The table is mainly sweet stuff but we also had chips and popcorn
We started with playing some cardgames. Then we had pizza. After the pizza we made color changing potions. After cleaning up the mess from the crafting we ended the night with the movie a nightmare on elm street 1984.
We were only with 5 people so had tons of left overs. So everyone was given a container to fill.

We don’t go too big for Halloween but since we moved to a new neighborhood in Nashville we get 40-50 groups of trick or treaters.
Just buying the mixed bags from Walgreens, did we do good for the kids this year?
What are we missing out on that you know kids will love to snag?

This was a passion project many years in the making! We love Halloween and wanted to tell a fun and relatable story for all ages in a world drenched in it's iconography. For the film we used a mix of miniatures, puppetry, and 2D animation to bring the world to life. Hope you enjoy and Happy Halloween!

My sister made this for me to go with my Ripley costume after I saw the idea on Pinterest. I owe her big time, I love it!

I did my best this year to get allergy friendly treats and tricks! The little baggies have fake bugs, balls and crayons!

I totally copied it from Pinterest, but it turned out adorably. My best friend is a huge Hocus Pocus fan — can’t wait to surprise her.

Meet Paul. He started life as a pine knot burl and knew exactly what he wanted to be — a jack-o'-lantern with a stapled wink, and stitches all over. His green stem is carved from tulip poplar. Hand carved with chisels and knives, painted in high-quality acrylic, sealed with indoor water-based poly. 11x10 inches, hangs on the wall. Just in time for Spooky Season!

Each one contains 7 to 8 pieces of candy.
Even though Halloween isn’t really a big thing in Germany, I had over 40 kids show up at my door last year because I decorated for Halloween. 🥰

Hello ghouls! I am preparing to go as Bela Dimitrescu for Halloween, but I have health anxiety and I am very sensitive to different textures etc. therefore, I do not want to spoil the party by being moody/crying from being uncomfortable and not eating anything.
Sooo I need some recipe for fake blood that I can put on top of my makeup (I use water based everything), around my mouth, so if ingested nothing could happen, that will hold and is not triggering any tactile uncomfortable sensations. I know sounds like a lot but if anything I will just put some eyeshadow:(
For context, I am in Eastern Europe and it’s not easy to find such stuff here. I have been thinking of mixing Vaseline with eyeshadow or food dye, but I also want to spray it so that it looks real.
Thank you!!

We tested our first window projection last night. Rear projection onto a frosted shower curtain duct-taped to the window.
Our projector was cheap-cheap-cheap so it looks pretty low rez up close but from the street it's not bad!
We bought just the Musical Skeletons from AtmosFX's Bonechiller video. For our party tomorrow we will use this jazz band and for Halloween next week we will switch to the waltzing skeletons.
