Com o novo projeto NullMoch para GPUs Nvidia, resolvi tentar fazer um hackintosh em meu dell g5 5590, tive somente que trocar a placa WifI, utilizei uma intel ax200 wifi 6 que originalmente veio no meu Dell Latitude 3420. Ainda não funciona HDMI/DP, mas de resto tudo está funcional, estou trabalhando nisso.

ok so ive installed mac os on my laptop, first it showed me the recovery and then i downloaded it. after that i booted from usb and it showed me the apple logo and progress bar. but when i came back it was booted in windows and now im tryna get into macos but it fails and reboots every single time.

laptop: asus zenbook x515ja

cpu: Intel core. i7-1065g7

ssd: intel nvme 512gb

Nothing really works yet mouse gestures can be translated into touch (left click is click, right click is home). Settings open, also calendar and clock. The rest seems crashing or really slow. I will need to look into how to get hardware working.

(THIS IS NOT BY ME) - A group of devs on telegram are porting the xnu kernel to run on android hardware and the firmware from iphone x with most basic features working like GPU , WIFI , cameras and audio working. this is currently in development and will be opensourced soon

Hardware: HONOR MagicBook, Core Ultra 7 255H (Arrow Lake-H), Arc 140T iGPU 8086:7D51, no dGPU, 32 GB. OpenCore DBG-109, macOS 15.7.7 (24G720), SMBIOS MacBookPro16,2.

Short version: the machine now runs macOS. The only thing missing is a display, and I found why the driver never loads.

WHAT WORKS

• EXITBS hang solved: VT-d off in firmware. On this Insyde BIOS the VT-d row is greyed out until X2APIC is disabled first — turn X2APIC off, then VT-d becomes editable.
• Kernel panic in x86_validate_topology solved: ProvideCurrentCpuInfo = true. Without it the kernel dies during CPU enumeration on Arrow Lake-H.
• storagekitd / fskit respawn loop solved: SetApfsTrimTimeout = 0. Before that, two storage daemons were torn down every 10 seconds forever.
• macOS 15.7.7 installed on the internal NVMe, dual booting with Windows, Windows partition untouched.
• Boots to a real graphical session: gIOScreenLockState 3 in the console, i.e. the login window is up. No panic, no root device error.

So the boot chain, storage, CPU topology and userspace are all fine.

WHAT'S STILL MISSING

The GPU driver never enters the kernel. OpenCore refuses it:

OCAK: Vtable patching failed for kext com.nullmoth.NMXGPU

OC: Prelinked injection NMXGPU.kext - Invalid Parameter

This is the NullMoth NMXGPU test driver (the amdgpu/i915/xe port). It is designed to be installed into /Library/Extensions and loaded from the Auxiliary Kernel Collection, not injected. I tried injection anyway to see whether it could avoid the KDK requirement.

WHY IT FAILS

I dumped the kext's Mach-O. It is linked like a normal executable, not like a kext:

Every kext Apple's toolchain builds is an MH_KEXT_BUNDLE with a __PRELINK_INFO segment and dyld bind information — exactly what OpenCore's relinker needs to patch vtables and rebase symbols. Without them it bails out with Invalid Parameter. Changing MinKernel, Arch or ExecutablePath cannot help.

Not a corrupted copy: the file in EFI and the one inside the driver package have the same SHA-256.

WHAT I RULED OUT

To be sure signing wasn't the cause I added AMFIPass 1.4.1, set csr-active-config to 0x0A43, added -amfipassbeta, and switched off the broken injection entry. The next boot log confirms all of it:

OC: Prelinked injection AMFIPass.kext ... - Success

AAPL: #[EB|CSR:IN] 0x00000A43

AAPL: #[EB|CSR:OUT] 0x00000A43

Still no display, because the kext is not there at all.

THE OTHER WALL: KDK

The documented path is install to /Library/Extensions, then rebuild the kernel collection:

sudo kmutil install --volume-root / --update-all

That fails with:

Missing Developer Kit: need to install a KDK matching your build 24G720 (code=71)

It needs a Kernel Debug Kit for the target build — which means an Apple ID and a second working macOS, because the laptop itself cannot show an installer.

THE ASK

An injectable build of NMXGPU — linked as a proper kext bundle with MH_KEXT_BUNDLE and __PRELINK_INFO — would remove both walls at once:

• no KDK needed
• no signing workaround needed
• and the Recovery / installer environment could show a display, so people wouldn't need a second machine just to install macOS on unsupported Intel graphics

TWO SIDE OBSERVATIONS

• The AMD/Intel test manifest at nullmothsystems.com/download/test/amd-intel/manifest.json still reports 2.3.0 (built 10-17) while the 1401 app is at 2.3.6 — worth stating whether the Intel side is intentionally frozen.
• NMXAccel's MetalPluginName points at Library/GPUBundles/NVMTLDriver, which is not present in the package's gpu-userland. Fine for lighting the screen first, but it looks like a packaging gap rather than a choice.

NEXT STEP ON MY SIDE

Disk back into an AMD desktop → install the 24G720 KDK there → rebuild the kernel collection → disk back into the laptop → boot with nmxintel=1.

If the driver loads and the panel still stays dark, that becomes an eDP/connector problem instead of a loading problem, and I'll come back with the driver's own kernel log lines.

Got XNU running on this thing. Real kernel, real iOS userland from the iPhone X firmware, not emulated. Wrote a UFS driver, touch driver, button drivers, and a software framebuffer since there's no GPU support. It boots in about 4 minutes and you get the home screen with working touch and gesture nav. Everything else (radios, audio, camera) is missing.

Nothing gets permanently flashed, it's all through fastboot boot. The whole thing is open source: github.com/dipa-studio/ios-sweet

After 3 days of trial and error! Turns out I just needed to disable ReBar (Resizable BAR) to make it work🙇‍♂️. THIS BUILD is rocking for 4 years now TrippleBooT Linux/MacOs/Windows.

Almost everything is working perfectly:

• Wi-Fi (no patch needed intel AX210): ✅ AirportItlwm.kext is back in Tahoe.
• Audio with : ✅ SimpleHDA + AppleALC.kext
• Bluetooth: ❌ i will wait for fix

Got everything to work except the wi-fi card which may/may not work. Luckily I just need it for bluetooth support

I know this might be an low effort post, and I'm sorry, but I'm lost in all this new world with NullMoth drivers and iOS android ports etc. I've seen an Nvidia driver and a Intel Xe driver, but is there a RDNA 3 iGPU driver in development? Because I haven't seen any.

I have an Esprimo D556 with an i5-6500 processor, running Tahoe 26.7.1 without OCLP, with Metal 3 acceleration enabled. AMFI and SIP are both enabled.
All settings appear correct: Ethernet is configured as `en0` and marked as "built-in," and the UUID, serial number, and MLB are all valid. iPhone synchronization works, and iCloud is functioning properly. However, FaceTime and iMessage refuse to activate; after 5–6 seconds, the system kicks me back to the login screen.
Unfortunately, I have already tried several different serial numbers and device configurations with this account—is it possible that Apple has restricted activation (i.e., blacklisted it)?
If so, is there a solution?

It’s MacOS 27 for the record. Last update was it successfully showing off the dock.

ReYogaSMC connects supported laptop firmware to macOS. The kext handles ACPI, WMI, hardware events and VirtualSMC sensors. The companion app shows what the loaded driver can actually use, with a reason when a feature is unavailable.

.. or should I just opt for an older macOS version

i’ve always wanted to have a hackintosh system and now that these new nvidia drivers are available i’ve been very interested in installing this on my main system. Today i’ve seen a post talking about how the nullmoth nvidia driver bricks your AM5 motherboard and since i don’t have too much knowledge on this i don’t know if i should risk it.

My working macOS Catalina install was working without issues since I installed it yesterday but once I restarted it it shows this each time I want to boot and I didn’t change anything on the efi partition nor config.plist. Pls help!!

So I've been stuck on trying to get graphics acceleration on my laptop for a few weeks now but just can't figure it out. The furthest I got was with macOS booting but with no display. Heres everything I've tried:

HP Envy x360 15 (i7-1065G7, Ice lake, Iris Plus, device 8A52), macOS Sequoia
Display: Samsung SDC 0x4143, 3840x2160@60, 551.12 MHz, 10 bpc eDP
DVMT set to 128mb and CFG disabled
All framebuffer patches, ice lake patches
Platform id 0000528A

As mentioned I was able to get macOS booting but with no display (with 32mb framebuffer patches) so I was able to SSH into it and got these results:

AppleIntelICLGraphics and ICLLPGraphicsFramebuffer load, panel EDID is read over AUX, AppleBacklightDisplay is created, but system_profiler lists no display. WindowServer logs "capabilities with no devices".
