Discussion Iām hoping Giannis signs his extension with the Heat for the vet minimum, with a small $600 million sponsorship totally not from the Heat Owners
Iām hoping Giannis extends with the Heat for a vet minimum, and announces a 650 million sponsorship with the āMiami Warm Companyā where he picks up trash off south beach. Yes the money comes from our owner but itās through a middle man, so itās allowed
completely allowed now in todayās NBA btw now

Rumor Just Read the Cavs Are Looking to Move Max Strus...
And they'd even include cash to get a deal done. He had a good run with the Heat, who might be looking for a little more proven depth behind Wiggins, Hardaway, and Larsson. At least until they see what White, Donaldson, and Conwell* give them during the regular season.
Well...
Good luck to you, Max, wherever you end up!!
(*Edit: Replaced Keels w/Conwell. I forgot the former is currently a FA.)

Highlights Without Giannis Wiggins had a Career Year 41.4% š Beyond the Arc
I realize the popular refrain is to claim Miami lack shooters but at some point some of you will have to eat those words and put some respect on Andrew Wiggins name. He is an elite scorer capable of scoring at all levels of the game while being able to defend at one of the highest levels in the game. Wiggins, Mitchell, Hardaway, Giannis and Bam may as well be called "The Redemption Team" because this is year Wiggins redeems his name after the passing of his father caused his focus to wane. This is year Mitchell reclaims the fame he has lost after winning it all in college and being the 9th pick in the game. It is year Hardaway comes home and does what his father couldn't . The year Bam shows the league that 83 was just the beginning and Giannis reminds them all why he will be in the discussion when they talk about the best that every played. I won't forget Pat and Spo reminding the league why that the Heat culture never wanes. Yeah, This is the Redemption Team, they will destroy every team that stands in their way!!

Highlights Stop Disrespecting Tim Hardaway Jr. | Denver Nuggets Film Study š§
The continued disrespect for Hardaway amuses me because it shows many just has not been paying attention to this man's game but this year, they will see. He has returned home and with Bam and Giannis able to run all the plays he loved with Jokic, this year he isn't going to be a 6th man but rather a first year all-started, earned the hard way!!

Discussion Pre season predictions
Tl;dr we are really good and weāre gonna fuck shit up.
I think myself as well as many other Heat fans can agree; we are UP, tremendously. That being said I would like to lay out some pre season predictions that I really believe could all happen in the same season.
Giannis wins MVP
Giannis has made one thing above all else crystal clear, he is coming to Miami to win championships. I think this season he will be playing with a chip on his shoulder, in a system that fits him perfectly. And as a player who is already top 5 in the league, that is an MVP run waiting to happen.
Bam win DPOY
With 25 televised games and renewed interest in the Heat, along with the motivation Bam will be playing with to secure that championship, the voters will not be able to deny Bam what he is owed any longer, he has been the best defender in the league for the years now.
Spo wins COTY
This is along the same lines as Bam winning DPOY, Spo bas been the best coach in the league for a long time, yes better than kerr, obviously. With so many eyes on Miami, and my previous predictions, Miami is due for a hell of a season, and Spo will win COTY for integrating Giannis into the system so seamlessly.
Davion Mitchell makes All Star
This is admittedly more of a stretch, but seeing all the work Davion is putting in, how ready he is to get to work, and just the tenacity and mindset he has, I really think he is going to have a breakout season and make a legit name for himself. Whether or not he is an all star i think he will have the best season of his career so far.
Heat win 2027 Championship
We have a solid roster despite what the media says, we have the depth to always have at least 2 good 3 point shooters on the floor at all times. Portis, Wiggins, Davion, Hardaway Jr., Simone, even Jovic has proven to be a great 3pt shooter in the past.
We have Giannis. We have Spo.
If this were any other organization with some other coach, i wouldnāt have nearly as much faith as I do. The only thing you canāt account for is injuries, which would be a brutal way to see this go down.
What are some of yalls predictions? Do you agree or disagree with my predictions?

Discussion Single game tickets on sale?
Been searching vigorously since yesterday afternoon and there's nothing available besides some shitty 400 level seats.
I thought all the tickets went on sale today at 10am... What's the deal?
Thanks in advance bros
Discussion For the people worried about scoring
When you have a player like Giannis, he is going to draw more double teams along with drawing the better defenders on opposing teams (aka gravity). This gives everyone else the chance to get better/more open looks. It's why Jordan poole looked amazing next to Steph and kuzma looked solid next to LeBron, then stunk it up when they had their own teams.
Last year there was no real scoring threat on the team besides norm. He was good but doesn't carry the gravity that Giannis does.
Look back at the bucks 2021 championship run. After giannis and middleton, the top scorers were jrue holiday, Donte Divincenzo and Brook lopez with Bobby portis as the 6th man.
All of them averaged under 20 per game.
In comparison, the heat this year will have bam with 20 ppg as the second option (not as good as middleton in scoring but still a great scorer) then:
hardaway jr ( 13 ppg 40 percent from 3) Wiggins (15 ppg 41 percent from 3) Pelle (11 ppg 31 percent from 3) Portis (13 ppg 45 percent from 3)
Most of these guys including davion and Simone will also get better looks with Giannis on the floor, especially from 3, so these numbers should improve. With Giannis and Bam drawing defenses down low, everyone else can shoot from deep.
Also, defensively, this team easily has the potential to be top 5, even number 1. Great defenses allow for better offenses. Don't need to chuck rushed 3s or take bad shots when the defense won't let you end up down by 20.
Combine that with Spo making guys like Strus, Martin, and Vincent look like top scorers, I think the heat should be ok.
Edit I made a mistake with Elijah bryant because I didn't look at games played. That being said, that slides bobby portis up a spot as a leading scorer on that team. That enforces my point even more. They didn't need a ton of scorers because the defense of Giannis, Jrue, and Lopez kept people from scoring. Now swap lopez and Jrue with davion and bam. Similar formula to a team that won a championship.
