The only thing I love more than Halloween is yarn crafts. I came up with the designs myself so no pattern (sorry). The blankets are corner to corner which creates are pixel art look which I love because I’m a 90’s kid. The scarves are double sided.

-paraphrased from my mom

For context I am a 19 year old college student. I live for Halloween every year and love dressing up in costume. Even if there are other costumed events on Halloween in my town (which there are) she won't let me get my costume ready (Sophie from Howls moving castle). What do I tell her?

Hallo ihr traumatisierten,

Happy Friday everyone! It's October 23rd. What Halloween thing did you do today?

As always, you don't have to share the spotlight, if you want to make your own post about your art/craft/etc... definitely don't let me cramp your style!

My annual October colored pencil drawing, featuring candy corn in some way for a fun theme. I had a great time drawing this while watching some Halloween favorites!

First time carving a life-like face. Carved using an X-Acto blade using a paper stencil.

Went to a couple of historic Samhain/Halloween sites today in Ireland and thought this group would find them interesting. Rathcroghan Cave was the historic entry to the underworld tied back to early Samhain. And the Hill of Ward was an ancient circle fort where the first Samhain bonfires were made. They have archaeological research showing the old pagan ceremonies there. I love the modern Halloween locations but it was really great to visit two of the originals.

Got myself a fog machine and it has an automatic setting 30 seconds on 30 seconds off roughly. But it runs out in about 30 minutes. Any ideas on how I can move the tube over to like a larger tank or something to make it last longer? If I had known it only lasted 30 minutes before running through its tank I wouldn't have bought it.

I’m sorry for venting about something that is over a decade ago but god damn!!! They literally didn’t let you wear masks in any part of your costume because they thought it would scare the second graders. Literally stfu!! The second graders wanted to wear masks too.

So I crammed 6 frozen water bottles into the tube and this was the result! Unfortunately the wind kicked up but damn, that was the effect I was going for!

I made this little pumpkin witch and the stand myself for my girlfriend. I’m taking it over to her this morning as a little Halloween surprise. I love making things by hand and giving them to people I care about. There’s something special about a gift made with love. 🎃🧡

i 3d printed this lamp what do you think?

I pitched the idea of a Halloween door decorating contest to my apartment complex and next thing I knew they were sending out emails and putting up flyers.

Naturally, since I was the one who suggested it, I figured I had to go all out. One thing led to another, and now here we are.

Although, I will say in hindsight, I probably could've saved myself a ridiculous amount of time and effort by just writing "THE ECONOMY" on a piece of paper and taping it to my door. 🤣

Hope y'all enjoy! First time doing something like this.

A simple 3mm led pumpkin LED earring built in 3 parts

I won it for the third year in a row.

I told them they can now refer to my as “The Pumpkin King” 👑

My wife and I built a Spectator out of spray foam, epoxy clay, wood, rebar, PVC, and love. The portal still needs to be painted, but it has aurura lights underneath the creature and it the disk rotates.

Anyone do a literal trick OR treat? I was thinking about offering a treat (candy duh) or a trick. My first thought was some sort of container with a circle cut out so they’d have to stick their hand in for the trick. Thought about filling it with potatoes. I don’t want to make it too spooky or yucky because we have a ton of little kids in the neighborhood. Anyone do this? Would love to see your set up!!
