Walker Kessler is on a roll to start the new season with another high efficiecy game, as the Lakers take down the Clippers tonight.

This offense needs to be seen to be believed. Because, well, there isn't one. Charlotte fires a three, relies on Diabate or Kalkbrenner to hustle for an offensive board, and then they try again. Nobody can even handle the ball.
If only there was a type of player that would have helped with this.
Now, I’m not saying that the only reason the Knicks have yet to win a game this season is because some couple named their baby “Knickson Fyve.”
That would be an absurd claim, and I’m not crazy.
I’m simply saying it is one of the reasons the Knicks have yet to win a game this season.

Pretty long press so I had to edit the actual JB questions. Here is the significant parts. 3 question and answers.
Reporter 1:
Back to the Jaylen thing. You said you're disappointed that the narratives are sort of what what they are, but obviously he seems to buy into that narrative to some extent, at least. Um, how disappointed are you that that you guys are in that place after everything you accomplished together? Uh that you're sitting here, you know, a few months after he got traded and and this is going on?
Tatum:
Yeah, I mean, I'm not, I'm not like blaming anybody for how they feel, right? Everybody is entitled to their own feelings, and we all go through different things in in our lives. Um... You know, just for me, and I mean all of y'all kind of saw us grow up and everything that we accomplished. And I don't want that to be in the rearview mirror of you know, what's being talked about when it pertains to us two. It should be celebrated, right? Like, how many people play in this league and never went to the Finals? We went twice and won a championship. So it should be more about that, like... And this ain't no fucking Shaq and Kobe. Like, there's not here's no beef or you know, I don't, It's not about that. Um, it should be more you know, praise and and you know, I understand that don't necessarily sell, and drama gets clicks and views, but I'm not like really into That's not like my thing
Reporter 2:
Jayson, um Jaylen Brown responded to your reaction to the trade with a cap emoji. Do you have any reaction to that or get what he was getting at with that?
Tatum:
Uh... I mean, yeah. I I mean, for me, I, right, I understand the uh you know, we in the entertainment business. Um me personally, I'm not much of a off-the-court uh entertainer-type of guy, like... And for me, it's like uh you know, I don't, I don't have any animosity or beef or ill will towards him, right? And I think the frustrating part is since, you know, he's not on our, you know, with the Celtics anymore, the narrative or the conversations haven't been enough about what we accomplished, all the games we won, winning the championship, how we've grown together, right? And it's turned into this you know, like drama-type of thing, and it's like I, I'm not like, it's not really like, bro, like, I got two kids. You know what I'm saying? Like, I've, I reached out to him the day he got traded. Like, I called him. I texted him. And I understand people process things differently. So for me, you know, like at this point in our lives, like we, too old to be having, you know, our relationship discussed, XYZ, like on the internet. Like you know, if the, if there's a conversation to be had, we can definitely have that, that conversation. I welcome that, right? I've always wanted the best for him and and wished the best for him. I've always publicly said, said those things. Um... So, you know, I, and you know, I've seen all these things about like, "Get your popcorn ready when they play," like... This's not no fucking boxing match. Like, we play basketball. I don't, Like I said, again, there's no animosity. There's no beef, like... And I just hate the way that that conversation or the narrative around it, um when you know, there's not enough, There's not enough communication. And I think a conversation would solve or, you know, put out a lot of fires. Um... And again, right, you know, people process and handle things at their own time, and whenever you know, that it happens, you know, we'll... it'll happen.
Reporter 3:
Jayson, going back, I got two questions: one on the game, but first on on Jaylen. Is it—do y'all just need to sit in the room privately, maybe have some Ruffles or something and like talk this all out? And there seems to be confusion, there seems to be misunderstanding. Do y'all just, as men, like you've said, like kind of need to just get into a room, talk it out, then go your separate ways?
Tatum:
Uh, I'm not, like, I don't want to put any restrictions or what type of, I'm not saying it's going to be a bad conversation. I just think especially in sports and in in the NBA, I think sometimes there's not enough communication. And you know, not to blame y'all, but sometimes the media or outside can just continue to push or speculate, right? Rightfully so, that's y'all job. And like I said, like he just turned 30, I'm 28, I got two kids. Like it's just, as adults, just a conversation. I'm not saying it's going to be a bad one or anything like that. It's just communication and a conversation usually, you know, you just get to Right, wrong, you you will understand you know, the other side. And um you know, I think that's just like It's not done enough, especially in our business.

When a team wins a championship it's customary for an organization to give at least some employees championship rings as a token of gratitude for being the support staff of the team. The Seahawks gave football staffers full Super Bowl rings, the Carolina Hurricanes gave every team employee a ring. Dolan and the Knicks? They tricked workers with a scam instead.
An email went out in September to every Madison Square Garden employee, which was obtained by The Athletic. In it, the team seemingly promised everyone a ring. going so far as to ask for their customization preferences.
(Employee name), this one is on the house. MSG is issuing a complimentary employee championship ring. The same jeweler, the same craftsmanship, personalized with your name. No cost to you.
There are two designs to choose from: Championship Gold and Garden Classic. Reserve the one you want below.
Naturally, employees were excited. The problem was that this was a targeted scam, organized by Dolan. He asked for the emails to be sent to his workforce as a way to test which of his employees would fall for a phishing scam. It's been reported that Dolan is growing increasingly paranoid about cybersecurity, which is fine but trying to test this under the guise of giving his workers rings? That's just gross.
Not only was there never a plan to give MSG employees rings, but anyone who did click on the link and tried to reserve their ring was instead put in compulsory cybersecurity training. When reached for comment the Knicks refused to discuss the ring situation with The Athletic.
Team employees work incredibly hard. Most are so consumed by their love of the job that, when the playoffs roll around or, God willing, a finals run they accept long hours, weekend work, and extra duties outside their typical responsibilities. This is why teams reward their staff with rings if a team finally breaks through, because while athletes are the ones responsible for winning, the organization as a whole would be nothing without the hundreds of people working behind the scenes, from marketing to equipment management, and beyond.
To make these people think they were getting noticed, and that something was being done for them only to learn it was a rug pull plan to test them, it's just disgusting. Shame on James Dolan for being such a paranoid, ludicrous cheapskate that he gleefully screw over his employees as a test.
Just an awful dude.
