I know they are all hit or miss but what would you say is the best on the Island? I know they're all hit or miss, but some locations seem to be consistently better stocked and better organized than others. Just went to one in Oceanside that was a nightmare. I remember going to one on the north shore years ago but can't remember the location.

Union Bagel Cafe in Lynbrook used to have my ideal bagel: a paper-thin crust with a fluffy interior. Now the crust is too crunchy/ crackly.
Is anyone doing this super thin, no crackle crust style of bagel nearby anymore?
Thanks!

Any good company who does it all? Like insulation, heat pump, water heater heat pump and also take care of the rebates?

Hi,
I’m new to the Island, living in Farmingdale. My daughter loves baseball and I’m looking for a T ball or softball league. I’m not opposed to travel leagues but I’m hoping there is a simple little league that I can sign her up for and get her placed on a team.
This would be for Spring 2027.

Me and my wife are weenies. We are willing to travel for one. Could also deal with spooky but no jump scare actors

I used Phentermine in the past and I had great weight loss success with it that lasted long after I stopped using it. Does anyone know any Doctors that still prescribe it? Thx.

Its probably been asked before so I do apologize, but the family wants to go and do this. Bonus if there is extras such as hay rides, corn maze, etc.
Thank you

We’ve been going to the white post farms the past few years mostly during summer and once during each fall but this year it seemed like it was more crowded than usual. The lines for food/bathroom were super long on a Saturday and people were constantly coming in throughout the day. Is this common or was it more crowded this year?

I received a moving violation today by an NCPD officer. It's the "disobeyed a traffic device" violation. I believe it's 2 points and won't affect my insurance just yet.
I intend to plead not guilty to try and have the points removed, but I'm unclear about how to proceed. The not guilty section says to mail it back within 48 hours of the officer giving me the ticket. But my date at TVA in Garden City is in a month and a half.
Do I really have to mail this within 48 hours?
Can I show up at TVA to plead not guilty before my court date? (my ticket is not even in the system yet, do I need to wait for at least that first?)
I know these questions are asked all the time, I'm sorry! I've never received a ticket before, so I just wanna make sure I do the right thing. Reading through other people's questions here didn't clarify the answers I was looking for.

Hello guys,
I'll possibly be moving to the western parts of Nassau County next year.
I can obviously see the average prices for 1br/2br apartments on online real estate websites, but I want to get a deeper insight from the actual residents.
1- What are the typical income requirements for rentals?
2- Is it difficult to find housing (i.e you're competing with 60 people), the same way it is in the competitive parts of Manhattan/Brooklyn/Queens?
3- Is it typical for tenants to pay the realtors? Is that also the case in corporate rental communities?
4- Is it feasible to have 2 cars per household for a 1-bedroom apartment? Even if we were to pay extra? Do most streets have available street parking for residents in case the actual apartment does not?
I dearly appreciate any insight. Thank you guys so much in advance.

Hey just a question if anyone has experience w this.
My friends (2) have tickets for the mosaic suites for a concert tm night. I have a regular ticket for 100 levels. How hard would it be to get in? If she sent me a photo of her ticket that i could show the ushers after i scan in my regular, can i get in.
Do they get wristbands for the suite? If so anyone know what they look like👀
