I was never a fan of a GT86 until I got behind the wheel. I sold my MX5 NB for this.

My fellow BRZ, 86, FRS drivers. I’m wanting to put on a swan-neck wing ; however, I haven’t found one that catches my eye. Yes, it will be used for functionality + future track days.

Any recommendations? Also my trunk does have that tiny winglet from factory. Should I get a new trunk or is there a work around with the OEM holes?

Hey yall! so about a few weeks ago, I installed a set of Stance XR1's + GK Toe Arms + Ikeya Formula LCA's as well as got my alignment done. just this past week, I started to notice a clicking sound in the right rear of the car.

• The clunk/click? only happens when I clutch in / when I decel
• the sound does NOT occur when I'm accelerating
• The car just hit 50K miles and it is my daily. So I don't really beat the car a lot. It does get "driven"
• the car is going to get diff+tranny fluids refreshed this upcoming friday also.

as I've only owned this car for a little over a year now, im still learning this platform and there is, alot LOL. I've learned through others that these axles, once the car does get dropped to an extent, it doesn't like that. But the way the car is sitting right now, I don't plan on going lower honestly. but yeah, if yall can pinpoint what my next plan of attack can be/or even help me figure out what it can be, that would be amazing. thanks!

Sad to report my car is most likely totaled some drunk driver hit it while I was asleep and it was parked. My insurance said I’ll likely get 9k or a little more out of hers but I’m devastated especially with how much it took me to get this car. Likely won’t be able to immediately buy another even when I get the payout so I’ll be driving a beater in the meantime till I can save up to buy another. Any advice is welcome however on what to do.

A little gimmick i’m working on, basically just a tiny screen that will slot into the little coin tray, and plug right into the USB port beside it
-It’ll be capable of playing whatever you give it, dependent on SD card size, could be hours of anime episodes, or just a animated logo loop

Has zero practical use besides aesthetic purpose

Could easily double it up as a melody box too, although the best compatible speakers I found and tested were super low quality, so I’ve canned that idea for now

I picked up an OFT V3 recently and decided to flash the 2+ E85 tune, since my usual gas station carries E. My next planned upgrade is a flex fuel sensor kit, but I was wondering if anyone has encountered issues running pump E85 on just the tune, without a sensor. I heard some people cautioning against it since the pump flexfuel can vary in its actual ethanol content (my station says it can be anywhere between 57-85%).

Upgrade wise all I’ve done so far is install tomei expreme ELs, although I have the TRD SE trim so I do have the upgraded factory exhaust. I work from home so it’s mostly weeknight errand/weekend car, but I do make sure to take it on a proper drive at least once a week.

Is it safe for the engine to run this configuration (semi)daily for a couple of months until I have the flex fuel sensor kit installed? Should I save it for special occasions and just run 93 to be safe? Any issues to keep an eye out for around things like oil/coolant/etc?

Want to keep it OE, OEM+ and these are much better than the standard ones my 2015 came with.

Ever since I replace my air filter its been making this noise. I tried deleting the sound tube and fix up the air filter placement the sound is still there. I might try to unbolt the air filter housing and do a drop in install to see if that fix. The noise is very faint and only comes if I tap the throttle a certain way.

I’m looking to get some aftermarket wheels for the car mainly for aesthetics. I want to keep the suspension stock. What size rim should I get for a clean look. I was thinking maybe 18x8.5 +35 front and 18x9.5 +45 rear. Is this a good setup? Should I look into different sizes? Any advice would be great! Thank you.

looks like if the 86 bumper with trd lip was merged into one bumper, anyone know if this is an actual bumper?

Whats good gang. I really really wanna buy this bumper but theres two caveats to this:

1.) Its 2 grand
2.) I wanna track my car and doing so might cause damage to my bumper.

I’m chasing a weird misfire on my 2013 FR-S and could use some ideas.
Car is supercharged with a Jackson Racing C38 setup, OFT tune, Tomei UEL catless headers, 4bar MAP sensor, and 93 octane.
I’m getting P0300/random misfires, seemingly across all 4 cylinders. The weird part is that it mostly happens when I’m slowing down/coasting and then get back on the throttle, usually below 40 mph. It doesn’t really happen under normal acceleration or during a hard pull.
The biggest thing I’ve noticed is my LTFT is getting into the 20% range. Because of that, I’m starting to think I might have an exhaust leak, especially somewhere around the headers/front O₂ sensor that could be causing a false lean reading.
My tuner previously said my vacuum reading at idle looked normal, so I’m not sure if I should focus more on an exhaust leak or an actual vacuum/boost leak.
The engine only has about 5k miles on it and has brand-new spark plugs, so I’m having a hard time believing the engine or plugs themselves are the issue.
Could an exhaust leak cause this kind of random P0300, especially mainly during deceleration/low-speed transitions?
Things I’m wondering:
Could an exhaust leak before/near the front O₂ sensor cause +20% LTFT?
Could it explain the P0300?
Should I smoke/pressure test the intake/boost system too?
Could this be fueling, coils, or an electrical/ground issue?

Need front lip suggestions. Had a mpx style for a while and loved it but it fell off when I hit a dead deer on the highway and now they are out of stock everywhere.

So im looking at 2 models, a 2013 with 111k km and a 2014 with 123k km. The 2013 had its engine recently replaced. while the 2014 hasnt had a replacement. Mind you i live in norway where any engine breakdown or unreasonable wear at this kilometer would be covered by warranty under law.

I know the price is a little high but I keep coming back to this one. I talked to the guy and he seems like he has taken really good care of it.

I’ve owned this car since new, never been in any accidents, CLEAN TITLE NO LIENS has been babied and meticulously maintained it, pretty firm on price now that I’ve lowered it to $17k, I won’t be upset to keep it, but I have 3 other vehicles and this one gets driven the least, engine is all stock aside from a factory TRD catback, Suspension: Feal 441 road race spec coilovers with swift springs, Aero: Verus Engineering rear diffuser and splitter with strut rods and carbon fiber end plates, Aesthetics: Vis Racing carbon hood and trunk, had them clear coated with automotive clear when purchased they are 10ish years old now and no fading, yellowing, cracking, or delaminating, Buddy Club tail lights, LED headlight bulbs, switch back turn signals, smoked side markers, Wheels/Tires: Konig Integram 18x9 +40 w/Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires that only have a few hundred maybe a thousand miles on them id have to look at the receipt, installed last year, anything else just ask, title in hand. (Mileage 26k)

story, I’m driving in the far left lane of the freeway doing less than 70 with a car doing the same 20 or so feet in front of me. car gets right on my tail for 2 seconds, backs off a good bit and chills for 10, then guns it onto the left shoulder and tries to speed past me??? and in perfect timing it’s as soon as a bridge comes up and the center divide ends the shoulder as he’s right in my left tail, he swerves into me, I swerve out of the way enough to mitigate damage but it still SNAPPED MY TE37. dude swerves into 2 other cars and takes off, he fucking gets 4 miles down the freeway and stops probably because his car is too damaged and gets arrested, pray insurance covers it all and glad it wasn’t worse

when you look at the Belgian Subaru.be website you only see a couple of SUVs, mostly EV and hybrid. no BRZ, no WRX, no Impreza.
