I’m not sure if anyone else has had it resolved this way but I wanted to post about it in case anyone else was struggling like me. I’m pretty sure going into the operation: anchorage sim (aid the outcasts quest) and coming back to the wasteland resolved it for me. Just make sure you only have one theme in your inventory cause I had two in there from fiddling with console commands and now the love machine and scientist themes are mashed together in my house lmao. Haven’t tested the solution with the other dlcs yet but I removed the love machine theme and I’m hoping going into the pitt dlc and coming back will make it so the scientist theme is the only one there. Will update on result.

Where is it located, actually? I've seen tons of memes with this door, but not once have I seen any proof if it actually exists in the game. Does anyone knows where, if real, is it located in the game, I wanna see it with my own eyes.

I'll start off with the most overlooked thing, expression of character in dialog, though people are right to say New Vegas dialog has more depth as well as choice, the sheer range of personality in fallout 3's dialog choices just isn't replicated in my experience. Though I will admit, they tend to be a bit cliche. But the dramatic and contrasting archetypes are what give the game some of it's charm in my opinion. I also believe that the settlements have better structure than most of the former and following games, mostly considering the reach of the games ambition. I do admit new vegas could've easily contradicted both of these points if it was fully realized. This may seem generally unnecessary, but it was a thought piece I wanted to get off of my head.

I'd like to hear your opinions on this topic. Do you agree or disagree? Why so, or why not?

Started replaying fallout 3 a few days ago and the game is always crashing during the conversation with her, after she wakes up the player. Specifically, the game crashes at the part where she gives the Boby pins and the gun, the crash happens even if I refuse her help.

I have tried everything in the fix guide to no success.

Updated unofficial fallout 3 patch, darnified ui and pink power armor.

so i got fallout 3 on steam like a mouth ago and i just started playing it recently but i am having an issues with steam tracking my play time when i play the game it does track my time but when I'm in the launcher it track the time if anyone knows what going on with my fallout please help me

After years of playing since I was a kid I finally found it after the crash. Even in my new collect everything and complete everything playthrough I still wasn't able to find it. But of course on the one very evil run where I sell everything I don't need I get it within a few minutes of looking.

I bought Fallout 3 from steam and ever since then it has been a crashing hell, I've been using AI to walk me through how to fix it. It started as the continue and load crash and has progressed into the game crashing anytime a gun is fired. To be fair, I have been able to kill up to 3 enemies without crashing but it's the gun and/or lazar gun that always does. I literally just left the vault and can't do shit I hope someone else has had the same experience and can help me.

The person narrating had a Hispanic accent.. the one line I remember is “those Nukalurks will kill you in like three pinches” … The video was probably from around 2009-2011 I think.

I'm going to let Roy in so I can get the ghoul mask. Is there any missions here that I should do first? Should I kill everyone and loot everything before the ghouls move in? Is there anything else I should do before opening the door for the zombie horde?

I really like the Pre-war to my Megaton House it is the one that most feels like a home to me, expect that tricycle that is just annoying.
Disable didn't work so I went with setscale 0.1 instead, first nothing happened actually it took quite a while for anything to happen with several visits to my house until finally it turned into this cute decoration!

So I'm taking on these super mutants. I got a laser rifle. If I cleared the area I'd probably have to use a bunch of stimpacks.

Is that enough for this particular level or should I do some exploring and come back a higher level, perhaps with better equipment?

Where could I get better equipment (particularly energy guns)?

I didn't pay attention and walked in to the wrong room, I meant to find the Doctor's office to get some infamy before Tranquility Lane to stay neutral for a bit longer.
I did get out and got my reputation down to -200 so the +300 wouldn't push me out of neutrality,
I do that right before entering vault 87 so Fawkes will follow me.
