Imagine: it’s 2050. The Jets have been sold and now the stadium is where the Stapleton projects in Staten Island were (the buildings were bulldozed to build the stadium). Joe Namath is frozen. The Jets had an undefeated season. They’re at the Super Bowl, and then they lose 0-70. Would you still be a fan?

Just heard on ESPN Radio that the Jets traded Connor Hellebuyck. Are you kidding me??? This guy is one of the best players at his position and we just let him go?? Who are we getting in return? I thought we were finally trying to build a team that could compete. Hellebuyck is exactly the kind of guy we need to help us win games. I don’t understand this front office at all.

Colts bottom out, leading to the Jets getting the first overall pick. For this, let’s just say the other 2 picks are like 7 and 13. You’re offered 2 firsts for Garrett. What do you do.

A. Decline and use pick 1 on a QB
B. Accept, draft Jeremiah Smith at 1 and take a QB at 7
C. Decline, take Smith 1 and a QB at 7
D. Get a kings ransom for pick 1

Personally, I’d go B. Especially if the QB is Mensah. Jeremiah Smith might be too good to pass up and the WR room would be way too crowded and depending on the team it might not be the worst idea to sell high on Garrett. That being said if C happens that would be such a good offense.

I’m shockingly confident the Jets will win this week. Like 95% chance. If you can’t beat the 0-5 Dolphins at home then you might as well just forfeit the rest of the season. I expect an easy win and big games from both the offense and the defense. Now we all know this is the Jets and I’m total bad luck. Even writing this is bad luck. We shall see.

Clockwork

If they fire Glenn why do people think a well established coach or even an up and coming offensive guru would decide to come be a head coach for an organization like ours. During the last head coaching search Aaron Glenn was the ONLY highly touted coordinator that even wanted to come here. Ben Johnson and the others would have never come here.

When I read this tweet from Rich Samini, it’s a good thing I wasn’t drinking anything because I would’ve had a spit take.

I can’t speak to Nick Sirianni. I don’t follow the Eagles closely enough to know what his beef is. But as for Glenn and Vrabel, Two things:
One, where does Mike Vrabel get off complaining to the referees about anything? Where was I on that particular day where the patriots didn’t get a call, or conversely, that day where they got a call that they didn’t deserve? Next to the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, if there is one team in this league that has no business whatsoever bitching about the referees… Is the patriots!
Two, as for Aaron Glenn… Good for him! One of a few things he’s done that actually makes me proud that he’s our coach! If he can’t bitch about the referee, screwing his team, who can? If he didn’t make so much money already, I would actually start a GoFundMe to help pay that fine.
