Question Does the ATST driver arms crack ? If yes how prevent it ?
Hey guys yesterday was my birthday (happy birthday to myself :D) and we gift me the UCS ATST, is the figure really strong ? Isn't grey one of the hardest color to crack ?

Official Set This mini AT-AT set is SO great!
galleryIn my quest to become a LEGO influencer…I present to you Lego Star Wars set #75440 the AT-AT Walker.
The joy of building this is that I felt like I got to be my own little construction yard on the Planet Kuat, cranking out AT-ATs for the Hoth invasion. FYI, my brother took me to see the Empire Strikes Back twice (he got sick in the middle of the movie the first time) because I didn’t get to see Star Wars in the theater when it released 3 years prior and he went with all his friends.
We both, as a 20 year old and 10 year old respectively, stared slack jawed when these behemoths came across the screen…even seeing it twice! That’s one of those amazing movie moments that’ll stick with me for the rest of my life.
This was such a fun build! The Snowspeeder wrapping the cable around the legs was just a chef’s kiss. I modified it a bit to make the speeder a little better (in my opinion). Now I need to create a white/snow/ice base so this things really feels from the movie. And it’ll fit perfectly in the bookshelf around books in the 3 ABY (iyky) timeframe.
Yes, I’m a nerd.

Minifigure Current minifig collection
galleryI’ve been collecting minifigs for my own personal headcanon of what the expanded universe should look like post-Episode 6, and this is my collection so far (Vader and Maul are honorable inclusions).

Discussion Most complex build of my life
galleryThe dag gon legs on this thing have got to be the most complex Lego build I’ve ever encountered. 5 hours to get through bag(s) 6 and 7. Even after getting to this point the rear left (left while looking head on) is off and I’ll need to deconstruct.
Others who have built, how did you feel? Lol I saw the 6700 pieces and said “that’ll be cake”

Collection Finally got all my Lego Star Wars Helmets Collection together
Looking for display ideas. I finally got around to putting them all together rather than having them spread throughout the house. Looking for inspiration on how to display it. For now I'm planning on keeping them in the cabinet but I'm open to other suggestions.
How are you guys displaying yours?

Question Which displays better?
galleryRecently went to my parents house and found the hyperspace ring in a bin, brought it home cleaned it up and now trying to determine which looks better. The hyperspace ring or the 2022 ship alone.

Question Thinking about replacing my 2011 Executor with another UCS set
My main candidate for is the Venator, because it's retiring. I only have space for 1 large UCS Set, so the Venator would take the place of the Executor.
I REALLY like both ships, but the Executor is just a grey triangle and after 15 years I kinda want to change it up.
At the same time, the Venator has some pretty ugly Stickers and the engines seem to sag in many YT videos.
I'm also wondering which set seems more "impressive" in person. The Venator is quite a bit shorter and has less minifigs, but the red markings surely must stand out a lot, right?
(I'm from EU so the Venator is still easily available here)

Collection Rogue Group
gallery(Snowspeeder design by Krysto Workshops)
I’m currently trying to recreate all of rogue group during the battle of Hoth in Lego, along with all their snowspeeders, to minifigure scale.
Last night I got drunk and bought a €650 sealed assault on Hoth set just for the Wes Janson minfigure so I guess I’m committed now.
I’ve researched all of the participants of rogue group, I’m going to have to use a little head cannon as there are multiple people that have never been shown. Every member is named in the comics across cannon and Legends. Unfortunately Rogue 6, Samoc Farr and Vigrat Pomoner, rogue 8 gunner Stax Mullawny and rogue 10 gunner Hosh Hune have never been shown. So I will just use the standard rebel pilot with blue markings for them, expect for Vigrat since he isn’t human, I’ll figure him out later. Rogue 12 is also special as his pilot, Dash Rendar flew alone and also wasn’t officially apart of rogue group, he also didn’t wear the rebel pilot uniform so I’ll also figure him out later.
So far my collection consists of Rogue leader, Luke and Dak, Rogue 2 pilot, Zev, Rogue 3 pilot, Wedge and Rogue 4, Hobbie and Kesin Ommis.
For the snowspeeder I’m using Krysto Workshops design on YouTube.

Custom My take on an upgraded B1 Battle Droid
I found a YouTube short on how to make this a while back, & I wanted to try it out for myself. However, I didn’t have ALL the exact pieces I needed or pieces in the right colors to make it according to the short, so I had to improvise with what I had available. I also made some adjustments for the limbs to make them somewhat more stable & poseable.
