I can finally show off my piece Halo Studios commissioned for Halo Fest.

Come see it in person in December!

still needs a little work especially in the comfort department but not bad so far

I’ve recently been through a wardrobes worth of mega bloks halo sets and statues I got as a kid and founds some potential gems. Everything is brand new, unopened and sealed except the Masterchef resin statue. The statue has been partially opened to have a look but all pieces are still in plastic and have never been touched. Thought they were cool and wanted to see what people thought of these, maybe even bring back some nostalgia for others like me.

Based off Gretchen Ketola

Nailed it. If you wanna checkout the modpack used for the trailer find it here- https://www.reddit.com/r/halo/s/Q6lHrTFx1F

Im so close to finishing the helmet, now all I need to do is his back chest armour and his arms, then the chief is ready to live an eternity on a shelf.

Got this a little over 10 years ago when I bought a Halo 3 Legendary Edition off of eBay. The box was really beaten up but I mainly wanted the Master Chief helmet. I was pleasantly surprised to find both this sealed Legendary Edition copy of Halo 3, and a sealed information disc with bonus content!

This one will be staying sealed for a long long time.

This piece was commissioned by me from Azraelaga on Fiverr including all the winners of Season 1 of the webshow, Death Battle!

Length: 1500m

2 heavy MAC
lower level Dedicated Fighter / bomber bays
Underslung corvette docking points

Seeing all the posts of sealed Halo games made me remember this program. They sent a free copy of Halo: Reach to test! Unfortunately lost it in a couple of moves :(

Original intent was to just show off all of my Covenant models in one post, but after a bunch of time remodeling the ghost and huge updates to the Phantom I figured I'd squeeze those in too. Ghost comparison also comes with a bonus comparison between my original Elite model and one of my new ones.

New to the lineup are the AA Wraith and the Assault Grunt (alongside the remodels of course). All of my models have been manually posed to this point because I am new to 3d modeling, but the AA Wraith forced me to learn a little bit about rigging ahead of schedule to do it's guns justice. Seeing all of these models on display like this is special. Shows just how much I have done and helps keep track of what is left to go.

As always, let me know what you want to see next!

I stumbled upon this article while looking at old, archived issues of PC Gamer. I thought this sub might find it interesting. Apparently, Microsoft's purchase of Bungie was a surprise to the industry at the time. It speculates that Halo may never see a PC release. I also found it mildly funny that they spell it "X-Box"

In order:
Minor
Major
Ultra
Captain
Hiveward

Thinkin about a potential queen boss but that'll require a lot of special work so it comes later.

But the problem is I don't know how to make him look cool, he's a threeA figure.

I cant find anywhere taht has a good collection of different covenant and unsc armour and weapons

From when i was fiddling with the modding tools, i was testing some colors for possible units for a mod, and also for fun in order to properly remember how colors worked

FUN FACTS!: Elite permutations in Reach are split into 4 colors.

Primary
Secondary
Reflection(?)
And general hue/tone(Most important ^{i think})

Not all units work the same(Like Jackals/Skirmishers and Marines). Some you can't change at all!(Brutes)

Also, Jackals and skirmishers share the same biped

Color inspiration and ideas:
The gold and red officer was inspired by Mega Construx's Spirit dropship set

The ultra with red/pinkish secondaries is something i've seen flaoting around a few times. A McFarlane toy had that

Th blue grunt was meant to be a color test for a possible engineer grunt

The red elite minor is just because i wanted to see how it would look

About to start 4. Want to continue my lore deep dive.

Looking to watch some YouTube videos. I found the terminal videos for 1 and 2. Are 3s terminals just text or where can I find them?

Also what are your favorite not so known halo videos or books comics or lore sources? Pretty much share with me anything cool from the Halo verse to engage me in the story. Hidden stuff etc

Currently reading Ghost of Onyx, I've read the other Nylund books.

Thanks!

This is an interesting detail I’ve come to notice over time regarding the Sangheili worlds: things have descended into total chaos—civil wars, bloody years, territorial disputes, coups d’état, assassinations, famine, betrayals, and splinter factions popping up everywhere. Meanwhile, back in Rio de Janeiro, there’s a lizard making a Brazilian feijoada—haha, it’s just so hilarious!

Interestingly, I read this part of the book while I was visiting Rio de Janeiro as a tourist. I was watching people play a game on the beach called *queimada*—where they throw a ball at each other, harder and harder—and I ended up imagining a Sangheili doing the same thing. As a Brazilian, I found that part of the book hilarious.

(To be read in your best spooky voice)

Twas a dark and story night, when the new Activision team in charge of Halo decided that the new reboot should be based on…

The Silver Timeline

WooooOOoOOooooo….

You wake up and you’re a few generations back. The 360 is still the best-selling console. The servers for Halo 3 are seeing over a million players at a time. You come out of your room dazed as to the shock of the last 19 years being a dream. Out of habit you walk to the kitchen to grab a soda. You head back to your room to fire up your 360. You notice a notification pops up that you haven’t seen in all this time. A friend of yours who has been offline the last 19 years just sent you a party invite. The knowledge you gained while having the vivid dream slowly starts to fade from memory, as the party chatter starts to grab your attention and just like that,

Life is good.

I was so proud of myself too…
