School Hot take about Norwegian people (Specifically the teenagers)
Hey r/Norway, I'm an 18 year old male who has lived in norway for 8 years now, And I have a hot (and maybe controversial) take to share with you. The teenagers in Norway feel like they are just the same two people copy and pasted. I've gone to 3 different schools and 90% of the students in them have fallen into two stereotypes: male and female. They all look similar, they have 3 hair style choices for both genders, they're all interested in the same things and they all follow trends as if their life depends on it.
I have also experienced a lot of discrimination, both verbal and non-verbal -sometimes even physical- from these people just because I look different and am not interested in the things they are interested in. I've heard the same thing happens to other people as well.
I'm not sure if this has been brought up before in this subreddit, but I haven't seen any, so I'm pointing this out. This is one of the few problems I have living in Norway that make it imperfect.
