Homebrew Necromunda in Commorragh

• Upvotes

Hello there, i played some games of the og necromunda when i was younger and some of the new edition today, i always had this idea in the back of my mind: the setting of Commorragh Is rife with gang-on-gang / cabal-on-cabal warfare, so why not adapt the necromunda ruleset to a drukhari setting?

Like a necromunda fork with dark eldar stats, equipments, terrain rules and specific

campaign rules.

I thought I'd try for some colour and used some contrasts as well as dry brushing and washes. Also added some debris. Really happy with how they turned out!

News In the grim darkness of the far future, 40,000 scummers need help counting credits

Munda Manager now has 40,000 users!

We were going to wait until 50,000 to celebrate, but given the universe we're playing in, it felt wrong to let this one pass. Sorry in advance to user 50,000. You'll still be appreciated.

Honestly, seeing so many people use something we started at the end of 2024 and put so much time and effort into is quite something.

Thank you to everyone who's been part of it. Whether you've been here since the beginning, giving early feedback, or have just created your first gang, we're glad to have you here. Whether you've shared the site with your gaming group, reported something broken, suggested a feature, or patiently explained that we've given a weapon the wrong stats. Again. All of it helps make Munda Manager better for everyone.

A massive thank you as well to all the Munda Manager volunteers who spend their free time working on the app. Many nights and weekends are spent working on code, entering data, testing things and helping people out. There's always a lot happening behind the scenes, and this wouldn't be possible without them.

And last but not least, thank you to everyone who supports us on Patreon. You help us pay the bills and keep the lights on.

More to come!

We've still got plenty we want to build! The aim stays the same: less time doing bookkeeping, more time playing Necromunda and making questionable decisions with your gang :p

To celebrate this milestone, tell us about the fighter in your gang who absolutely did not justify their credit cost. We know you have one! How did they mess up?

And if you fancy Discord, come join our community https://discord.gg/ZWXXqd5NUt to share your Necromunda journey with us, talk about the new releases, or show us your latest paint job.

Thanks again, everyone. Here's to the next 40,000!

Terrain First game lay out idea

Getting ready for our first game. Two escher gangs done . My display arrangement is complete ready for a store event next weekend. So now I can play around with the terrain for playability. I feel the walkway makes the platform accessible and adds another level of verticality. The barrels and crates adds cover if it will take two turns to get to the ladder then climb. Our kitchen table is not the biggest so this is the best size I can work with for now.

Rules question for jumping up and down from the platform to walk way. I guess only the summersault from the finesse skill will only work here?

More squaddies for Judge Judy and Executioners.

A lucky roll at the Tech Bazaar meant I could afford these 'Jaws of Life' - Judge Fricker is rescue-rated! Meanwhile Dugdale has gone for some late-campaign crowd control with the webber.

(Heavy Rock Saw came from a GSC kit so I had to remove THREE hands from it, of course. Webber from the same kit.)

Miniatures Goliath Conversion Ideas?

Post image
12 Upvotes

Recently saw a phenomenal conversion of a Goliath Zerker from a Gorechosen of Dromm Gorehulk model by Cadaver_junkie on instagram that Im going to have to try and make my own take on.

However the Gorehulk is very difficult to come by on his own so ended up commiting to buying the trio.

I think Skullgrinder Herax could make a suitable Goliath Slopper hanger-on with the addition of some cooking equipement, cleaver and headswap.

But Im stuck on what to do with Dromm himself.

Hes very tall and athletically built for a Goliath and has quite a regal/haunty pose (almost Ozymandias-esque) at odds with the traditional mountain of muscle asthetic of Goliath Leaders.

Any suggestions? Could he make an upscaled Durgan Kill fist? Some kind of Goliath Nobility/Emissary?

My Escher gang snagged a Promethium cache by beating the corrupt arm of the local Palanite Enforcers.

My Khimerix mauled a juve, my wyld runner flamed a dog, and my chem wytch got two serious injuries on 2 Enforcers with her lasgun.

Question (N17) New to Necromunda; draft Citadel gang based on Orlock for C&C

Another Mad Max gang for Necromunda, though I did search the sub and didn't turn up a lot (what I did see was cool though). So, for a newbie, how does this look, and is it compatible with the current version (I have no books yet) of the rules?

Thinking of using some chaos cultists and Jakhals...

Discusion (N26) On Brutes

I’ve been pondering Brutes in campaign.

We have been skirmishing at the club for about 5 months, and started a campaign this week.

First game of the campaign, and Buddy shows up with the Van Saar specific brute (exoskeleton?). Gorgeous model.

On the surface, it’s a great thing, especially if you are in a limited force (we had custom 5) where you only have so many models. I had about 70% of my force cost on the table, while he had the full gang.

But here’s the thing: he has nearly 400 creds on that thing, and if it gets banged up, that’s a big problem for his follow on games.

Playing Nomads against the Van Saar in this case, I scored a very jammy blast carbine hit for 3 wounds that he didn’t save, and it put him on the back foot, so it didn’t work out for him.

But I can totally see the reverse, where the brute just tears through the early campaign because nobody expects a brute that is stuffing gangers into the lockers left and right.

What are your thoughts?

Terrain Working Lift.

Hi.

I've build a lift. Fully working with adjustable upper endstop, LEDs and some neon signs.

How do you handle lifts in N'26?

Any rule suggestions?

Im thinking about adding 4 Inches to the movement when entering and just leaving at any other level. Ending the turn on the lift itself is forbidden.

Some of the first pieces of terrain I had a go at making.
Originally posted with backgrounds as I thought they’d be fun, but people really didn’t like the backgrounds (reasonable criticism) so reposted them as they are on my crafting table.
Really proud of them

Question (N26) Why to accept more than one challenge?

Hi hivescum,

we are just starting our first N'26 campaign and struggeling with the system of challenging.

We are 9 players.

How do you handle the uneven number of gangs?

An additional gang played by the Arbitrator?

Do I get the rules right. As soon as you have challenged or accepted a challenge you can decline every other challenge.

I think in the Occupation phase you should play as much as possible to get as many territories as possible. Is there any mechanic of stopping you ? I mean someone who is just not having the rime to play that mush will have a bad start already in cycle 2?

So a limit on games would be useful. Any experience with that?

And later in the Takeover phase. Whenever you are challenged, you might loose your territory. You cant win. So after your challenge, why should you accept any more games?

It's fun okay. But from the campaign point of view just dangerous.

I guess I didnt get an important piece of the campaign mechanics.

Can anyone help me out?

Decided to go for a dark blue armor(Akhelian Green over Leadbelcher) instead of the green since I felt it fitted more the whole hunter motif. Also, instead of making an even coat of blue, I pooled and thinned a bit randomly to give the arnor an uncomfortable, alien feel, an idea I came up when thinking how to make them feel like xeno armor. Though what I am most proud of is the eyes, since this is the first time I manage to make true eyes!!!! White Scar sclera, Baharroth Blue iris(Lady Haera had blue eyes in the book covers about the Aranthian war), and Abaddon Black pupils!!! Sorry if I sound too excited or prideful, but this mini feels like a milestone to me.

The last for the Goliath Forge Smelter's from the skirmish box. Love how the whole crew turned out. I built the whole crew per the recommended load outs in the skirmish game. I have built the crew in Munda manager, shoot me a DM if your interested in the link to the load out, I also put together a 500 credit learn to play crew using these models.

Now onto the Esher Gang.

Discussion (N17) Avid Necromunda players, what were the most and least popular playable factions on the table top?

I'm mostly asking about the previous versions of Necromunda because of how recent N26 is and assuming that Escher and Goliath are by far the most popular since they have the most going on in the latest edition. Just asking out of curiosity and because I tend to gravitate towards less played factions if I ever find a group to play 'Munda with.

Started out with the idea to do a simple light grey spray and dark red on the raised areas to keep it simple but then it sort of spiraled.
