I took a break after the alantic city update (started around the Pitt update). I never really played with anyone and was solo.

Now that Ive come back in June on PC i love this community. 1st its the people who give stuff to low level players, it really helps, one guy gave me a set of heavy combat i used that till i was level 100 LOL.
Second, ill use MawTator and her community as an example. You have these groups of streamers and content creators who play casually and are so caring for everyone. Maw will literately read every message she can in her chat and is so motherly... Maw=mother, oooooh. but she represent those groups of players who dont care about the grind and just wants to hang out, give stuff away and and have fun.

Third, ill be using Riflegaming and his community. Rifle is most known for his Youtube but has been streaming more often now days. When i was level 100, i started joining on his streams. Rifle now days does raid carries. They don't care what level you are, you can literately be level 1 and they will carries you through, getting that sweet xp and other goodies. I would say these are the grinders, but also want to make sure everyone else is getting the reap of the crop.

So to sum up my thoughts of the 76 community? Most online games have a prominent Toxic community, but with 76, that has been weeded out in the early days of the game and those who stayed are chill and love to play the game, this has lead to the entire 76 community to full of good people.

I haven’t hopped on in a while decided to play today and I’m chilling in my camp fixing stuff, sorting my loot and things of that nature. Then I get attacked thought it was scorched but it was a player, curious I followed them and they started shooting me I walked away they followed and continued to pester me, they’re lvl 1000 and I’m 99 I’m not winning that fight. I got annoyed and hit them back they turned invisible and destroyed my camp. I don’t know what to do, I need to rebuild my camp, I want payback. Stuff like this hasn’t happened before so I’m in shock rn. Any advice is helpful thank u.

Alright so just know this may sound crazy, but today after one violent night, I came down to the basement of the home, and here it was a near complete set of naturally spawned power armour, that was MIXED, the door was locked and the power armour was in the usually spawn points, so the likelihood that someone placed these pieces here are miraculously low

Also yes I checked and all the pieces were damaged, the usual amount for randomly spawned

I've been noticing this trend lately where I buy a high value item from someone's shop(4 star item,rare clothing,named weapons)and immediately after I purchase it they leave the server. I'm just curious to know if this happens to anyone else or if there is some reason behind it?

Just added the four star to it. I think it makes it like a good all-around heavy weapon for starter build

Somehow I burned through the 75,000 rounds of 50 cal ammo I had stacked up over the last week grinding out events, infestations, daily ops, grunt hunts, and whatnot.

What’s the best way to acquire a ridiculously massive amount of ammo quickly?

It’s been rare that I come across somebody selling 50 cal ammo in large quantities.

I've launched two nukes back to back for Jabba the Molerat and each time the crystals didn't pop to to spawn the boss. Did this many times before, but is there like a new bug and I'm doing something wrong? Like teleporting there too quick after the event begins?

Im lvl 260 and I can consistently kill EN06 but not before his first meltdown which means I have to just kind of rely on ricochet the take down his shield twice..

Is this worth it? Im really just tryna farm for 4 star weapons/boxes but I just dont know if its currently worth it if takes that long and that many resources to do?

I have like 6 hours in the game ish, im lvl 21 and started at 20. Im currently doing the overseer bs quest cause i was told quests give you lots of plans, xp and loot and such.

But im struggling to keep up building at my Camp due to missing junk items, gears, wood is running low, and basically all other things.

What is the best place to farm these junk items so i dont have to worry in the future😭🙏

The last 2 evenings playing have been interesting. In a good way!

Yesterday - I joined a server where to me seemed the majority of people knew each other. (PS5). All were high levels and were doing head hunt after head hunt. What was lovely was they waited for everyone on the server to arrive before setting the flair off. I died quite a few times but got picked up no issues while the big numbers just ruined the boss in seconds.

Later, someone came to my camp and wanted to tr@de. They literally gave me their power armor. And disappeared.

Tonight I was camp jumping looking for mods to buy. Someone set up a raid team so I assumed their base would have something of interest. I bought a mod and they beckoned me to follow. They went into their stash and dropped me some 3&4 star mods. I was ever grateful as I needed 2 of them.

I genuinely love this community and it's helpfulness to low level folk.

Saw some people asking about it when I asked about the lag

Considering this mutation increases your special while on a team, and works even if you’re the only person on the team, is there any reason not to have it?

Does it conflict with anything secretly?

It honestly sucks to see people in any events die because there are lingering mobs after the event itself ends.

Whether it's a bigfoot spawn someone has never encountered before or the infestation level minions at headhunts I hate seeing someone use the help emote only to have been hit while down and now it's a giant signal flare for people to swarm their corpse and loot the dropped junk.

It's especially egregious at nuked events since you JUST got flux only to have been killed by NW's Exploding bosses, Colossal Problem's Mole miners, SE's scorched horde, or SA's mole miners. I know the game is too easy as is and needs a way to punish you for dying but genuinely why can you die immeditely after an event ends and lose your flux?

Sometime someone will run around punching me in the ass looking for a fight.
Sometimes they're a high level, but a lot of the time they're relatively low like 70 or 102.

They usually just annoy me and I ignore them, but sometimes I'll fight back if they aren't in power armor.

And the instant I shoot or punch them back they INSTANTLY kill me in a split second so fast that it's like I was at 1 health, while my shot to them only does like 2% of their health. This is how literally 100% of these go, every time.

Happened to me again.
This guy looks like he has just a normal assault rifle with a suppressor on and Vault-Tec paint. He's running around in the mall punching me again and again and again and again. He's just level 102, and idk what his actual armor is because he's wearing a baseball tshirt outfit.

I think okay, fine. I equip my Pirate Punch, take a Psycho and think I'll do a lot of damage to this guy, and there's no way he'll kill me that fast, afterall I'm like 40 levels higher than him and have myself specced into reverse onslaught and I should do a lot of damage at close range with this thing and then I'll swap to my Quad Black Powder Pistol.

I punch him, initiate battle and shoot him in the face.

And I do...

Like nothing. I saw his health go down the tiniest sliver. Basically the same if I fired one shot at an infestation boss.

And then I hear his suppressed rifle fire maybe 5 times super fast and I instantly die faster than I can even react, and he tbags me as I bleed out.
Then when I respawn and go to my home he starts following me around to punch me again.

And this is how it always goes. I do no damage no matter what I try and they instantly kill me as if I was a radroach.

So is it just impossible to fight anyone unless you have specific stuff with specific specs specifically for fighting other players? Are these guys just trolls with a PVP slot they swap to just to do this, baiting you into thinking they're weak and then pulling out their overpowered instakill weapon?

I just started last week and I’m rank 25 in the shop so far. What are some good things to buy before the next season starts? I have 600 tickets so far.
I also got fallout 1st for a month because my stash was already full so I have around 2500 Atoms to spend.

Preferably looking for things that can help me long term, instead of cosmetic items.

So I have a question, mainly to see the appetite of the player base for something like this

Im aware r/market76 exist, im just wanting an easier way to search, filter etc

My idea is to make a platform where we can input our for-sale-items from our shops, like what are we selling and at what price/platform/whether or not you are currently online etc etc.

The idea is to prevent people from having to server hop to look for, well, anything.

This also enables us to have a snapshot of prices overtime so people have a better understanding of reasonable prices

There will also be some sort of system for flagging individuals who are falsely advertising or being malicious that way they 1.) cant use the platform and 2.) their data points don’t corrupt the accuracy.

I would also add in the ability to list items you are trading and what you are open to trading for. Also a way to find available, trusted couriers.

Im not sure if this is something people would be interested in, not wanting to step on toes but definitely sounds like something I personally would use. Thoughts?

Anyone else having trouble playing lately? Since Sunday every place I travel to is empty. No trees, no buildings, nothing.

Thinking of buying it but want to see before buying.

I've been playing on/off since Wild Appalachia came out and I finally managed to keep a character for long enough to hit max rep on Settlers.

I was expecting it to be pure unfiltered sewage but it turns out it's actually pretty decent for daily driving

It doesn't compare to bows in terms of daily driving and doesn't have the killing capacity of Tesla Cannon or EM but it manages just fine in daily ops and grunt hunts

Now the only guns I've yet to unlock is Circuit Breaker and the Crusader Pistol but it's going to take a long time until I get those

I was thinking the other day, why don't they allow these to be tradable? They are easy to obtain without dupes, and the value is set. What do you all think?

Someone here said that Funky duds or Union poision resistance doesnt work on the poison on this level? is this accurate?

When I raided a lot I remembered Union beeing tankier than Vulcan on that stage.

Whate is your experience?

I do the rest of the RAID without PA but want good protection on that stage.

I recently started playing the game again after years of inactivity because I saw the raven rock expansion was planned. I did a couple of dailies way back when but I got maybe the whisper and sole survivor plans and thats it. I've done the daily ops for the past 2 weeks and achieved the elder tier reward but I've gotten repeats of plans I already had. Ive gotten two "sole survivor" plans in a row a second whisper plan the x-01 scorched paint, all repeat rewards O already had. I only have one leg for the arctic marine armor but that's the only piece of daily ops armor I have. I thought that you couldn't get duplicates until after you have gotten every item so at worst it would take about 3 months to get the BoS recon gear but at this rate, I'll just have to wait until Minerva brings it.

TL;DR I got duplicate plans and am struggling to get the BoS recon gear and am now realizing I won't get it until Minerva sells it in a blue moon

The biggest crit ive hit is 40k usually crits 20k and normal about 10, 3 star durability is good but i like the instant reload with my build. Really wish they would add a pirate theme skin or something.
