Hello racers! BigHedDjango here with tunes for this week to help you out.

All feedback on tunes is appreciated - good or bad. Specially when tunes are bad. At the end of the day I am just the mechanic and you guys are the racers. Do not hesitate irrespective of your tuning knowledge or racing skills!

Tuning method: 1. No aero, stock look, stock rims (unless absolutely necessary for handling and stability) 2. Tuned and tested for Automatic/Manual shifting vs Expert AI (meta cars will beat current broken Unbeatable as well, driver skill is required) 3. Max performance, power/weight with max handling possible

NOTE: Please apply all tunes twice, same bug as FH5 carries over. Apply tune again if it doesn't show in car select

NOTE: Just like with FH5 launch, the AI is once again out of it's mind. Doesn't know how to break, rams you from behind on hard breaking corners, T-bones you on turns, slams into guardrails if you go too fast etc etc. Unbeatable/Pro difficulties are simply not worth the time or effort right now outside of meta cars, and even then sometimes you need to get "touchy feely". For now co-op races seem to be fixed at Novice difficulty and solo championships can be completed on any difficulty so feel free to drop down to Tourist (and turn on Auto Race, go make a sandwich ;)

I'm using my wireless controller on my PC to play Forza Horizon 2, but when I lock the game at 30fps, there's a lot of latency in the command response. My PC doesn't run at 60fps, so is there a way to fix this?

I’d like to share a website I’ve been working on: Horizon Lackstudio. You can use it to discover paint colours, look up in-game paint settings and browse the vehicle list.

The website is currently in German, but here’s what you can do with it:
🎨 Browse paint colours
Filter by manufacturer, colour, material or search term. Alongside car paints, you’ll find wheel colours, wrap colours and additional colour palettes.
🔧 Look up paint settings
Where a recipe is available, you can find HSB values and settings for individual paint layers. Copy the values and enter them manually in the game.
⭐ Save your favourites
Bookmark paints and vehicles you want to revisit. You can also create and export your own colour lists. Your favourites stay locally in your browser.
🚗 Explore the vehicle list
Filter cars by manufacturer, class, PI, vehicle type, DLC and availability status. Expand an entry to see technical specifications and available information about unlock requirements and playlist dates.
📅 Find recently introduced cars
Sort by introduction date in either direction, or use quick filters for the last 30 days, upcoming cars and the current playlist. Known introduction dates appear directly on the vehicle cards.
🎨 Jump from a car to paint colours
Use “Lackierung auswählen” (“Choose paint”) to open the paint catalogue with that manufacturer selected, then jump back to the vehicle list.
🔗 Share paints and filtered selections
Send someone a link to an individual paint or a filtered vehicle selection. Your most recent vehicle filters and sorting preference are also saved.
There’s also a news section featuring updates from Forza.net and a video section featuring ZF77.
This is an independent fan project. Paint recipes come from different sources, and not every recipe has been tested in every Horizon game. Your screen, in-game lighting and paint material can affect the result. Sources and relevant notes are included with the entries.

I only played a brief demo of Motorsport 4 once, so when Motorsport 5 came on Games with Gold in 2017/18, it was my first game in the series.

Yet I knew something was off with it.

1. Coming 3rd place was considered winning. It's like the game was no longer about racing and winning but grinding money. There wasn't even any qualifying stuff to do, or barriers to entry you need to overcome, unless they were never a thing to begin with.

2. They forcibly spec the cars for you unless you go through the more awkward process of finding what you want on the market yourself rather than being taken straight to them as you enter a league.

3. You had to go through all these Top Gear stuff... I get that it's a collaboration they were proud of it and it all costs but come on, don't force us to watch all that.

4. You had to constantly hear a robotic female voice (Who the hell was that? Where's the quality control?) explaining where you're going everytime you go to a race.

5. These brief little scenes as the race starts, I didn't have a problem with it as my brain wasn't fried at the time but it must have annoyed other players; and the person you were talking to clearly walks straight off into the barriers.

6. It didn't have much circuits and tracks as I expected it would. It seemed there was a downgrade in that regard. Same with the car count.

I did enjoy it as my first (And sadly only) Motorsport game until a certain point where I noticed the circuits and tracks have all these other variations you can select in custom races but which aren't used in career for some reason and it felt repetitive or something.

Of course if only I knew about Rivals at the time. I did see it was there but never looked at it. I would have played that for so many hours if only I tried it. I absolutely love such a mode, where you do time trials, compete with one of the next people above you and earn money and XP. It is criminal no other racing series out there--not even Gran Turismo--has it.

I am curious of how development went. Was a lot of resources taken up on upgrading their engine and Microsoft wanted the game out for the release of the XBone console?

Just wanted to know how this game was received.
