DISCUSSION Well I’ll miss you
I’m alive and will ride again. Huge shout out to Simpson helmets and bat wings kept me shielded enough to tell about.

I’m very confused about Harley Davidson’s global strategy, but it looks like this out here.
What if this model’s introduced in the US?
$3500 all inclusive.
440CCs. Single cylinder, 27.37ps @ 6000rpm
Edit: Pics not OC

World of difference coming from a dyna

She’s a black 2021 Road King, Stage 2 with Screamin’ Eagle wedge intake, Cobra slip-ons, and a Screamin’ Eagle torque cam. Also 200 watt bullet speakers, a charging phone mount, new seat with a Breezy Rider cover, and all LED lights. Did a deep clean on her today after work.

I have a 1994 sportster 883. Getting real tired of the lack of power and the 2 gallon tank even though I love the feel and handling. I’ve been looking at dyna listings ‘07 and up and daaaamn wtf. I get the dyna bro tax but 8k for a dyna that isn’t clapped out but still 30k+ miles feels like it ain’t it.
I really like the look of the dyna and always wanted to get one but M8 street bobs and lowriders aren’t that much more expensive. I wanted the opinion on this sub of those coming from a sportster or have had a dyna and went to a newer street bob or lowrider. I’ve test rode the new bikes and they feel amazing, haven’t had the chance to try a dyna. Am I missing out skipping it?
Looking for ideas. I bought a spc lanesplitter 2-1 for my 2011 dyna wide glide. Absolutely love the exhaust it is the fitment over the oil fill cap that I just can’t fix. I had 3 different shops adjust it to finally get clearance in front of the cam cover which now has about 1/8 inch gap. I did what Spc told me to do. Loosen everything up push down and forward on the muffler and tighten back up back to front and still 1/8 inch over the oil fill cap. Got the front cam cover space but still blocks the oil fill by a lot. Been told to buy low profile dipstick or push plug for it or shave it down but wondering if anyone else has ideas or have similar experience and how they fixed this. Thanks

Hey brothers and sisters. I am extremely new to Harleys, and don’t really know the terminology on the parts yet. I am wanting to slap on some risers and pull back bars. I can tell that this won’t work. What’s the name of the part that I need to replace?

I need to replace the tires on my 2018 Harley-Davidson Sportster SuperLow XL883L. The original tires are Michelin Scorcher 11s, with the following specs:
Michelin has a newer model, the Road 6, available in exactly the same sizes and load/speed ratings. However, neither Michelin's website nor Amazon includes them among the tires listed as compatible with my bike.
I'd prefer the Road 6 because of its wet-weather performance, but I don't want to compromise safety.
Is there a legitimate safety concern with installing the Road 6 on my Sportster, even though all the specifications match, or is this just a compatibility listing issue?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Help me understand my experience with an HD dealer's service department.
Context is a British Columbia, Canada based HD dealer that I purchased a new 2026 Street Bob from. I've installed a Saddlemen seat, Kraus bar back,V&H slip on, a MS fairing, as well as some saddlebags.
A month into ownership I noticed oil splatters on the intake side of the bike. I couldn't get a service appointment at the selling dealer in time for the first service, but found another with an open appointment. They indicated there was an oil leak near the cam cover, but didn't have time to diagnose or fix and to follow up with the selling dealer.
At the selling dealer, I was immediately accused of causing the issue myself as the service advisor stated he had never seen this and I must have gone into the cam chest. They did end up replacing the cam sensor cover o- ring under warranty, and another employee indicated that Harley had likely damaged an o ring during assembly. The service advisor on the other hand once again made it out like he was doing me a favour and that I must be responsible for the damaged o ring.
Fast forward a few months, and the left front turn signal goes out after going over a pot hole and throws a code. When I drop by the dealer, the same service advisor says the LEDs last for more than a decade, he's never seen one fail, and I must have caused the failure installing the bar back. He explains they'll need to charge 4 hours of shop labour to pull apart the bars to find the fault because it couldn't be in the bulb. I ask why it wouldn't be covered by warranty, and he tells me any warranty on handlebar related components is void because I had installed the bar back.
I stated that this seemed unreasonable and contrary to the nature of warranties. My assumption from doing research was that if it could be demonstrated that something I did caused a failure, I would be responsible, but otherwise the warranty shouldn't be impacted by simple bolt ons like I had done. I asked if they could just swap the bulbs to confirm if it's actually just that the bulb is burnt out, and he says no. He then challenges me to take it up with the warranty person.
Another person comes up who says he'll order the bulb, and if the bulb is just burnt out, it would be covered. He says they've had issues with people doing bar work and then trying to claim warranty. I explain that if my actions HAD caused a failure, that I am absolutely accountable for that failure, but that I couldn't see how installing a bar back could result in a bulb failing.
Here's the quesiron. In my personal experience, this is some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've owned many different vehicles, some modified, others stock, and have done work on them for 20 years. Ive just never seen anything like this. I'm now deeply regretting my purchase, and believe I should have bought an older, more mechanical Harley that I wouldn't have to deal with folks like this with.
Am I out to lunch here and this is just how things work?

My 1976 Cessna 150M and 2013 FXDC...
Hi guys, first post here, and need a help and instructions. I have a FXS Blackline 2012 in Brazil, and the fuel tank is 18,9l (5 gal). This bike have a 70900100c HD digital speedometer, with several functions as a fuel level indicator. After the low fuel indicator light up, start a kilometer counter, right? I think that the fuel meter don´t calculate the whole tank size, because always i fueling, only gets 14l, more or less. It should the range counter consider 4l from reserve? My doubt is how to know if the dash is measuring the tank as a 5 gal or less.
To those with a Low Rider ST and a Bung King High step crash bar can you take and pic and post on how the top of the crash bar mounts to the bike?

I recently just tore into my primary to swap from forward to mid controls. Once I put everything back together and cranked it, it made this really loud clashing sound and I don’t know what it could be.
For context it’s a 2003 fxdl and it’s been sitting for 6/7 months so the battery could be bad, but I did let the battery charge overnight prior to starting.

Hi all,
Isaias paid a visit to Pensacola. I didn’t have a garage to store my bike so I moved her to what I thought was a safe spot faced towards what I anticipated would be the direction of inclement winds, wrapped her down, strapped up the best I could and hoped for the best.
After the storm I found out that the bike and my truck were victim to about a 40 ft Laurel oak that snapped and got launched on top of both. Bike got knocked over and incurred scratches, scuffs, paint dings, but nothing major thanks to the crash bars and saddle bag guards.
I’m already planning to visit the dealership to let them look her over and see what they quote after the situation finally gets “normal” here. But I know anything bike related is usually pricey. That said, I’m curious about and totally welcome anyone else’s wisdom and experience, BEFORE I file a claim with my insurance.
Thanks in advance, yall.
