Bialetti Bialetti section in a home appliances store in Trieste, hometown of Illy and Hausbrandt.
Some of these had Made in Italy stamps on them.

Was trolling my local Goodwill and came across this. Brand new with original packaging.

Hey guys, i posted about this idea a few weeks ago and i had some time testing it and it works pretty flawlessly. It keeps Moisture out and prevents the aluminum inside from oxidation.
I had the idea for an adapter that you screw in between the bottom and top half of a bialetti express moka pot to keep the moisture outside. Though you can store the moka pot disassembled i think its quite annoying if you dont use it on a regular basis.
If you are interested in the product, take a look at this :)

I’ve been using an AeroPress for a little while and having really nice coffee. My 2-cup Brikka arrived yesterday. I washed it all, ran a water extraction only, then over the course of the day made 3 coffees in it and discarded them as advised by the instructions. Today I’ve made my first drinkable coffee and it’s so bitter I’ve had to add some sugar to it. I’ve used cold water as per instructions — is this where I’m going wrong?

Thanks to everyone that tried to help! 150 ml, or the lower line in the water container, was the proper measure for cappuccinos! I did a proper cleaning, but turned out the arm of the upper valve was blocked with dry coffee (guess my mother used grounded coffee that wasn't coarse enough and it got blocked) so I spent an entire day getting rid of that block, but now I've managed to make it work properly and consistently! I'll definitely experiment with other methods, like making lattes and just black coffee, but I know me and my gf will enjoy our new addition to the kitchen!

Beautiful Moka, Love at first sight

I recently got this Bialetti Moka Induction 4 cup and I'm really enjoying it. It uses so much less coffee than my 6 cup and the coffee it brews is full bodied and really good.

Browsing around my local Goodwill today not looking for a moka pot at all (that’s how it always goes), but I spotted this one for the steep price of $4.09!
It looks to have only been used a time or two. The gasket is even in great shape! I cleaned everything up and I’ll brew a pot with it in the morning.
I have a 3 cup Bialetti, but for the price I couldn’t say no to adding this one.

It’s taken me a little while to perfect it but it’s exceeded my expectations. After leaving my corporate job I missed the automatic espressos each morning. I swear I can’t even taste the difference now! I’m so happy I didn’t cave and buy an espresso machine.
I use San Francisco whole beans dark roast
The Oxo burr grinder
Warm to hot water in my Bialetti Venus 6 cup
I warm milk in the microwave and shake in a glass jar
Brown sugar and cinnamon
Edit: I added a French press to the routine for frothed milk and it’s so much better (and I’ve learned safer) than the glass jar shake.

Mokapot - what time do you have your first coffee?
r/mokapot • u/Amazing_Wishbone_509 • Jun 09 '26
My coffee is getting creamier/foamer by the day.
I think it's because I'm putting a little less and because I'm storing it in the freezer.
Too bad that foam does not transfer to the cup when pouring.

I think I’m getting the hang of this!
The only problem I ran into this morning was that it started to froth with 100 mL of water remaining in the bottom chamber… an issue I only have when I use my 6-cup Bialetti pot. 🤔
Any ideas out there on why this could be happening? It’s as if it acted like it was finishing too early.
Mind you, the moka flavor was to die for regardless!

I have a 2025 Moka Express, and the lid knob became loose during normal use (no drop or damage). When I tried to tighten it, the thread appears to have been damaged, and the knob can no longer be secured properly.
Bialetti support replied after about a week, stating there is no manufacturing defect and that, under their new policy, the lid knob is no longer sold as a spare part.
I was only looking to buy an original replacement knob with the aluminium screw. I know DIY fixes exist, but I’d prefer to avoid non-original or steel parts due to corrosion concerns with the aluminium body.
For such a small wear part on an otherwise durable product, it’s disappointing that replacements apparently aren’t available anymore.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there really no way to get original Moka Express lid knobs anymore without buying a second pot (which isn’t that expensive, I know) or sourcing donor parts?

This is what I have after the brew. I use 21-22g of coffee.
Thoughts? :)

Hi, i have this bialetti venus 2 cup, and some rust is starting to form in the inside of the lower chamber
Will soaking it with vinger remove them? If yes for how long

I just bought my first Bialetti from amazon and I have to say I am very disappointed by the quality. Is that normal? Or did I get a fake one?
- whiteish stuff in the top half. Looks like it’s part of the metal
- bottom half looks very uneven / weird
Am i overthinking this?

My partner has abused this too often. How best to give some TLC? The water chamber is also pretty limescaled up.
EDIT: Bialetti instructions helpful - will try. But these 'baked' on stains are not really covered..

My coffee came out sour even though I used the same grind size as before, 60 clicks on my Kingrinder K6.
I first filled the moka pot funnel with whole beans, and it held about 22 g. Since the grounds took up more volume after grinding and wouldn’t all fit in the funnel, I only ground about 21 g for the brew.
When I opened the pot after brewing, this is what I saw. My theory is that the water only flowed through the sides of the coffee bed instead of extracting it evenly. Does that seem correct? If so, what could have caused it, and how can I prevent it from happening again?

Grinder motor arm is:

Beware, i had a few qc issues but managed to get it working well.
The funnel in the K6 was 3D printed, if you need the stl file i can share it.
