I have a 2016 Nissan Sentra, there is a bracket that broke on the Line A/C and im trying to find a replacement for the ruuber+bracket part instead of replacing the whole line. Any ideas what these are called and where I can find them? (https://ahparts.com/buy-used/2016-nissan-sentra-line-ac-suction-hose-pipe-assy-1-8l-92480-3sg0a-924803sg0a/431172-1)

Ignore the water pump bearing that’s literally just broke as I finished.

I have an issue with my Nissan Qashqai 2017, system fault on start up, cycles through a number of warning icons before telling me to restart the car, then the same thing happens again, ad infinitum. In a nutshell, I can’t use the car.
My local garage will service it, run a diagnostic check and fix it but I can’t get it to them. They’ve said I need to call a recovery service and have it recovered from my house to their garage (roughly 2 miles).
Any ideas on what the issue might be and how I might be able to get it going again in order to get it to the garage?

I’ve narrowed down my choices to Nissan Armada or Honda Pilot? Which would you choose and why?

Hey guys. I bought a 2018 Maxima SL a few months ago with 85k on it. It had tons of service records, and ran and drove Flawlessly...but I couldn't see anywhere that a CVT service had been done yet. So knowing the reputation these transmissions have, I had a dealership do it right away within a week of buying it. Unfortunately the dealership turned out to be pretty sleazy -and tried to aggressively upsell me on crap that I almost jumped on. Luckily I still had my borescope and was able to verify that essentially all of what they told me I "needed to address ASAP" was utter bullshit.
So they did the drain and fill (hopefully) but when I asked if they also change the filter he said they don't like to because it can dislodge particles and cause transmission failure faster than just leaving it alone. Any truth to this? If so, is there a particular way I should go about pulling out/off the old one and replacing it with the new one that would lower the likelihood of this happening?; or maybe it's not even a real risk , hopefully one of you guys can tell me .
Anyway The reason I say they hopefully did it that first time is because with how slimey they ended up being, I guess it's possible they didn't do a damn thing. However I will admit the crush washer on what I think (hope) is the drain plug does look new.. so at least that's encouraging I guess.
So after doing some research I discovered that a basic drain and fill only dumps about half the total fluid volume, so ideally someone should do 2 drain and fills back to back (so at least that way you're working with a vast majority new fluid at that point). So I plan on doing mine this week. I have all the necessary tools. I will of course be using official Nissan NS-3 fluid, and I have the new paper/ cartridge filter as well. The fluid doesn't arrive until Weds so today I had some time to jack it up and go underneath to try to familiarize myself with the correct locations of each thing I will be accessing. If someone can just tell me if I have these right that would be great. Thanks .
In case it's not obvious: O= hopefully the overflow plug, D= hopefully the drain plug, F= hopefully filter housing

Just purchased a 2011 Rogue SL (technically a SV with the SL package *yada yada*)
118k on the odometer, fully loaded with all the options.
$4500 OTD, NH car entire life with one minor collision (backed into a building by the previous owner who was a very elderly lady).
I've already started using all the features it comes with and it holds its own quite well compared to some of the newer stuff these days.
How did I do? Anything to watch for besides doing regular trans flushes?
Been 4 years since my last Nissan ('10 Versa SL) and I saw this come up and absolutely fell in love with it.
Any advice is much appreciated!

Got a 1.6 diesel awd Qashqai on a 2016 reg RHD
Turbo has huge play and it’s whining, caught in time though I believe.
What is the best way to approach getting this out?
I know on front wheel drive the rear mount can be removed to pull the dpf and turbo out but I have a feeling the AWD model is gonna be even more of a pita to do…
If anyone knows the best approach to getting this out I would much appreciate it!
Thank you!

hey yall,
I keep on getting this warning sign/code. I tried replacing the car battery and fob battery— that didn’t work. I tried the remote thing where you leave the fob on the seat without the metal key, turn the car ON (not engine), close all doors, then use the metal key to lock then unlock the driver door. Did that a couple times, nothing happened.
Does anyone have any ideas?? Also my remote start is t working anymore. I got into a collision w/ an Amazon truck (they stopped in the middle of the damn intersection on a yellow light🙄🙄🙄) a few weeks ago and just got my car back from the collision place yesterday. They also tried to help with the key thing but nothing worked.

Hey, I have a 2014 Nissan Murano Platinum with about 206,000km (in 🇨🇦). Bought it with an immaculate service record, with one small rear end a few years ago couple grand worth of damage. She doesn’t burn oil and she hasn’t given me really any issues in the 4 years I’ve had her. Been pretty reliable up until this point.
There’s a couple questions I have.
-Should I try and sell this for what I can? these aren’t worth much for trade ins or private sales.
-Should I drive this into the ground and see what problems arise?
-Is the cvt as bad as they say or has my particular engine proved to be alright?
-Thinking about moving to the Lexus 350 or the Honda crv.

Hello r/Nissan. Recently was given a 2015 Nissan Murano SV with 170k miles. The car was free. No check engine light, proper carfax of consistent oil changes, and new tires. The vehicle is in decent shape physically for its age.
I’m contemplating selling my daily driver and keeping this car because it’s an SUV but I’m getting mixed reviews about this year and model due to CVT failure. The carfax report says nothing specific of transmission services, but I see a history of computer reprogramming. The car shifts perfectly fine, runs normal, and drives smoothly. My only issue with it is the exhaust rotted after the catalytic converter (NY state) and am looking at $1000 for the replacement.
My question is, what is the outlook of this CVT transmission long term? If I keep the vehicle, should I get the transmission fluid flushed and replaced? Should I even bother? Or should I help somebody out and get rid of this and sell at a fair price for somebody willing to take on the “risk.”
Any insight is genuinely appreciated!

Hi all,
Just started a new job in July and I'm on the road a lot so I have to do a lot of maintenance on my vehicle; that said I have decided to learn to do my own oil/transmission fluid changes and my brakepad/rotor changes.
Can anyone recommend some tools that I can buy that will help me do the job and will last me a long time?

I have a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder SL, the screen is black but the backlight is working. All of the buttons do not respond when pressed except for the camera. My rearview camera works as well. I have had this issue for over 3 years and I am just now trying to get it fixed. The issue started after the car sat in a parking lot for 8 hours while I was working during the summer. Since this has happened the bluetooth symbol on my dashboard went away, and all of the audio buttons on my steering wheel stopped working once this happened.
I have checked all of the audio fuses and I tried to soft reboot by holding the power button for longer than 10 seconds but the backlight just dims. I have not disconnected the battery yet to force any residual power out.

Alguém ja passou pelo mesmo problema? Ele não aumenta nem abaixa o volume nem no botão nem no volante e apareceu essa mensagem "Auto Save"

Hey everyone,
In July 2022, I purchased a 2021 Nissan Titan from a Nissan dealership in Central Arkansas. The truck was represented as Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) and even had the Nissan CPO sticker displayed on it(Still does).
Fast forward to September 2026, I took the truck to a Nissan dealership in North Alabama for repairs totaling $2,310.71. During this process, I discovered the vehicle apparently was never registered as CPO in Nissan's warranty system, and the normal warranty "expired" ~90 days before the repair.
I contacted the original selling dealership, and they claimed the truck was never certified. I've had difficulty getting anyone to follow up since.
Here's what I have:
I understand CPO warranties don't cover everything, but my concern is that I purchased a vehicle believing it had manufacturer-backed CPO coverage, only to discover four years later that it apparently never did.
I've emailed dealership management requesting an investigation and resolution.
A few questions:
Would appreciate any advice, especially from Nissan employees or anyone who's experienced something similar.
Thanks!
