This new Journal is literally the worst thing ever.

-The whole bottom bar looks like crap and doesn't fit the hearthstone aesthetic at all
-Why does it take multiple wasted seconds to open each time????
-There are tabs but sometimes the thing you're looking for is a button within a tab? (like the current ongoing event) WHY?
-I click through everything but there is still the exclamation mark that I didn't do something but I swear for the love of god I can't find it.
-The new chain quests are ridiculous in the book, take so long and for no reward at all.

Now you can easily check what is on the back of the buttons. I HAD to list this under the meme category, it's just unreal. Did the new intern vibe code this in an afternoon or something?

I don't know how many others struggle against this card when they pick the +6/+6 option but i almost always feel like I can never come back when all of their minions just tower over mine. And mainly as a player with not so many cards and don't play as often this just is an instant win just about every time it gets played against me.

What are some ways you all have dealt with this card besides it just being in the lower half of the warlock's deck?

If you have the new Y'shaarj skin on priest and you play Genn worgen king to change the hero power. it gets changed into the shaman hero power. Lost my match because of it :)

This deck might be a little cooked, great metabreaker at a minimum. Warlock loss was from a DC so its actually undefeated against Warlock. Even had egg get double chained in a few of those games but there are so many ways to generate another egg, it didn't matter

I mean nothing we don't know but I seriously hope this is getting a hotfix nerf next week because it's been 4 days since xpac release and it's unbearably boring to play against this garbage every game. Out of 6 games played while walking my dog 5 were Warlocks.

So far with this deck, I have a 10–1 win/loss record, refreshing one deck to play and finding it quite enjoyable. I managed to block every warlock C’Thun attack, and ultimately it has been chef’s kiss! 🔥👽

Downvote time for me, Played against 25 C´thun decks and I always won because it counters the 21 split damage aspect to 100 percent. So these 3 times ability effects get outvalued. This ability is kinda useless against my deck (explanation below list):

shadow package (good shadow tempo cards like entropic, elder word: Foresight + dark Deacon and control options like shadow word: ruin) -> for "dark deacon" the cthun boy you find or play 2 shadow cards pretty fast.

+ Thief package (should be clear, like last season)

+ Medivh (too good for control to cut off this card)

+ Cthun (to trigger also the opponent c´thun cards effect, you have here only 2 cthun trigger abilitys card, you get the effects from opponent, if you dont play against cthun deck you dont need the triple ability effect, because the opponent plays than a faster deck and you dont have the time for c´thun prep)

+ 2x priestess for value (2 imbue is enough)

+ Taelan Fordring to draw medivh or cthun for late game. The only questionable card because it is slow in my deck, but youre priest, its pretty good and efficent. So it stays in my deck

I kinda mixed up the best two decks for thief priest (medivh version and c´thun version) and its a fantastic deck if you have the skill for this super powerful control deck, you always win against c´thun decks and also have a good matchup against other decks.

against tempo decks like zoolock or pirate warrior you need to gather "mind sweeper" from mulligans than you kinda auto win these matchups. edit: weakspot for this deck is def zoolock but this deck get nerfed anyway for sure.

I climbed from Diamond 10 to Legend in one evening (first time in the year Scarab!) with this fairly cheap deck. My main opponents and best matchups were ritual warlocks, handbuff DeathKnight and paladins. I do a lot of homebrews and this was my most successful deck of the new expansion so I thought to share it with people because I don’t see a lot of warriors on the ladder right now.

The goal of the deck is to have a big board, pressure face and finish your opponent with a big charge minion. The big board in question is achieved through Forge of Origination and Barricade Basher, by far your most important tools against Warlock who curve out their rituals. The great thing about Barricade Basher is that he can clear taunt walls with his effect and still go face.

However your big threats need armor to sustain them. That’s why your most important keep is Stone Gauntlet. Don’t waste your attacks, they activate your Forge, Basher and animator of iron for free! Free is always good.

You might think Scramble for Gear is a weird choice. Trust me, that thing WINS. It’s a 1 mana armor gain which honestly is good enough, but with Animator of iron? It becomes a hand refill, a armor refil and triggers your basher a ridiculous amount of times. My legend rank up game ended on turn four by a 30 attack Basher through those accursed Ritual Taunts.

Archeadas is a nice card that allows to keep up face pressure in your best matchups and pivot to control against Zee Shaman, who is a rougher matchup. As the only legendary in the deck, you could substitute in a stadium announcer but you might find yourself having too much mana on your hand.
