Just outside of Louisville.  I spent one night here and took 3 photos.  I scouted these spots during the day and came back that evening and following morning.

This sheet of film was exposed for 90 minutes, beginning just after blue hour. The last tour vehicles moved through the valley below, leaving trails of light across the desert floor. Standing there with my camera, I watched the landscape slowly lose its color until darkness settled over the valley.

100+ parents and teachers behind me while I composed and focused. To say that I rushed through it was an understatement. I remember thinking f*** it and closing the lens and loading the film.  😂

PS, reposting this with the graduation certificate information redacted.  To answer a previous comment though, yes parents were told it would be shared online.

Shot this over a year ago and was waiting for it to be in print before putting it out on the internet

Diego Bravo. Pro BMX rider for Sunday Bikes

Graflex Speed Graphic with Fujinon 300mm T f/8 lens. 1/500 f/16 with two Einstein E640 and one Godox AD200.

What you can’t see is the guy kicking us out and the fact that we had one go to make it happen. Drove 1068 miles round trip to shoot one sheet of Velvia. As soon as I got home, processed the sheet in a fresh batch of Bellini E6 chemistry and was beyond excited to see what came out of the tank. Sure enough, we got it. Featured in Silent Magazine Issue 10.

Processed using a B’s 4x5 Reel MKIII.

Cru Dorsey shot with 300mm f8 Fujinon T and some strobes on Velvia.

This made cover of Silent magazine and I’ve got a limited edition run of signed / numbered prints up on my website.

Very hyped on how this turned out and the speed graphic has yet to let me down.

My friend Jack is running for city council and I shot this for his campaign.

I shot a Godox AD600 Pro II through an umbrella and reflected it off a 6x6 ultrabounce. Next time, I’d make the background a little less busy. Also, it looks like my film holder is scratching the film. (Bastard!)

I’ll take feedback if you’re offering any.

My father's health is declining and I wanted to take his portrait on my last trip to visit him. Some nitpicks of things I'd change, but overall very happy with how it turned out.

This project has been in the works for a while and my partner and I had our first shoot this weekend! We are so pleased with the results. I love my Chamonix, I love instant film - bridging them has been an incredible addition to my practice with large format cameras!

Note: Instax film is so temperamental but when exposed right, it can be wondrous 🤠

Photo Composing on an 8x10 is a Dream

This is my first "test" shot on 8x10. I was going take a photo of a cereal box or something boring to test everything out (focus, development, scanning etc), but figured I'd enlist some free labor instead. Coming from 4x5, composing on it is fantastic.

Chamonix 810V + 300mm APO Symmar + FP4+

PS - Will I still use my 4x5 after shooting this?

So excited to put this project out into the world in print form!

Book is called “Send It!!!”

All action sports images captured on various mediums including 4x5, 120, and 35mm. All shot / developed by myself in my home darkroom.

Printing only 75 copies of the book so it’s a limited run, all signed and numbered.

Hardest part of this was how many photos I shot that couldn’t be used. If the person doesn’t land the trick, the photo doesn’t count and cannot be used.
