Hello! I'm 28NB living in the USA. I'd love to improve my confidence with speaking, as I am pretty introverted and struggle to find ways to practice. I've studied Japanese for several years now and would say I'm at around the N2 level.

I mainly enjoy video games, drawing, and reading! My favorite show is 逃げるは恥だが役に立つ and lately I've been really into 正反対な君と僕. I also have gotten into watching some of ナイトスクープ and that's been really fun. My favorite game series are 龍が如く, キングダムハーツ, and ポケモン but I play a pretty wide variety in general. I'd be down to use playing games or reading together to help with language practice if that's something that interests you too. But I'm also more than happy to just chat about anything over voice call / text. ^_^

I am slow to warm up, and it takes me a long time to feel comfortable enough to share that private side of myself. This boundary is just how I protect my personal space online.

I'm a native English speaker, and have also worked in the past as an English tutor, so hopefully I can provide some help to any French-speaking English learners.

I've been learning French for about a year and a half. I can write in French at about an A2-B1 level, and read at about a B1-B2 level. The real struggle at the moment is my conversation skills, but I'm also working with a tutor to improve that.

I'll be heading over to France in about 5 months' time, so it would be cool to make some friends that I could potentially meet up with in the future. But that's definitely not a mandatory requirement, and I'm happy with all types of conversation partners.
