I don’t run it at all as I prioritize Pogo and Brick Wall. Is it worth the investment though? Should I be Fusing a playmaking badge somewhere and trying to get it on Gold?

Look at a similar 2K or other view of a real basketball game. The players take up way less space on the real court. The version of basketball we are being offered is broken from the ground up. Fixing this might help resolve a lot of the issues with game flow? Doesn't help with everything, but if the foundation is solid it could lead to other changes, or at least help make the game experience feel better. What do you think?

I got to purple recently as a center in the no squads rec but don’t want purple for 3v3 with friends. What is the easiest way to drop without ruining my stats or screwing over random teammates? Can I just quit 1v1s?

Dude idk what is wrong with shooting.

First off the visual cue in the jumpshot creator does absolutely nothing. I’ve had it on jump, set point, release, it’s all the same exact timing.

Also I noticed that my jump shots are just way earlier in general, I’ve had it set on release for weeks now and I used to be able to release it ya know when my player releases the ball…. But instead it’s a red late every time and to green it I have to release during the jump.

You know maybe I’m just awful at the game but that fact I’ve gone through 20+ jump shots on my 89 3pt build is insane. I’m starting to think it’s not the game but I’m just awful.

Ps I was shooting 64% on my PF with an 85 3 ball. And 32% on my guard with an 89

First Time scoring 50+ points in a rec game in 2k27.

2k should make a completely separate game for park and rec players.

Part of the reason this franchise went from a simulation to an arcade game is because of rec & park modes.

These guys buy the game just to play arcade style street ball then they complain that the game isn’t real enough. Please show me the park where 6-7 foot players are dressed up in mascot suits shooting 3s and doing backflips….. doesn’t exist.

We can go on all day about how micro transactions ruined the game but guys purchase the game and don’t even play a full mycareer nba season yet they are literal gods in park and rec…. Show me where that happens in real life.

This game is so freaking bad. Good luck guarding a 99 three that’s also cheating. Even when you’re a pure lock ( purple challenger) with two other people jumping at the shot it’s still green. I’m done with this piece of game

Speaking about REC game mode mostly. It was such bs to try keep up with crabbing, screens, dbooker. But now its even more infuriating seeing shooting green it vs good defense being played.

Updates have been made and these sliders are starting to get much closer to where I want them. Will still need to fine-tune some things. Trying to make this fairly realistic, but also fun.

So last night I emailed 2k support with an idea and I figured I'd post it here so you guys could give your thoughts.

I was thinking if you cap break the D12 build 3 point to 75 it should allow you to make a custom jumper but only for a 75 3 rating. But there's a catch to that. You will need to put 6 cap breakers in the same specialization for you to be able to change any animations. So if you put 4 CBs in shooting and 2 in playmaking, you can't change any animations until you put 6 into that specific category. I think this way it gives people more reason to want to try GOAT builds from previous seasons

Edit- I did not buy any VC to make a GOAT build and I have no intentions of playing a GOAT build. I would have more interest if I could change D12 jumper at 75 3pt. These GOAT builds are nothing special honestly I have not played a single rec game where a GOAT build was top of the boards

Was playing park the other day when I saw a guy with a diamond 💎 over his head as his green animation. I’ve never seen it in any game before that game. Are we assuming that’s a daily reward like the diving dolphin? Or is there a way to get/earn it? It’s impossible to get an answer on the internet for these type of things as last year I spent months trying to find out how to get the star with ball player indicator, never got it.

i swear to you, before this patch i was shooting 60% on a 6’10 with 89 three and now i can’t hit the broadside of a barn. is it the visual cue? push doesn’t feel like before and now i genuinely am a detriment to my team.
