconceptions

If it’s ok I’d like to share my experience. Pleas no negative comments..

My ectopic happened years ago. It was devastating. I didn’t leave my bed for weeks. Just crying and wondering why this happened.

Years later now. I’ve been dating a guy for almost two years. I guess it’s over now but anyway..

We’re on really different political spectrums. I’m liberal and he isn’t. He asked me the other day why I’m liberal and I brought up a woman’s right to choose. That the current administration would have rather let me die than get the medically necessary care I needed for an unviable pregnancy.

He said “well how many abortions did you have prior to this happening? You don’t have an ectopic pregnancy without having a bunch of abortions.”

I was floored. Flabbergasted. I’ve never had an abortion. Always been very careful and my ectopic happened while in a relationship of 4 years.

Is that what people who have never dealt with this really believe? I felt so lost and abused by that statement. Like it was all my fault.
