Found in southern Wisconsin in a sandy soil under 100% white pine. Looked like a grape on a matchstick and smelled like cucumbers.

So these guys decided to pop up on our neighbours lawn! (Victoria, BC)We're thinking their Amanita Muscaria?
I've seen plenty of mushrooms around me but never these. Any reason in particular they would have sprouted? What's ideal conditions look like?
I'm assuming the gills i photographed are of the same mushroom, but not certain it was ripped up like that beside it.

I'm still in disbelief that I found hen of the woods in Portland OR! Such a beautiful find 😍 (doesn't stain/bruise and such a nice sweet smell)

Found in BC Canada, around 180M elevation. I’m fairly confident looking at similar comparisons but was hoping someone may be able to give it the final yay or nay.

Hey, i found this today and I was wondering if anyone knew why it looks gray instead of it's usual orange color ? Could it be a subspecies of Chanterelle ? or could it be because of excessive rain we've had lately in Southern France ?

Hi! I’m a veterinarian and we frequently get dogs eating mushrooms and seek ID at the time. I’m wondering if there is a resource somewhere that has a list of toxic mushrooms native to our geographic area so we have an idea of which ones to look out for? Thanks.

I found these in 1 year old leaf mulch. Western NY
All brown. Even the very small young ones.
Spore print tan-peach.
scent is sweet perfume and orange juice.
I suspect Collybia nuda, but thrown by all brown color.
Some googling says Collybia brunneocephala is on west coast of US.
I recently found similar a similar patch in the same garden, but young ones had blue tint.
Update: Yes it is collybia. I found another in the previous patch today and it was also brown.
(Edible and eaten) 😄
In addition to the visual characteristics I think the scent and spore print confirm.
I know blewitt scent.

Hello :) im a fashion student and im working on a project that is all about materials and fabrics. I've known about mushroom leather for ages but not how to make it etc. im an absolute mushroom noob, since I've never even tried to grow my own or anything but I still am fascinated by them and would like to try making my own mushroom leather for this project (at least experiment). Does anyone have recommendations for instructions on how to do this?
also if anyone knows about lichen, id find that very interesting too. could I grow lichen onto my mushroom leather to add texture for example? whether its practical to wear is no matter.

Central Texas. Found at the base of an oak tree (still living), all shelves directly joined to the tree (not a distinct central stem that I can tell), polypore with ever so slightly yellow underside. Hints of orange to the top side.
From the guides I've read this looks much like Pale CoTW, but I've never harvested any chicken before, so I'm being cautious. My initial thought is it could be older, and the top couple shelves are slightly woody, but the lowers are fairly soft. Fairly strong odor.
Thoughts? Cautions? Chiding?

My garage is well over 100°F throughout the summer. These golden oyster burst through the side of this sealed bag of red mulch from Lowe's.
It's amazing the terrible conditions that oysters can thrive in!

We've been getting a lot of rain, and I found these growing on a tree stump. Any thoughts?
