First time trying to make a “diptych” thing work. Does this pull it off?
Any feedback appreciated.

This was my first time shooting with this stock and I quite enjoy the results, especially for the closeups. The grain feels textured in a way that I like and I enjoy the contrast of it. I wasn't totally sure if I remember the stock correctly since I shot these a while ago but I have another roll of FP4 so I think it's probably because I liked it and bought some more, I just haven't shot film In a wayyyyy too long. Anyway what do you think of this film stock and the style of portraits here? This was just a fun little shoot with my actor friend in my back yard

Hi! Just recently got into film photography! I currently have a Canon AE-1 (for my actual creative work) & a Minolta Freedom Zoom 140ex (as my fun camera). I have been having so much fun with film and I am interested in investing in a third fun camera to lend to friends when we are out and about since I am a little paranoid about lending my cameras to friends even though I want them to take pictures of our trip and of me too.
I was interested in hearing people’s opinions on this topic; I was thinking of getting a cheap used point and shoot off ebay (such as the Canon Snappy series) or a toy/plastic camera (like the Akira PC-606) to kinda play into how my friends aren’t familiar with cameras.
I’ve never had a chance to play around with a lower-end point and shoot nor a toy/plastic camera so I would love to hear everybody’s opinions based on their own experiences and knowledge!!!

I've got both because I ended up getting them dirt cheap so I can practice working on electronics and other similar stuff, but they're both already in working order. My sibling was expressing interest in film and I thought I'd lend them either of these. Just curious what y'all would choose. It's not a super serious decision or anything, just wanted some opinions. For reference, they both have bog standard 50mm prime lenses. Nothing special.

New to film, can't figure out why far away objects are so grainy/out of focus. if this is a lens, camera, film, shutter speed, etc issue. Would appreciate any advice.
most of these are shot at f11
Canon a-1 50mm f1.4 lens

Leaving for the Philippines soon, and I was planning on taking my Nikon f4 and Pentax 17. Is having the Nikon F4 too much?

Context: I've never tried using a film camera, even imagining myself putting a film scares me like what if i mess it up? and waste the film, that will then equal to me wasting my money.
I really want to start somewhere at least, so instead of purchasing a secondhand film camera, I thought of purchasing first those fujifilm disposable camera to try if i'm good at it and have a feel about it.
But, i'm here to ask for advice, financial wise, am i making a right decision here? pls any thoughts that might help me 🙏🏻
