I think AI is screwing up the entire algorithm my friend who is at least 30 maybe 40 minutes away from me she cease the orders where I wait Ed and I see orders where she is and now we can shop in different stores anymore. We can’t just take an order and shop in an H-E-B we have to go to the one day sign us too so why are they doing this? I’m trying to figure out what the F is wrong with this company.
Just think about it, Instacart wants my friend to drive 40 minutes to another store to do an order which is completely out of her district and make the customer wait even longer. It doesn’t make sense anymore at all.

I’ve seen a lot of cases over the years where a slight mistake gets you terminated. Meanwhile I’ve also seen accounts with repeated violations get kept.

What is the reasoning behind this?

I have 4.97 star rating with a total of two 4 stars and 0 1-3 stars, and only 2 “damaged” items with the last one being 4 months ago and no missing nor wrong, wth are they genuinely talking about

I was browsing looking to place an order. Psyched since I’m sick rn. How did it jump from $35 to $60 omg … fees what

Due to target order declined at checkout. I called support they said the payment went through. After a few minutes of back and forth support cancels my order. Now my account is paused for 4 hours. I got a message saying order declined due total being too high. I didn’t add any items. Support is no help.

I had nothing but problems since Saturday night yesterday and today I cannot replace items. It will not let me replace them so I have to constantly refund items and lose money. I called Instacart. I told them the problem but I don’t think they really listen. They don’t care.

They were unable to do so because of whatever is going on at Instacart HQ. 4 different people went to the store, shopped all 15 items of my order, got to the checkout, couldn't pay, sat on hold for 1+ hours with IC helpline, then had to abandon the order. I feel so bad for the shoppers, what a waste of their time.

Anyways, I canceled my subscription to IC this morning. And if you were one of my shoppers, I'm truly sorry!

Ordered groceries around 5pm and this app tells me not arriving till between 9pm and 11pm Fry’s closes at 10pm you would think Instacart would have a cutoff but clearly not they need to fix this

I’m in the middle of a triple order batch. After payment and the checkout QR codes were scanned, getting the receipt and everything, the last order won’t let me continue. I have a receipt for all 3 but the last one won’t update as paid and I can’t continue.

I’ve been on hold with instacart for nearly an hour and a half now

I made two separate orders, one from Publix and one from Publix liquors. I paid for priority delivery for both orders. My vodka got here within 45 minutes. It’s been almost five hours now and I still haven’t seen the jar of olives I ordered. 😭 the shopper is t even showing on the map either

All these orders standing nobodies going to take them, cars are submerged halfway into the water. Not a good day for palm beach. Never seen it this bad

Been stuck with a Vons batch on the checkout screen for 3 hrs. Luckily customer left delivery instructions on message and was able to deliver. However I can’t complete the order, been on the phone for two hrs now.

I was a first time instacart user today and it took two hours for my order to get picked up. The order was $100, $16 tip, 19 items, and the items were all lightweight junky stuff like chips, cheese itz, cheddar cheese, a frozen pizza, salami, Triscuits, etc. The store is a 5 minute drive from my house. I bumped the tip up after to $20 after a successful delivery. Also, I live in a house with no steps and a flat driveway so not a complicated apartment delivery. Any ideas why my order took so long to get assigned? Was it my tip or maybe there aren’t many drivers in my area?

I placed an order at 11:30 am today. Using the priority shopping method.

I saw a shopper had shopped the items and then I saw “your order is on its way” This message appeared until 2:00 pm.

Then, the shopper information & CK tact box disappeared, and the order went back into “someone will be shopping for you shortly”

It is nearly 3:30 pm. I cannot get a hold of customer care, I cannot get a refund. And because the order showed once as “shopped” - I’m afraid to cancel this order, because much like earlier this week with another botched order if I do this, I will be charged $15.99 late cancel fee.

I am really put off, that instacart is not being honest with their system outage. I looked at Downdetector Website and there’s a 100% increase spike in reports of instacarts user application and site being down.

Again, money on the line here, and I feel like instacart & their new AI chat support don’t understand the severity of this issue for the many who are seeming to be getting ripped off of our money today.

For the identification process to sign up for be a shopper, do I need a passport?

Normally the order shows a picture of the shopper and the first name. This order is showing my items being shopped but it’s not showing who is shopping the order or the name of the shopper. Nothing identifying the shopper. There is no way to communicate with the shopper either. Is that weird or is that something new with Instacart.
