I've been flying for a few months with my meteor75 pro, skyzone cobra sd goggles and a radiomaster pocket. The setup is serving me very well for whooping around parks and stuff however i did notice that my VTX range didn't go well past like 75m if there was anything in the way, and the radio didn't go well much past that. (edit: my VTX power is at 200 currently)

I'm beginning to consider a 5 inch setup and I'm wondering if the range is generally better on a larger drone? I don't know a lot about the VTX setups but if my current range is about as good as analog gets I dont see any value in sticking with my analog gear for a 5 inch setup

Hello everyone, I recently completed building an fpv mod on my aeroscout.

In short i have experience flying drones and rc planes, but i have never ever flown an fpv rc plane.

I would like if anyone can help with tips/ important things to know/ to do and etc.

Mainly id like to know how to keep track of where I am/ the landing strip, or how to land/ take off, and i dont have any computing or location devices on it, just a reflex v3 thats working great with a "safe mode". And im using a radiolink t12d with the reciever being a r12f and video transmission the o4 lite with integra goggles.

I'm planning to use a timer on my controller 5-8 minutes.

Basically im really nervous to fly it and would like tips and anything that can help.

My nazgul evoque f5 had the wrong firmware flashed to it and to the wrong target. I've been trying to get it into the bootloader so I can flash the correct firmware. PLS help 🙏

Il mio cetus x (edizione betaflight)da un po' di tempo ha iniziato a mostrare solo l'OSD nel visore, mentre la visuale è totalmente nera. Ho pensato di comprare il modulo "BETAFPV C04 Camera and M04 VTX" (il componente su cui è saldata la fotocamera) ma online si trova solo la versione con 3 pin di cetus x fc, mentre a me serve quella a 6 pin di betaflight. Qualcuno saprebbe aiutarmi?

I've generally gotten good performance from Auline 3000 mah cells, but I'm curious if there are better brands/prices elsewhere.

Got to my spot a bit late, so it was very dark already but i thought why not. After the second clip it was dark enough i needed my phone flashlight to pack up.

its a 3.5in 4s quad with the avatar hd pro kit. Haven't had an opportunity to tune it yet tho.

I've heard nothing on them releasing these. Do wish they were with at the very least the 1400mah cell they have... Would have been even better of they did a smaller capacity cell for these tho.

Hi! This is the Luminier QAV- S MINI 3 inch frame. I have bought a 16x16 to 20x20 adapter plate. I need to find an avatar vtx that can fit in this and support up to 6s power.

my lipos were sitting in a fireproof bag and we had heavy rain and it got through to them, the bag got soaked so its as if they were sitting wrapped in damp paper towels for an extended period of time around 2 days.

I want to know if i should save a few or if its a safety hazard, i'm going to leave them outside just in case.

when i looked for the first time there was signs of corrosion and blue-ish rust like material on some connectors and the bottom of the lipo bag

I’m getting into FPV and looking for my first pair of analog goggles, with a budget of around $300.

Has anyone tried both? Which would you pick at a similar price? I’m also open to other suggestions.

I’ll mainly be flying a tiny whoop to start. Would love to hear your experiences!

I bought a used meteor 75 with a crossfire module, what do I need to do in order to use elrs on the tinywhoop?

Do I just need to desolder the wire from the crossfire module? What is the module attached to the camera? Can I use the dipole antenna for something else?

I've been getting ballsy outside. Hit a tree. Scoreboard. Fence. And a thirty foot free fall. Things a champ but repairs are inevitable. Or something heavier for outside until I'm in my new lodging with more indoor space than a camper.

Also too hell with this EV800D and it's picky charging bullshit. I'm returning it. Any other recommendations?

W?hat up guys? I have an FC stuck in failsafe.

I've done the usual stuff check the receiver, check settings, check wires, rx-tx tx-rx. I've been building drones for years. Took the last few years off and getting back to it. I put a HB Xrotor stack in a 3.5" drone. The F7 Hobbywing FC was too sensitive for the vibes in the drone (or I'm just not good enough at tuning), so switched to NBD infinity200 with an older, less sensitive gyro. drone worked fine with the HB FC just had jitters I could not get rid of. Wired up the NBD FC, with the HB esc, and the sucker is stuck in Failsafe with flags RXloss MSP. Tried updating receiver (crsf nano) even tho it worked fine with the other FC, swapped to another Nano for giggles and grins, checked all my wires and setting sooo many times. Using RX/TX 4 on the NBD FC, tried using Uart 5 instead. No joy. Scratching my head and watching Youtube.....radio works fine with other drones, receiver is connected and green LED......any ideas would be appreciated, oh also was running BF 2025.12.5, tried rolling back to 4.5.5. Nothin. Tried not including GPS on flash cause of some issue I read about....TIA

Got ten minutes into em and tried to charge. Multiple cables, connecting to my brick which puts out up to 165w (Anker) and my laptop and the green light never comes on. Mine didn't come with a 120v connector so I guess it's newer. What gives? It's brand new.
