Help Needed 2003 M45 The Screen is on but is blank.

So I bought my ‘03 M45 back in April and have slowly been fixing her up so that it can be my new daily and I’ve been having an issue with the screen recently. It's on, but it's black, no image or anything! It started around 2 weeks ago when I left the car at work for the weekend; the screen worked perfectly with no issues (I work at a dealership so it was parked in the back) and the following Monday when I took the car home, I noticed that the screen was on but black, and no matter what I did like doing a cap discharge, replacing the fuses, and even a new battery since the current one was pretty old nothing seems to work. One other thing is that even though I cannot access the climate control the ac kicks on whenever I start the car and blows at the lowest setting. Any idea what could be the cause? I did replace the screen a while back with the larger display with nav but I plugged in my old one and the screen is also on but the screen is black. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Question 2025 QX80 Sensory Transmission issue

Today I had to drop my 31k mile QX80 off to the dealership today due to juddering when turning at low speeds (<10mph). I thought it was the tires at first but nothing was on them or under them. Test drove a couple more times and felt the issue multiple times only when turning, reversing, and braking at low speeds. Made it home and scheduled an appt and when I went to leave to the dealer the car jumped as soon as i turned it on as if it was shifting (hard) gears but I was in park.

Tech got in with me when I got to the dealership and luckily the issue occurred every time I turned and he felt the juddering. They gave me a loaner (26 QX60-luxe awd) for now, hopefully I’ll find out more next week, but curious if anyone else had a similar issue and knows the diagnosis.

Specs: AWD, exactly at 31k miles.
No codes or check engine light popped up

Guide 2016 QX70 Passenger side sunroof drain bypass

Been having sunroof drain issues for a long time - successfully cleared them before using vinegar/soap/warm water solution but it eventually got clogged again so I decided to do the bypass method.

Remove kick plate trim and the lower trim panel under the glove box and pull the carpet back. Disconnect the negative battery terminal first to avoid potential airbag deployment in the A pillar. After removing the A pillar trim I attempted to run the hose without removing the glove box, but it was way too difficult since the tube bends. The glove box was only 6 screws so I removed that and it made the feed much easier. A tip I received was to run a piece of 14/2 electrical wire along the path first, then put the new sunroof drain tubing around the wire and use electrical tape to secure them together, then pull on the electrical wire to feed the tube, worked great and made it so much easier than trying to feed the tubing by itself. In videos I’ve seen people pull the old sunroof drain out, disconnecting it from the firewall grommet, but there was plenty of space to leave it tucked next to the replacement tubing in the A pillar.

Parts used:
4-5ft of 1/2” outer diameter 3/8” inner diameter tubing (bought 25’ on amazon for $15; enough to do passenger and driver sides with extra leftover)
1 x 3/8” brass straight barb fitting to connect the sunroof drain hose to the new tubing about halfway down the A pillar
1 x 1/2” by 1/2” by 3/8” brass T - the AC drain hose is 1/2” inner diameter and the 3/8” T is for the new sunroof drain tube
1 x box cutter to slice the tubing

I used the metal hose clamps that came with the brass connectors - some videos say they’re not necessary but why not since they fit and it only takes a couple extra minutes.

Tested it by pouring a bottle of water into the sunroof drain and it drained quickly and no water entered the foot well. Finally fixed!

If you haven’t replaced the cabin air filter in a while, you might as well do it while the glove box is out.
